Katy Perry spotted on a DATE with Canada's former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as pair brush off splits and scandals
The singer, 40, and Trudeau, 53, were filmed dining together in Montreal on Monday at the city's Le Violon restaurant.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the pair leaned over a table towards one another as they intimately chatted.
A smiling Perry was seen gesturing as Trudeau intently listened.
Daily Mail has contacted representatives for comment and has yet to hear back.
Perry shares one daughter Daisy, four, with ex fiance Bloom, 48.
Trudeau shares three children with ex wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, from whom he announced a split in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
Trudeau announced on January 6 that he was stepping down as the Liberal party leader but stayed on as prime minister until his successor was chosen on March 9.
Perry and Bloom began dating in 2016 and got engaged on Valentine's Day 2019.
After the couple were trailed by rumors about the state of their relationship, it was widely reported Wednesday that they have gone their separate ways.
Pouring fuel on the fire, Orlando went alone to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez 's star-studded wedding in Venice, with Katy in Australia on tour.
Orlando shared a cryptic Instagram post about 'loneliness' and 'darkness' this week, while Katy was seen breaking down in tears onstage at her last Australian show.
Now, representatives for the pair have confirmed to DailyMail.com that 'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.'
Last month, a source told Us Weekly: 'Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,' while also adding that the separation has been 'not contentious' thus far.
'Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.'
The Teenage Dream hitmaker - who is currently on her Lifetimes Tour - was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.
The insider further added that the reported breakup had been 'a long time coming' and that their relationship had also been 'tense for months.'
Last month, People claimed Perry's poorly performing album 143 had caused 'tension' in her relationship with her fiancé.
The singer's seventh studio album was released in September 2024 and received a largely negative response from fans and critics alike, who claimed the record sounds as if it was 'generated through AI.'
Perry's career continued to suffer from the backlash of her Blue Origin space trip - with Bloom said to have found the intergalactic mission 'cringe' and 'embarrassing'.

The future of Howard Stern 's 20-year SiriusXM radio show is in jeopardy as the end of his $500million five-year contract looms. Shock jock Stern, 71, has hosted the second incarnation of The Howard Stern Show since 2006, but a show insider confirmed to the Daily Mail that the host is in 'very serious negotiations' with SiriusXM on whether he will renew his contract. Stern's shift from having the most fearsome reputation in American entertainment to being what Kanye West described as an 'irrelevant old man' has been dramatic in recent years and he has faced backlash after admitting he was proudly 'woke'. The insider said: 'He may do a 1-2 year contract if they can meet him where he wants financially. He doesn't want to pull the plug on his employees like this.' A separate source said Stern was considering 'parting ways' with SiriusXM - and that his staff of 'around 95' writers and producers had only recently heard about Stern's indecision over the show's future. The Walking Dead star dies aged 33 following cancer battle as tributes pour in
The Walking Dead actress Kelley Mack has died at the age of 33. Mack passed away on August 2 following a battle with cancer, her family announced on Instagram on Tuesday. Mack had been stricken with glioma of the central nervous system, according to a statement her family shared on CaringBridge. The rising star's most prominent role during her lifetime was as Addy on The Walking Dead's ninth season, which aired from 2018 to 2019. 'It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley,' her family wrote in a post shared to her Instagram account. 'Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go.'
