Oasis fans' fury over 'losing tickets' to gig-goer spotted doing strange act

Daily Mirror11 hours ago
Oasis fans have been left seething after one concert-goer was spotted doing something strange at the band's final night at Wembley Stadium over the weekend
Oasis has nearly wrapped up the UK portion of their Live '25 tour, leaving ticketless fans green with envy as footage from the packed-out gigs floods social media. The Gallagher brothers concluded their five-night stint at London's Wembley Stadium over the weekend and are set to hit Edinburgh this weekend before jetting off to Ireland and then North America later this month.

However, devotees of the Mancunian outfit who were left empty-handed in the ticket scramble have found it agonising to watch others relish the first Oasis performances in 16 years - particularly when some gig-goers appear caught on camera not fully absorbing every second of this extraordinary occasion.

Certain supporters have been left stunned after clocking what one bloke was up to on his mobile during Oasis' closing Wembley show on Sunday (August 3rd), with many arguing they were denied tickets whilst people who don't dedicate their full attention to the performance managed to secure them.

In footage posted by a woman called Annie on TikTok, a chap sporting an Oasis shirt who was seated several rows ahead of her was spotted playing a mobile game during the concert.
She captioned the clip: "This is who you lost your Oasis ticket to."
Nevertheless, she made clear in smaller text at the bottom of the video that the performance hadn't actually begun when she filmed it, meaning the man wasn't gaming during Oasis' actual set but simply killing time whilst waiting.

She went on to say that she "respects the Farmville graft", a nod to the well-known farming simulation game she believed he was playing. However, it seems the man was actually engrossed in Stardew Valley, another farming simulator, this one created by ConcernedApe.
In a playful twist, Annie captioned her video with a pun inspired by the famous Oasis track Roll with It, penning: "You gotta sow with it."

To avoid any negative backlash towards the unsuspecting man from ticketless Oasis fans who might have misinterpreted her jest, Annie disabled comments on her video.
However, fans had previously voiced their opinions on a woman's behaviour at the band's initial comeback gigs in Cardiff last month, when she whipped out her phone to search for a well-known tune.
As Richard Ashcroft, the support act, belted out The Verve's hit Bittersweet Symphony, the woman was spotted using the Shazam app to identify the song. This sparked outrage among fans without tickets, who argued that she "didn't deserve" her ticket if she didn't recognise the iconic track.
One disgruntled fan commented: "Imagine not knowing the greatest song of all time."
Another lamented: "There's no way I lost tickets to someone Shazaming one of the most popular songs of the Britpop era."
Some sided with the woman, however, highlighting that she purchased tickets to see Oasis and shouldn't be expected to recognise the support acts, regardless of their fame in other circles.

During the finale, Yasmin's twin sister Zara and mum Mitra hosted a TikTok livestream. Speaking in the clip, Mitra said: "What you don't understand is this is not a paid vote. "If it's not a paid vote, you cannot see the results. That means they can say whatever they want. "Do you understand? For you to see the result - a correct result that people vote - you have to pay cash. "Because this is free voting, they decide." Mitra referenced Yasmin and Dejon writing each other's names on their boards during a villa game. The Islanders were asked who they'd couple up with if their actual partner wasn't in the villa. She added: "I always knew after that episode that Yasmin's not going to win - because of the way they edited it." The Sun has approached ITV for comment. Maya Jama says she 'blacked out' during Love Island final as she praises 'most dramatic series yet' However, ITV have refuted Mitra's claims by releasing the finale's voting percentages. Winners Toni and Cach secured an impressive 33.5% of the audience's support. Shakira and Harry drew a sizeable 26.2% of the votes, while Yas and Jamie were not far behind taking 22% on the nose. Aesthetics practitioner Angel, 26, only made her debut on July 17, but managed to secure an impressive 18.3% of the overall voting audience with Casa Amor boy Ty. As for Yasmin, she entered the villa on Day 5 alongside fellow bombshells Emily and Malisha. She then explored connections with villa boys Shea, Conor, Harry and Ben. Yasmin met Jamie during Casa Amor - and their bond continued into the final. Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX.

Mo Gilligan's ex makes cryptic dig at comedian after he shared clip of secret son

Comedian Mo Gilligan was accused of being a 'deadbeat dad' by his ex, Selina Christoforou, who has now shared a cryptic post seemingly aimed at the TV personality Mo Gilligan had been hitting headlines in the last week after the mother of his first child has slammed him as a "deadbeat dad" and claimed he doesn't see his first born. The comedian, 37, is getting ready to welcome his first child with current partner Taia Tulher, 28, but his ex Selina Christoforou, 35, posted an explosive video on TikTok where she claimed he already has a child but is a "deadbeat dad". ‌ Selina claimed she knows how few times the star has met his son Rudi and insisted you "can't make someone be a dad". Their son was born in January 2024, and Selina claimed she could "count on her fingers and toes" how many times Mo has seen their child over the last 17 months. ‌ Comedian Mo stayed silent on the claims made by Selina, he seemingly hit back at her with a post featuring Rudi. In a post shared last week, the short black and white clip showed a little boy playing a giant game of Connect 4. It comes after Helen Skelton and Gethin Jones split as he joins a notorious dating app on a lads' holiday. ‌ Mo decided to keep the boy's identity hidden, but included a very telling song alongside the clip. He paired it with Emotionless by Drake, which featured the lyrics: "I wasn't hidin' my kid from the world / I was hidin' the world from my kid. "From empty souls, who just wake up and look to debate / Until you starin' at your seed, you can never relate, Breakin' news in my life, I don't run to the blogs / The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call. ‌ "They always ask, why let the story run if it's false? /You know, a wise man once said nothin' at all." Days after his post, Selina took to her Instagram Stories to share a cryptic message on her Stories. The lyrics of Lorde's Man of the Year displayed over a black screen. The lyrics read: "Let's hear it for the man of the year. Hear it for the man of the year." ‌ After the song came out, TikTok users started using it to showcase all the wrong or hurtful things the men in their lives have done. Posts included screenshots of heartbreaking texts, rude Snapchats, mean encounters, voice memos and more. Mo never announced he had become a father when Rudi was born and it has been reported he met model Selina online. "She found out she was pregnant in May 2023 and it was quite a shock for them both because they'd been fairly careful," a source said. ‌ Speaking to the Sun they added: "She found out she was pregnant in May 2023 and it was quite a shock for them both because they'd been fairly careful. But she wanted to have the baby, despite the fact they weren't actually a couple. "She adores their son and Mo sees him semi-regularly. Now he's about to become a dad for a second time and he's over the moon. He has been with Taia for quite a long time now and he feels ready to settle down.'

It's unclear what is being said, but security can be seen separating the two groups of shoppers, reports the Manchester Evening News. As the clip progresses, the girl and her family depart, before another young girl hurls an unidentified object in the direction of where the security guards and the other group of shoppers are standing. ‌ Another clip, which is believed to have been filmed following the earlier footage, shows the youngster in the pink jacket on a descending escalator accompanied by two security personnel. She then clambers onto the central divide between the two moving staircases before scaling the stationary upward escalator and ascending the steps. Why we calling her diva again?" One individual remarked: "Hateee the way everyone's hyping this child up, like that is not a diva stop enabling this behaviour omg." ‌ Another added: "maybe it's because i actually have kids and I'd die of embarrassment if they were like this, but the response to this girl overall being "go off queen" is so ****ed."
