The Tirumala Srivari Temple is experiencing an huge surge in devotees, with all compartments in the Vaikuntam Queue Complex now filled to capacity. As a result, many devotees are queuing tightly outside the complex, leading to an extended waiting time of approximately 20 hours for Sarva Darshan.
In the last 24 hours alone, the temple welcomed 91,720 visitors, of whom 44,678 offered their hair. The total revenue collected through the Srivari Hundi reached an impressive ₹3.8 crore, according to temple officials.
In response to the heavy influx, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials are ramping up arrangements, including enhanced security measures, water facilities, and the distribution of Anna Prasad.
Given the large crowds, those planning to visit the Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala are advised to prepare accordingly for the expected delays in gaining entry.

Tirumala: In the larger interests of the devotees, a new cottage policy is soon in offing to provide accommodation to the devotees who come to Tirumala, said TTD EO J Syamala Rao. He held a review meeting with the officials on Monday at his Chamber in the TTD Administrative Building along with the Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the EO asked for a new policy to be formulated for the management of cottages in Tirumala. He directed the concerned for a policy blueprint to be prepared so that donors can construct cottages that are convenient for the devotees. At the same time, he suggested preparing a comprehensive report on the privileges of donors, management of facilities provided to donors, management of rooms, beautification, greenery, parking, cottage design, Srivari photo and painting in the cottages, construction of rooms to instill a sense of devotion and many more. The EO suggested that rules should be formulated so that the donors construct the cottages and hand them over to the TTD within the stipulated time, so that the privileges allotted to the donors are not misused and that the selection of donors for the construction of cottages, procedures, responsibilities, etc. are transparent. Similarly, the EO suggested that the construction of cottages should be done on a stable and equitable basis, and the rules should be formulated so that the actions to be taken in case of violation of the rules during construction are clearly assessed in advance. Earlier, TTD Additional EO explained the procedural issues related to the construction of new cottages to the EO. Reception Department Deputy EO Bhaskar and other officials participated in the review meeting.

South Tirupati, July 14 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer J. Syamala Rao today directed officials concerned to take necessary steps for full-scale distribution of Annaprasadam to devotees at the TTD-run Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Vontimitta of Kadapa district. Rao, who conducted a review meeting here along with JEO Veerabrahmam and other officials, recalled that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, during his visit to Vontimitta for the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Kalyanotsavam on April 11, had instructed that Annaprasadam distribution should be organized at Vontimitta on the lines of Tirumala. In line with this directive, the EO instructed the concerned departments to initiate measures to ensure full-fledged food service for devotees. As an interim arrangement, German sheds are currently being used at the temple premises, he said from August onwards, coordinated efforts between the Engineering and Annaprasadam departments should ensure the full setup of Annaprasadam distribution facilities. The EO also directed officials to arrange for all necessary infrastructure, cooking equipment, and sufficient staff to manage the operations. UNI KNR SS
