Trumps First Reaction On Elon Musk Launching New Political Party, Calls It Ridiculous
President Trump, wasting no time, blasted Musk's move in his first public response.
Speaking to the media, Trump dismissed the creation of the America Party as 'ridiculous.' He doubled down on his belief that the US should remain a two-party nation.
"It is ridiculous to start a third party. We have had tremendous success with the Republican Party...It has always been a two-party system. Starting a third party adds to confusion... He can have fun with it, but I think it is ridiculous," he said.

In a post on the social media platform X, on Friday, Musk teased the idea of the formation of a new political party and posted a poll for the users to tell if they wanted a new faction. He announced the result of the online poll and introduced the 'America Party'.
"Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom," Musk posted on X on Sunday.
'Train Wreck…': Trump
In a post on Truth Social, Trump posted, 'I am saddened to watch Elon Musk go completely 'off the rails,' essentially becoming a TRAIN WRECK over the past five weeks. He even wants to start a Third Political Party, despite the fact that they have never succeeded in the United States - The System seems not designed for them.'
'The one thing Third Parties are good for is the creation of Complete and Total DISRUPTION & CHAOS, and we have enough of that with the Radical Left Democrats, who have lost their confidence and their minds! Republicans, on the other hand, are a smooth running 'machine,' that just passed the biggest Bill of its kind in the History of our Country,' he added.
Musk-Trump Public Showdown
Tensions between Trump and Musk skyrocketed during the tech mogul's brief tenure as head of the DOGE. He reportedly pushed for more spending cuts and a reduction in federal workforce policies that clashed with Trump's plans. After their fallout, Musk has been a vocal critic of the US President's recent bill.
Is Elon Musk's New Party A Political Shift?
Elon Musk's entry into politics is a step in the political system of America that is more than just bold; it could be the new wave that the voters of the US were waiting for, or, as Trump said, Musk having 'fun'.

Terrorist Happy Passia's extradition to India from US begins: Sources
1:22 The Brics summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, attended by Prime Minister Modi, has become a focal point of international trade tensions. Brics leaders criticised Donald Trump's tariff policies, warning they could destabilise the global economy and distort trade. They argued that Trump's bill is inconsistent with international laws. In response, Trump reiterated his warning of a potential 10% tariff hike on countries pursuing 'anti-American policies'. This follows Trump's February statement threatening increased tariffs if Brics nations attempted to undermine the US dollar. Trump claimed his previous threats led to the BRICS states 'breaking up', stating, 'We haven't heard from the BRIC states lately.'

