Man left his bank job to deliver milk in a Rs 50 lakh Audi: The story that's going viral
Faridabad
, a
luxury car
pulling up outside homes isn't unusual. But when a man in casuals steps out of a Rs 50 lakh Audi to deliver milk, it turns heads. That man is Amit Bhadana– a former banker who left his corporate job to join his family's
dairy business
. Today, he delivers fresh milk door-to-door in an
Audi A3 Cabriolet
. What started as a simple delivery job has become a local talking point. Amit's journey from boardrooms to milk runs may seem unusual, but for him, it's a blend of
family tradition
, passion, and a love for doing things differently.
From the corporate world to dairy deliveries
As reported by the Times of India,
Amit Bhadana
didn't plan to leave his banking career– it just happened. Like many others, his life changed when the COVID pandemic hit. He took a break from work and started helping his brother with their family's dairy business. What began as a temporary fix soon turned into something more. As he got involved, he felt a stronger connection to his roots, and what was once a short-term solution became a full-time journey. 'I initially used my 750CC Harley-Davidson for deliveries. But the scorching summer sun made it challenging,' Amit remembers how he first tried doing deliveries on his Harley.

Enter the Audi: The luxury
milkman
Instead of going for a regular delivery van or bike, Amit chose something completely unexpected for his milk runs– his Audi A3 Cabriolet. The Rs 50 lakh convertible, known for its stylish look and foldable roof, became his everyday delivery car. It might seem unusual to use such a fancy car for a simple job, but for Amit, it just felt right.
'The weather-adjustable roof makes all the difference. Now, I can stay on the streets for long, even when the roof is retracted,' he explains, as quoted by TOI. With the Audi, Amit has found the perfect balance between comfort and practicality, allowing him to handle long hours under the sun without compromising on style.
A family tradition at heart
Even with the big career change, Amit has stayed closely connected to his family's dairy roots. According to a TOI report, their farm in Mohatabad village, home to 32 cows and 6 buffaloes, is the heart of the business. His father, Ram Avtar– a retired army man– looks after the farm, while his brothers, Lalit and Raj Singh, handle the daily work.
For Amit, stepping into the dairy business wasn't just about making deliveries– it was about honoring his family's hard work and tradition. 'Every delivery run is like a joyride now. I'm living my passion for luxury vehicles, but honouring our family tradition at the same time,' he says, clearly proud of both his new life and the legacy he's continuing, as quoted by TOI.
Balancing luxury with responsibility
Amit knows driving an Audi comes with a price. Just the fuel costs him about Rs 400 a day– something that might surprise people for a
milk delivery
job. But for him, the joy and experience of it all make it worth every rupee. 'Every delivery run is like a joyride now,' he says, as quoted by TOI. Despite the rising fuel costs, Amit has no intention of downgrading his car or his lifestyle.
Amit's unique delivery method has certainly caught the attention of Faridabad residents. As word spread, more and more people became curious about the man behind the luxury car and his milk deliveries.
A return to the Harley?
According to the report, while Amit's Audi has become a signature part of his daily routine, he's not ready to abandon his roots just yet. 'Come winter, I plan to switch back to my Harley,' he says, hinting that the motorcycle might make a comeback when the weather cools.

Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres chooses Arsenal over Man United in £55m transfer deal
Arsenal are set to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP for £55m plus bonuses after beating Manchester United to secure him. The Swedish striker, who scored 54 goals last season, will become the Gunners' fifth summer signing if the deal is finalised. read more Arsenal are finally set to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP after weeks of intense negotiations and rumours. The Gunners have reportedly beaten Manchester United to secure the Swedish striker for the upcoming season. The transfer saga turned messy when Gyokeres refused to return to pre-season training in Lisbon. He even sent a legal letter to Sporting, claiming that an agreement over his release fee had been broken. Here's how much Gyokeres will get if he moves to Arsenal However, it has now emerged that Arsenal are close to ending the drama after agreeing a deal worth £55 million (over Rs 600 crore) plus £8.6 million (over Rs 95 crore) in bonuses. The 27-year-old is set to sign a five-year contract. According to The Athletic, Gyokeres wanted to join Mikel Arteta's squad and not Man Utd, where his former boss Ruben Amorim is currently placed. He will reportedly join his new teammates on their pre-season tour in Singapore. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD If the deal is finalised, Gyokeres will become Arsenal's fifth signing this summer after Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga. 'You know I cannot comment on any player that is not part of our group yet. When we have something concrete to offer in any case to any player, we will do that,' Arteta was quoted as saying about Gyokeres in Daily Express. More from Football Gyokeres caught attention after scoring 54 goals in 52 matches for Sporting last season. He played a key role in helping Sporting win both the league and cup titles in the 2024-25 season. After leaving Brighton & Hove Albion for around £1m to join Coventry City in 2021, Gyokeres became a key player for the Championship side before sealing a £17m move to Sporting in 2023. He scored 97 goals and provided 28 assists at Sporting in two seasons, helping them win back-to-back league titles and the Taca de Portugal last season. Arsenal, on the other hand, were lacking a natural No. 9, relying mainly on Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus. They will hope that Gyokeres can provide the missing spark to push the team towards a Premier League title this season.

