
Social Insurance Authority Launches New Website to Enhance Digital Services
The Social Insurance Organization (SIO) has launched its newly redesigned website as part of its ongoing efforts to upgrade digital services and align with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030 and government strategy to improve the quality of public services.
Marking the occasion, SIO Chief Executive Officer Sahar Rashid Al Manai said the launch of the updated website is a key step in the organization's digital transformation journey. She emphasized that the new platform offers a more advanced and user-friendly experience, making it easier for citizens and residents to access insurance-related services and information.
Designed with a modern look and feel, the website reflects the organization's corporate identity. It features well-organized content, including e-services, laws and regulations, FAQs, a media center, informative guides, videos, and updated statistics.
One of the key features of the site is its inclusive design, ensuring accessibility for all users — including people with disabilities — through special tools that allow content to be adjusted for individual needs, in line with international web accessibility standards.
Al Manai added that this upgrade represents a significant leap forward in the authority's institutional modernization. It underscores SIO's commitment to providing flexible, secure, and transparent digital services that boost customer satisfaction and reinforce its vital role in Bahrain's social protection and sustainable development efforts.

Arab meeting on monitoring SDG implementation
The Ministry of Sustainable Development chaired the 17th Meeting of the Arab Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, in line with the Kingdom of Bahrain's presidency of the 115th session of the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States. The meeting, held virtually, was chaired by Dana Imad Hamzah, Assistant Undersecretary for Sustainable Development at the Ministry, and attended by senior representatives from Arab member states and national institutions. In her remarks, the Assistant Undersecretary highlighted Bahrain's commitment to advancing the sustainable development agenda under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