‘Pakistan spy' Jyoti Malhotra visited Kerala on govt invitation, reveals RTI; state tourism min reacts
Jyoti Malhotra, a 33-year-old vlogger from Haryana recently arrested on charges of espionage for Pakistan, had earlier visited Kerala on an official invitation from the state government, said an RTI (Right to Information) reply that has now surfaced. Malhotra was part of a tourism promotion campaign organised by the Kerala Tourism Department, which funded a group of social media influencers to enhance the state's digital visibility as a travel destination, ANI reported. The RTI response confirms that Malhotra's travel, stay, and itinerary expenses were fully covered by the department during her visit, according to a report by ANI. As per official records, Jyoti Malhotra toured Kannur, Kozhikode, Kochi, Alappuzha, and Munnar between 2024 and 2025 under the government's influencer collaboration initiative. Her participation was listed alongside several other digital creators active between January 2024 and May 2025. Investigations have since revealed that Malhotra had travelled to Pakistan multiple times and had established contacts with officials from Pakistani intelligence agencies, including personnel from the Pakistan High Commission. One such official was later expelled by India after their association came to light, ANI reported. Kerala Tourism Minister P A Mohammed Riyas on Sunday said that the Left government in the state and its ministers would never "knowingly" invite spies here and provide them with all facilities. Riyas remarked in response to reporters' queries regarding BJP leader K Surendran's allegation that social media influencer Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested in May on suspicion of spying for Pakistan, was invited to Kerala to promote tourism in the state. Surendran, in a post on social media platform 'X', also referred to an RTI reply confirming such an invitation to Malhotra and questioned why 'a Pak-linked spy's trip' was sponsored by Kerala Tourism. One of her earlier viral clips shows her dressed in a traditional Kerala sari while attending a Theyyam performance in Kannur, highlighting her role in cultural and tourism-focused content creation. Malhotra is among 12 individuals arrested in a coordinated crackdown across Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, targeting a suspected spy network accused of using Indian social media influencers to gather intelligence. The Left government in the state and its ministers would never 'knowingly' invite spies here. Her YouTube channel, Travel with Jo, features 487 videos, including travel content from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Thailand. Jeffery Epstein's Guest List, Murder Theories Debunked By FBI In New Report
Washington: Convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein didn't keep a supposed "client list" to blackmail powerful figures, the US President Donald Trump's Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) reportedly concluded in a memo on the disgraced financier's death probe. The finding also concluded that Epstein's 2019 death, which was surrounded by a slew of conspiracy theories, was, in fact, not a murder, according to a report by Axios. The memo also stated that no further charges would be filed against individuals linked to the infamous Epstein case. Epstein's former girlfriend and associate, and British socialite, Ghislaine Maxwell, is serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking and related offences. Trump's Epstein Connection After his public fallout with the President, tech billionaire Elon Musk linked Donald Trump with disgraced financier Epstein in a post on X. Trump's former ally, however, deleted an explosive allegation later, saying he "went too far." However, the questions surrounding Trump's name in the government's Epstein files have persisted because the President and the sex offender were acquaintances and neighbours who attended the same parties in the 1990s. In a 2017 interview, Epstein even claimed that he was "Donald Trump's closest friend." But Trump in 2019 said he was "not a fan of Epstein" and hadn't "spoken to him for 15 years." He also claimed that he had barred Epstein from his golf resorts in the early 2000s. Mystery Over Epstein's Death The Trump administration is also planning to release footage-- both raw and "enhanced versions"-- reportedly showing that no person entered the area of the Manhattan prison where Epstein was held the night he was found dead in 2019. On August 10, 2019, Epstein was found hanging off the side of his cell's bed, unresponsive in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Centre in New York--where he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Prison guards, who found him, performed CPR before transporting him to New York Downtown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:39 am. The Trump administration's new two-page memo claims that the video footage from the prison supports the medical examiner's conclusion that Epstein committed suicide. Conspiracy Theories The findings of the new report gain importance as it is the first time the Trump administration has officially contradicted conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein's activities and his death, some of which were even pushed by the FBI's top two officials-- director Kash Patel and his deputy Dan Bongino-- before Trump appointed them to the bureau. Patel and Bongino, who are both social media influencers and activists, were among the Make America Great Again (MAGA) figures who questioned the official account of Epstein's death. Ever since Epstein's death, there has been chatter, particularly among right-wing circles, that the disgraced financier's crimes involved government officials, celebrities and business leaders and that someone killed him to cover it up. Trump Team's Memo In its memo, the Trump administration said investigators carefully reviewed footage of Epstein's prison cell from about 10.40 pm on the night of August 9, 2019, when he was locked in, until around 6.30 am the following day when he was found unresponsive. Axios reviewed the footage, but could not independently verify it, reportedly showing no one entering the area. "The FBI enhanced the relevant footage by increasing its contrast, balancing the colour, and improving its sharpness for greater clarity and viewability," the memo said. The memo added that investigators found "no incriminating 'client list' " of Epstein, "no credible evidence ... that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals," and no "evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties." What's Next The DOJ and FBI said that no "further disclosure" of Epstein-related material "would be appropriate or warranted," suggesting no more confidential files related to the case would be made public. The memo claimed that most of the material in Epstein's files relates to child sexual abuse, details of sex offender's victims, and information that would expose innocent individuals to "allegations of wrongdoing." "Through this review, we found no basis to revisit the disclosure of those materials and will not permit the release of child pornography," the memo added.
