Lindsey Vonn Opts for Effortless Glam with Messy Bun for ‘F1: The Movie' Premiere in New York City
Lindsey Vonn styled a teased updo on the red carpet for the world premiere of 'F1: The Movie,' directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, on Monday night in New York City. Honoring the intersection of sports and beauty, the 40-year-old Olympic alpine ski racer donned the bespoke hairstyle not unlike what other athletes might wear during competition.
Outside the theater, Vonn posed for pictures with her platinum blond tresses twisted in a bun on the crown of her head. The four-time World Cup champion left thin pieces of hair out in front of her ears, openly defying the laws of the contemporary slick-back hair revolution popularized on TikTok.

The effortless look was designed in collaboration with artist Frankie Foye, the hair architect who's worked with the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio, Delilah Belle and Jennifer Nettles. For her makeup, Vonn tapped Edward Cruz, the visionary behind actor and musical star Darren Criss' 2025 Tony Awards visage. Cruz also designed Vonn's makeup for the premiere of 'My Mom Jayne: A Film by Mariska Hargitay' during the Tribeca Festival last week.
Vonn's eyes were heavily lined with dark pink shadow to accentuate the pigmented blush on her cheekbones. The hard-to-miss color carried down in her waterlines, while her pursed lips were painted in a light gloss. She wore extensions on the outer edges of her eyelashes and used a medium-brown pencil to shade her eyebrows.
Styled by Kara Cook, Vonn's outfit included a brown leather jacket and a black mini skirt by Vassia Kostara Limited Collections. She wore matching fingerless gloves, cosplaying as a fashionable F1 racer who likes to wear brown pointed-toe pumps.
Elsewhere on the carpet, Pitt stepped out with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, who also opted for a loose bun with front pieces framing her face. The jewelry designer, who has been linked to the Oscar winner since 2022, paired the popular hairstyle with a baby blue, two-piece set plucked straight from Chanel's spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The delicate ensemble was complemented by soft glam — a no-makeup, makeup look, if you will. Apart from a deep coral-colored matte lipstick and bronze shadow in her eyecrease, de Ramon wore minimal face makeup.
In 'F1: The Movie,' which is set to release in theaters on June 27, Pitt stars as a former Formula 1 driver, who cuts his retirement short to mentor a younger driver, played by actor Idris. Vonn came out of retirement last year after declaring the end of her career as a professional athlete in 2019.

Valtteri Bottas Drops Cryptic Cadillac Clip and Fans Lose It
Valtteri Bottas Drops Cryptic Cadillac Clip and Fans Lose It originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Valtteri Bottas just dropped a video that has sent the F1 world spiraling into speculation. In the short clip posted on social media platforms, Bottas is shown admiring a Cadillac with two empty seats. 'That's a nice seat,' he says with a grin. Advertisement When asked if he wants to sit in it, Bottas teases, 'Not yet.' It was the kind of playful-but-pointed moment that fans know never happens by accident and it didn't take long for social media to erupt. One fan wrote, 'Congrats Val! We miss you on the grid,' while another chimed in with, 'Lmao that's one to announce it, congrats!!' The post even sparked wild theories about a potential teammate, with comments like, 'You and Sergio Perez will make excellent teammates, let's go!' and 'Does Daniel Ricciardo like the other seat?' Valtteri Bottas at Las Vegas A. Vasquez-Imagn Images While Bottas hasn't confirmed anything, the context is hard to ignore. Andretti Cadillac have been lobbying hard to join the F1 grid by 2026, and Bottas — a proven race winner with global popularity — would be an ideal lead driver for a new team looking to make headlines. Advertisement Bottas' name has been linked with the Cadillac F1 project since F1 gave it the green light for 2026 and the short video clip is the clearest sign yet that the Mercedes test and reserve driver will be back in a race seat next year. Perez too has also been in the mix and is often deemed as a front-runner for the drive. The Mexican star has also been touted as an option for Alpine in recent weeks as well. Whether it's a lighthearted tease or a serious hint, one thing's clear: Valtteri Bottas still knows how to cause a stir, even off the grid. Lewis Hamilton Brought Two F1 Icons Into the Movie to Keep It Real
Lewis Hamilton Brought Two F1 Icons Into the Movie to Keep It Real originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Lewis Hamilton's influence on the upcoming F1 movie goes far beyond just a producer credit. Being a seven-time F1 champion, Hamilton ensured that it felt like real Formula 1. According to Sky Sports commentator David Croft, Hamilton was directly responsible for getting him and Martin Brundle involved in the film. Advertisement Speaking at the film's premiere, Croft revealed that Hamilton insisted on authenticity when it came to the race commentary. Rather than hiring actors to mimic F1 broadcasters, Hamilton urged them to bring in the real voice of the sport. 'If it wasn't for Lewis, I wouldn't be in the film,' Croft admitted. 'He sat down with Jerry Bruckheimer and Joseph Kosinski and said, 'Look, if you want to make it authentic in terms of commentary, don't get an actor, get Crofty and Martin to do it — because they're the voice'.' Croft also revealed that he thanked Hamilton for the gesture, only for Lewis to brush it off humbly, 'He said, 'You don't have to thank me', but I really appreciated it,'Croft added.