Mumbai: DRI busts racket involved in duty evasion of Rs 30 crore in luxury furniture import; 3 arrested
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Tuesday said that it has busted a racket allegedly involved in Customs duty evasion to the tune of approximately Rs 30 crore in the imports of premium luxury furniture. The agency raided multiple locations in Mumbai and arrested three persons on Monday and Tuesday under provisions of the Customs Act, 1962. According to DRI, it received specific intelligence regarding the import racket. Acting on the intelligence, DRI officials conducted extensive searches across multiple locations, including business premises, warehouses, offices of freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other associated entities. 'The investigation has exposed a complex, intertwined network used for massive undervaluation and misdeclaration of branded luxury furniture operating across multiple jurisdictions, involving the use of dummy importers (IEC holders), local intermediaries, overseas shell entities, and fabricated invoices and related documentation to systematically undervalue branded luxury furniture,' the DRI stated in a statement. The anti-smuggling agency's investigation revealed that the beneficial owner, a well-known luxury furniture brand, was sourcing luxury furniture from reputed Italian and other European brands. However, invoicing was being done in the names of shell companies based in jurisdictions such as Dubai, while the goods were shipped directly from Europe to India. In parallel, fabricated invoices were sent through a Singapore-based intermediary for falsely declaring the goods as unbranded furniture at significantly undervalued rates to Customs for clearance in the name of dummy importers, the DRI said. Once cleared through Customs, the goods were transferred on paper to the intended beneficial owner via a local intermediary created for this purpose, while in reality the goods were directly sent to the beneficial owner or the customer at the direction of the beneficial owner of the whole scam, the central agency added. Preliminary findings indicate a gross undervaluation of 70 to 90 per cent of the actual transaction value, resulting in estimated customs duty evasion of approximately Rs 30 crore. The beneficial owner, the importer (IEC holder), and the intermediary have been found in complicity and close conspiracy with each other for executing the whole modus operandi to evade a huge amount of customs duty, the central agency probe has revealed.

Yogi Adityanaths BIG Gift For Women: Cabinet Approves THIS Much Stamp Duty Exemption For Women
LUCKNOW: In a landmark Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lok Bhawan, the Uttar Pradesh government approved several key proposals aimed at boosting women empowerment, youth digital access, infrastructure, and education. The session cleared a total of 37 proposals and announced the commencement of the Vidhan Sabha's Monsoon Session from August 11. One of the most significant decisions made was the expansion of the stamp duty exemption for women property buyers. Previously limited to properties worth Rs 10 lakh, this exemption has now been extended to properties valued up to Rs 1 crore, offering a 1 per cent reduction in stamp duty. This can translate into savings of up to Rs 1 lakh per property registration in the name of women. State Labour Minister Anil Rajbhar said that this move targets middle-class women, helping them become property owners, boosting their confidence, financial independence, and social respect. The policy complements the Mission Shakti initiative and aligns with the Union Government's recent proposal to reduce stamp duty on property deeds, favouring women. In an effort to enhance digital empowerment among the youth, the Cabinet approved distributing feature-rich tablets under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Sashaktikaran Yojana. The tablets, superior to smartphones in screen size, battery life, and multitasking capabilities, will support education, skill development, and job preparedness. The five-year scheme has a budget allocation of Rs 2,000 crore for the financial year 2025-26 and will be fully funded by the state government without any financial burden on the Centre. The government also sanctioned the construction of the Chitrakoot Link Expressway, a Rs 939.67 crore infrastructure project to be executed via the EPC model. The 15.172-kilometre, initially four-lane expressway will connect Bharatkoop in Chitrakoot to Ahmadganj village, linking the Varanasi-Banda National Highway and NH 135 BG. This expressway is expected to improve regional connectivity and boost tourism in Chitrakoot by providing faster, smoother travel for pilgrims and visitors. The project includes a five-year maintenance period post-construction and is anticipated to generate around 38 lakh man-days of employment. To align technical education with industry standards, the Cabinet approved a Rs 6,935.86 crore project in partnership with Tata Technologies Limited (TTL) to upgrade 121 government polytechnic institutes. TTL will invest Rs 6,034.20 crore, while the state government will contribute Rs 1,063.96 crore plus an additional Rs 858.11 crore for infrastructure and facilities. The initiative will establish Tata Technology Excellence Centres to enhance diploma-level education and skill development. The first phase will focus on upgrading 45 polytechnic institutes as a pilot project. The Cabinet announced that the Monsoon Session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature will begin on August 11. This session will comply with constitutional mandates requiring a maximum six-month gap between sessions. The government plans to present bills to replace ordinances issued after the last session and conduct other vital legislative business.
