UK-Based Instagram Account Posts AI-Generated Videos, Graphics Supporting Iran And Its Resistance Axis

On June 15, 2025, Tarek Bazzi, an anti-U.S. and anti-Israel activist based in Dearborn, Michigan, shared an AI-animated video envisioning Iran and its axis destroying the Jewish state. The video was created by a UK-based creative AI generator, and posted to his Instagram account.[1] Following is a brief review of that account, which has also published other content using Shi'ite religious imagery in support of the Iran-backed Axis of Resistance and glorifying Lebanese Hizbullah, Yemen's Ansar Allah movement (the Houthis), Palestinian armed groups, and other Iran-backed factions. The Instagram account, describing its creator as a "visual AI specialist" and "creative director," who focuses on "cinematic Shia videos & free wallpapers," currently has 182,000 followers. It has published 69 posts since March 2024. Video Released After Nasrallah's Killing Declares "Victory Is Closer Than Ever," Graphics In Honor Of His Funeral Pledge Loyalty To Him On September 29, 2024, shortly after the killing of Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike, the account released a one-minute 22-second video titled "Victory Is on the Horizon," predicting the victory of the Iran-backed axis despite Nasrallah's death. The video depicts Hizbullah fighters reading from the Quran under a tree, witnessing the Israeli strike that eliminated Nasrallah, as a narrator declares in Arabic: "You don't know who you're fighting today. You are fighting the sons of Muhammad and Ali and Hassan and Hussain …" Declaring: "The time has come to unite," the video then shows representatives of various Axis of Resistance groups – a member of an Iraqi militia driving in the desert, a Palestinian militant overlooking the Dome of the Rock, a Hizbullah operative in the forest, a Houthi operative monitoring an American destroyer, and an Iranian soldier in an underground tunnel housing missiles – as a narrator declares in Persian that the "resistance in Palestine" and Hizbullah will be victorious. Depicting Nasrallah being embraced by the Hidden Imam, a narrator declares that the Shi'ites "will never abandon Palestine." The video closes with the text "Victory is closer than ever before," while showing a large crowd of Muslim worshipers surrounding the Dome of the Rock. The day before Nasrallah's funeral, on February 22, 2025, the account published two graphics. A poster depicting a large crowd of Hizbullah supporters – with a Shi'ite holy figure, perhaps the Hidden Imam, standing in their midst – features the text "Condolences on the grand farewell of our beloved master of resistance." The graphic was also released in the form of wallpaper for a mobile phone, which was advertised on the Instagram account with the Hizbullah slogan "We remain loyal to the pledge." The Instagram post, titled "Sayyedna [Our Master]," an honorific used to refer to Nasrallah, asserts: "How blessed are we to have lived in the era of this giant personality? The world will never be able to fill his space." Video Predicts Israel's End Is Near, At Hands Of Iran And Its Proxies A June 15 video, released during the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, is titled "The True Promise" – the name of Iran's current operation against Israel – and predicts the imminent elimination of the Jewish state at the hands of Iran and its proxies. It opens with Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei reciting Quranic verses about victory, while depicting Iranian fighter jets flying through the sky; Houthi seamen advancing on an American destroyer; armed Iraqi militiamen driving through the desert; armed Hizbullah fighters walking; and a Palestinian in a keffiyeh releasing a dove near the Dome of the Rock. Depicting a barrage of Iranian missiles being launched and falling on an Israeli city, as Israelis scream in terror, it features text declaring: "Justice will be served." Netanyahu is then shown cowering as rubble falls on him, before the Hidden Imam emerges with Imam 'Ali's sword, Dhu Al-Fiqar, to threaten the Israeli leader's life. Writing: "The Beginning of The End is here," the account prayed: "May Allah hasten the reappearance of Imam Al Mahdi and bring the justice we have been yearning for." Al-Shabaab Alliance With Yemen's Houthis Continues To Grow

