UPSSSC Mukhya Sevika result 2025:
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially declared the final selection result for the Mukhya Sevika Main Examination 2025.
A total of 2,536 candidates have been selected against 2,567 advertised vacancies under Advertisement No.
05-Exam/2022. The result is now available on the Commission's official website, upsssc.gov.in.
The examination was held in two shifts on September 24, 2023, and was conducted for the recruitment of Mukhya Sevika posts under the Child Development Services and Nutrition Department, Uttar Pradesh. The final list has been released following normalisation of scores and eligibility/record verification.
The selection process also adhered to a High Court order dated November 13, 2024, in relation to Writ Petition No.
12924/2022 (Anita Singh & Others vs Union of India & Others).
Final result declared for 2,536 posts; 31 posts remain vacant
Out of the 2,567 vacant posts identified under vertical and horizontal reservation, the Commission has approved the selection of 2,536 candidates. A total of 31 posts have remained vacant due to the unavailability of suitable candidates under the 'dwarfism' (DW) sub-category of the Divyang quota.

Under vertical reservation, the Commission had advertised 1,027 posts for Unreserved (UR), 540 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 51 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 693 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 256 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Correspondingly, 1,013 UR, 534 SC, 51 ST, 685 OBC, and 253 EWS category candidates were selected.
No suitable candidates for ex-servicemen and outstanding sportspersons quotas
Despite reserving 128 posts for ex-servicemen and 51 for outstanding sportspersons under horizontal reservation, the Commission did not receive any eligible applications for these categories.
As a result, the posts have been filled by other candidates in order of merit. However, the quota for dependents of late war fighters, blind/low vision, and deaf/hearing impaired women was fulfilled with 51, 34, and 34 candidates selected, respectively.
Additionally, 124 candidates have been provisionally included in the final list. Their appointment will be subject to verification and the final decision of the Commission or the adjudicating authority.
The result is also subject to ongoing and future court rulings related to the same advertisement.
