Houthis strike Israel with 2 missiles after attack on Hodeidah
ALBAWABA- The Israeli military announced on Monday that it had detected two missiles fired from Yemen.
The Army added that it was working to intercept them and was reviewing the results of those interception attempts, as reported by Al Jazeera on July 7.
The military also mentioned that air raid sirens sounded in several areas across Israel after the two missiles were fired by the Houthi group in Yemen. On X, the army wrote: " IAF jets, guided by intelligence, struck Houthi terror targets at the ports of Al Hudaydah, Ras Isa, Salif, and the Ras Kanatib Power Plant."

For his part, the deputy head of the media office of the Ansar Allah group (Houthis) said, "Gaza is not alone, and Yemen does not sleep in humiliation."
Yesterday night, the Israeli military carried out airstrikes targeting multiple targets in the city of Hodeidah in Yemen.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the air force attacked "terrorist targets in the ports of Hodeidah, Salif, Ras Isa, and the Ras al-Khatib power plant" in an operation dubbed "Black Flag." He added, "We attacked the Galaxy Leader ship, which the Houthis hijacked two years ago and are using for terrorist activities."
This comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trip to the United States, during which he will be meeting President Donald Trump and American officials to discuss the war in Gaza and the peace talks with Hamas to end 21 months of war and reach a ceasefire deal.
