Police are on the scene of a stabbing in Scarborough on Sunday, June 29, 2025. (CTV News Toronto) A man in his 60s is in the hospital after being stabbed in Scarborough Sunday evening. Toronto police say they received a call for a stabbing at 6:15 p.m. in the area of Glen Everest Road and Wynnview Crescent, east of Kingston Road. When officers arrived, they located the man suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police say. No suspect information has been released.

1 dead in multi-vehicle crash on Stoney Trail S.W.
One person is dead and several others injured in a multi-vehicle crash along northbound Stoney Trail. We do not know seriously anyone may have been hurt or exactly how many vehicles were involved. Police say the collision happened around 6:17p.m. when multiple vehicles heading north on Stoney Trail collided between 17 Avenue and Bow Trail S.W. Police have closed Stoney Trail in both directions; southbound Stoney Trail traffic is being diverted at Bow Trail while northbound traffic is being diverted at 17 Avenue. There is no indication how long this closure will be in effect. This is a developing story and updates will be provided as details become available.