In 2024, a United Nations monitoring team reported that the relationship between Somalia's al-Shabaab terrorist group and Yemen's Houthi rebels was 'transactional or opportunistic, and not ideological.' In a 2025 report, the U.N. said those ties are deepening and pose a growing security threat to the Horn of Africa and Red Sea regions. 'The flow of weapons from Yemen to al-Shabaab-controlled areas in Somalia continued,' the February 6 report stated. 'Between June to September (2024), al-Shabaab received assorted arms, ammunition and explosives through the ports of Marka and Baraawe in [Lower] Shabelle. 'The weapons were assessed to have been used in attacks against the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia camps in [Lower] Shabelle in September and November.' Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has blamed the Iran-backed Houthis, also known by the name Ansar Allah, for the proliferation of weapons that has fueled al-Shabaab's resurgence in recent months. The Somali National Army has experienced a frustrating roller coaster of highs and lows in its ongoing battles for territory with the al-Qaida-linked terrorists. Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) established a nonaggression pact with the Houthis in 2022 and has worked increasingly with them on weapons transfers and to coordinate attacks against Yemeni government forces since 2024. With some facilitation from al-Qaida global and AQAP, the alliance between al-Shabaab and the Houthis emerged pragmatically from international weapons smuggling between Somalia and Yemen. The Gulf of Aden separates the countries by just 280 kilometers in some parts. 'For Ansar Allah, Somalia's porous coastlines have become critical to ensuring that the group has access to Iranian supplies and Chinese equipment necessary for the growth of its Iranian-supported drone and missile program,' analysts Ibrahim Jalal and Adnan al-Jabarni wrote in a March 14 report for the Carnegie Middle East Center. Compared to the weaponry al-Shabaab typically has used such as assault rifles, mortars and improvised explosive devices, the Houthis provide access to more advanced systems, including weaponized drones and surface-to-air missiles. In return, al-Shabaab has shared its coastal intelligence network and years of expertise in piracy with the Houthis. An uptick in maritime attacks has bolstered both groups' finances, fueling conflict on both sides of the Gulf of Aden. 'Cooperation with al-Shabaab and AQAP has provided the Houthis with more access to the Arabian Sea and Western Indian Ocean,' the Africa Center for Strategic Studies wrote in a May 28 article. 'Al-Shabaab's network of fighters, sympathizers and smugglers across Somalia and northern Kenya, moreover, offers the Houthis more opportunities to get arms shipments (many of which have come from Iran) out of the Indian Ocean and into coast-hugging skiffs or overland to the Gulf of Aden where they may have a better chance of reaching Yemeni shores.' Another sign of the groups' increasingly complex relationship came in 2024, when AQAP sent more than a dozen al-Shabaab operatives to Yemen for drone warfare training to expand the Somali group's tactical capabilities, according to the U.N. monitoring group's February 2025 report. The U.N. group also noted AQAP's launch of a communications application that has enabled exclusive messaging with al-Shabaab. Reports from the semiautonomous state of Puntland in northeastern Somalia suggest that the Houthi rebels have established bases in the Golis Mountains along the Sanaag region coast. 'Houthis are believed to operate missile development facilities in the Golis Mountains,' Maj. Abdirahman Warsame, the former commander of Somalia's elite Danab Special Forces, wrote in an April 10 article for Hiiraan Online. 'There was a missile test reportedly launched by Houthis from Harshaw in Sanaag to Taleh in the Sool region — a distance of 459 kilometers. 'Houthis in the Golis Mountains conceal their identity, impersonating al-Shabaab militants to mislead and intimidate the local populace. This tactic is intended to prevent resistance from local communities, who may otherwise oppose their presence.' With the groups working together to boost their finances, technology and operational capacity, experts are urging governments throughout East Africa to work together to counter the growing instability they bring to the Horn of Africa, Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. 'Given that both militant groups are well entrenched in their respective host countries, significantly degrading this threat will require more than maritime action,' the Africa Center recommended. 'Sustained efforts to reduce each group's territorial control will also be needed as these land bases have provided the platforms from which the nonstate actors have been able to launch attacks at sea, expand their revenue flows, and build their military capacity.'

Senior Houthi Ansar Allah Movement Officials: Iran Won The War, Proved U.S., Israel Understand Only Language Of Force; Our Attacks On Israel To Continue

