55-marathon challenge runner to be in Bradford this Saturday
Adam Rodriguez, 28, from Bath, is running the marathons to raise funds for charity Move Against Cancer, having been inspired by his mother's own cancer journey.
He began the challenge in Hereford on July 5, and will continue through to July 2026.
Mr Rodriguez said: "A few years ago my mother bravely battled large B-cell lymphoma in three places, and while she survived, the journey tested every part of our family.
"I'm passionate about trying to raise money for Move Against Cancer because they bring hope, movement, and community to people navigating the weight of cancer, reminding us that no one goes through it alone."
Mr Rodriguez's final marathon will be in Salisbury.
The day before that, he will be running a marathon in London - so he will be capping his challenge with two marathons in as many days.
Since he works full-time, Mr Rodriguez is running his marathons on Saturdays and Sundays.
Donations can be made to Mr Rodriguez's fundraising campaign via JustGiving at http://www.justgiving.com/page/adam-rodriguez-3

Liverpool leave massive clue star player is LEAVING
Liverpool have just left a massive clue that their star player is leaving the club. Adidas have finally returned to be the Reds' kit manufacturer after more than ten years away. Notably, you will have seen a lot of the club's players missing from the kit launch. Out of the big stars the likes of Andy Robertson, Dominik Szoboszlai, Cody Gakpo and Ibrahima Konate did not feature in the launch. Alisson Becker was also featured very sparsely in order to promote the goalkeeper kit. This is not a surprise. With the exception of Gakpo who is sponsored by Puma, the rest of the players are Nike athletes and therefore they will not have been able to participate in the kit launch. Virgil van Dijk who is also a Nike athlete, was a rare exception, he must have been given permission to appear in the advert given his status as a club captain. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas away range from 9am TODAY There's a strong rivalry between the two brands, which is why for example when Nike were doing kit launches someone like Mohamed Salah, who is a prominent adidas athlete did not feature in the promotional advertisements. But while the notable Nike and Puma absentees are to be expected there was a notable adidas exemptions in the promotional material. Darwin Nunez is an adidas athlete after switching over from Nike last season. In pre-season, he has been spotted wearing the latest adidas F50s, which suggests that he still remains an adidas athlete. Yet, he was nowhere to be seen in the promotional material for the new shirt, which is a surprise given the fact that he is a prominent and star player for the Reds.

Man Utd striker Hojlund available for £30m
Manchester United are prepared to sell striker Rasmus Hojlund for £30m. The Denmark striker scored twice against Bournemouth in Chicago on Wednesday. Immediately after the game he sought out waiting journalists to say his intention was to remain at United despite their ongoing interest in signing RB Leipzig's Slovenia forward Benjamin Sesko. However, the situation is not quite so straightforward. Newcastle are also keen on Sesko but are yet to strike a deal with RB Leipzig for the 22-year-old. United are waiting to decide their next move and there have been reports that the player would prefer to switch to Old Trafford. United sources are adamant they could do a deal before selling players. But it is accepted that there would have to be exits to ensure they remain compliant with the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules. And, if Sesko arrived, Hojlund would be marginalised. If Hojlund was sold for £30m, it would effectively be a loss for United given the forward's 'book value' is £43m as he is two years into the five-year contract he signed. United have spent almost £130m this summer on Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha. Latest Manchester United news, analysis and fan views Get Man Utd news notifications
