The meeting aimed to evaluate performance, review the most important achievements, and discuss plans for the fourth and final week of the programme. During the meeting, attendees reviewed the most prominent activities implemented over the past weeks, most notably the combined cultural and sports competition, which witnessed widespread public interaction.

Activities included awareness, heritage, and sports workshops, as well as recreational trips that contributed to strengthening national identity, developing creativity, and raising community awareness among participants.
The attendees emphasised the importance of periodic review and evaluation of the programme's stages to ensure its development in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who believes in the importance of investing in people and places the people of Sharjah at the heart of his concerns, as reflected in his inspiring quote: "My children and I will protect them."
Integrated summer educational model
The committee operates within the framework of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), enhancing institutional integration and providing an integrated summer educational model that addresses the needs of youth and young adults, giving them the opportunity to spend a beneficial vacation filled with purposeful activities.
Final week plan
The meeting also discussed the plan for the fourth and final week, which includes a distinguished group of concluding events, such as workshops to develop creative skills, sports and recreational activities, interactive events for children and families, and diving introductory workshops.
A running race will also be held on the Dibba Al Hisn waterway, concluding a summer filled with giving and excellence.

Final Preparatory Meeting of the Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l'Océan Indien (CJSOI) 2025 Organising Committee Chaired by President Ramkalawan
The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, today chaired a high-level preparatory meeting of the Organising Committee for the 13th edition of the Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l'Océan Indien (CJSOI) Games, which Seychelles is proud to host from 1st to 11th August 2025. Held at State House, the meeting brought together all key stakeholders, including senior government officials, representatives of the Local Organising Committee, law enforcement and emergency services, youth and sports authorities, volunteers' coordinators, and partners from both the public and private sectors. The meeting served as a comprehensive final review of operational readiness across key sectors, including logistics, infrastructure, security, medical services, and transportation. It also assessed the overall experience being curated for athletes and delegations from the Indian Ocean region. The President was briefed on progress and final preparations in each area, aimed at ensuring a successful and memorable edition of the Games. President Ramkalawan expressed his satisfaction with the level of commitment demonstrated by all teams involved and reiterated the importance of national unity, hospitality, and professionalism in showcasing Seychelles to the region. He commended the efforts of all those who have contributed to the months of planning and coordination leading up to the event. Sharjah Summer Sports Rapid Chess Championship kicks off
The championship saw the participation of 71 players from various clubs across the Emirate, with the aim of attracting talented individuals. Promoting Chess and Developing Skills Al Mulla confirmed that the Sharjah Summer Sports Rapid Chess Championship, organised by the club, aims to promote the game of chess within the community, discover promising talents in the sport, and enhance the skills of participants through interaction and competition with players from different clubs. Part of 'Our Holiday is Different' Activities In a special statement to 'Sharjah 24,' Al Mulla noted that the championship is part of the 'Our Holiday is Different' summer programme, held under the patronage and supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council. The competition featured 71 participants across seven rounds. Winners Honoured at Closing Ceremony At the end of the championship, five players were honoured for securing the top positions, in addition to a special award presented to the best-performing female participant .