On June 24, 2025, following the announcement of a ceasefire in the war between Iran and Israel, senior Houthi Ansar Allah movement officials declared Iran's victory and asserted that it had forced Israel to stop fighting. The same officials added that the ceasefire proved that Israel and the U.S. "understand only the language of force." At the same time, they threatened that the Houthi armed forces' attacks on Israel would continue as well as what they described as their "ban on aerial and marine traffic" at Israel's international airport and Haifa Port, until the end of "the aggression" against Gaza and the lifting of the siege on it. The following is a review of the responses from senior Houthi officials to the June 24, 2025 ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran: On June 24, 2025, as the ceasefire between Iran and Israel was going into effect, Muhammad Al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Houthi Political Bureau, posted a message on his Telegram channel that claimed that the decision to stop the war was in the hands of Iran because it knows best what is in its best interests. He wrote that if the war really did stop it would be Iran that had won because the U.S. and Israel had not achieved their strategic goals.[1] When the ceasefire went into effect, Al-Bukhaiti posted another message in which he asserted that the agreement by the U.S. and Israel to stop fighting "proved that military force is the only language they understand." He further declared that the Houthis would continue their military operations against Israel "until the end of the aggression against Gaza and the lifting of the siege on it."[2] Also on June 24, Deputy Head of the Houthi Media Authority, Nasr Al-Din 'Amer, shared a photograph of Khamenei on his Telegram channel and expressed gratitude to him, saying that "Iran forcibly imposed a ceasefire on the enemy Zionist entity. This is truly the imposing of peace by means of the power of Islam."[3] 'Amer also shared a poster from the Iranian Arabic-language news agency, Iran in Arabic, which shows destruction caused in Israel by an Iranian missile, beneath text in Arabic and Hebrew which reads: "The final shot is ours." In the text that accompanies the poster 'Amer commented: "Iran already said at the start: 'You began with aggression, but we are the ones who will end it with the last shot.' And in fact, the end came. Congratulations to the Islamic nation for the victory of Iran."[4] On the same day, Houthi Political Bureau and Shura Council member Hezam Al-Asad posted a message on his X account in which he wrote that the Houthi "ban [on aerial and naval traffic] at Ben Gurion International Airport and on Haifa Port was still in effect and would not be lifted until the end of the aggression and the lifting of the siege on our people in Gaza."[5]

Ansar Allah condemns US assault on Iran as blatant violation

Sana'a - Saba: The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah condemned and denounced the brutal American aggression and coward that targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran and its nuclear facilities. Ansar Allah politician considered in a statement that the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received a copy of it, the American aggression, a blatant aggression against a sovereign state and represents a flagrant violation of all international laws and covenants, a serious escalation and a direct threat to regional and international security and peace. It pointed out that the American aggression against Iran comes in the context of the unlimited criminal support that America provides to the Zionist entity in its crimes against the nation, and comes against the background of Iran's positions in support of the Palestinian cause and support for the movements of jihad and resistance against the Zionist entity. The statement pointed out that the Zionist aggression committed and is still the right to the brothers in Gaza, the crimes of genocide with American support. The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah pointed out that the American aggression against Iran cannot discourage Iran from continuing its liberation jihadist line against America and its wife, Israel, and this cannot be prompted to abandon its support for the Palestinian cause and the movements of jihad and resistance. While Ansar Allah's politician declared standing alongside the Islamic Republic of Iran, leadership, people, and army in the face of the Zionist and American aggression, he called on the peoples of the nation to get out of the state of silence, watching and proceeding with the option of jihad and resistance, one line in the face of the American Zionist arrogance that targets the nation and its sanctities and seeks to impose its direct hegemony over it. Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthi) Movement Threatens To Target U.S. Warships If Iran Is Attacked, Reaffirms Support For Gaza, Pledges Defense Of Any Nation Facing 'Israeli Aggression,' Warns Against Allege

On June 21, 2025, Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthi) Movement's armed forces issued a statement reaffirming the group's firm and principled stance in rejecting the "Zionist aggression" against the people of Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and any Arab or Islamic country subjected to Israeli attacks.[1] The statement, released on the Telegram channel of armed forces spokesman Brig.-Gen. Yahya Sare'e, emphasized that the conflict has expanded to include Israeli aggression against Iran, following its "ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people, its acts of genocide, and its continued assaults on the Lebanese and Syrian peoples, as well as its war against Yemen." The Houthis called Israel's latest actions "full-scale aggression" against Iran as part of a broader plan to reshape the Middle East and dominate the entire region. Accusing Israel of working toward this goal with full, active U.S. partnership and support, the Houthis went on to claim that its main objective is to eliminate Iran from the regional equation, since it is considered the "greatest obstacle to Israel's expansionist ambitions." The group issued a clear threat: "If the United States becomes involved in any aggression against Iran in support of Israel, the Yemeni Armed Forces will target American ships and warships in the Red Sea." Declaring that this battle is for the entire nation and that salvation, honor, and victory lie in taking action and engaging in jihad for the sake of Allah, the Houthi armed forces went on to quote Quranic verses, framing their response to the alleged Israeli-American aggression as a divine responsibility and moral imperative. After affirming their readiness to stand alongside any Arab or Islamic country subjected to "Zionist aggression" or that chooses to confront Israel in self-defense or in support of Palestinian resistance fighters, the Houthis also declared their unwavering commitment to the people of Gaza, pledging not to abandon them or allow the Israeli-American project to succeed in the region. The statement concluded with religious invocations and nationalistic slogans, affirming trust in Allah, loyalty to Yemen's sovereignty and independence, and solidarity with all free people of the Muslim nation.
