Love Island winner reveals they are expecting their first baby in sweet announcement

Daily Mail5 days ago
Love Island star Finley Tapp has revealed he's expecting his first child with his girlfriend Jess Hale.
The reality star, who won the ITV dating show in 2020, took to his Instagram on Saturday and shared the big news with a series of sweet snaps.
In the first snap, Jess can be seen wearing a white top and black joggers as she holds up a strip of baby scan photos.
Another image showed the beaming couple smiling as they proudly displayed the scans together.
A third photo captured a room mid-renovation with the word 'baby' painted on the wall - hinting at preparations already underway for their little one's arrival.
The final picture features three positive pregnancy tests laid out in a row.
Finley penned in the caption: 'We can't wait to meet you! Our hearts are so full.'
Their followers were quick to flood them with messages of love and congratulation.
The couple went public with their relationship last summer, sharing a sweet snap on Instagram.
However, Finn had kept Jess's identity under wraps until June, when her name was subtly revealed.
Fans spotted the clue after Finn shared a link to their joint home renovation Instagram account.
The page follows just five accounts — three businesses and two personal profiles, belonging to Finn and Jess.
Now fully settled into their relationship, the couple have moved into their dream Victorian home and are busy transforming it together.
Finley first rose to fame on Love Island in 2020, where he found romance with then-girlfriend Paige Turley.
They met in South Africa during the first ever installment of the winter series, going on to win the show and bag a £50,000 cash prize.
But interrupted by the spread of Covid-19, they were plunged into life in lockdown upon leaving the villa - spending time in Paige's home county of West Lothian.
They later relocated to Manchester and lived in the city since, sharing a lavish apartment together.
While it was a strain on many relationships, Paige and Finn explained that the Covid-19 restrictions actually benefited them during a chat with MailOnline in 2023.
'Covid helped us because we got to spend that time together without being pulled from pillar to post.
'We had a mad three weeks when we came out before lockdown and the quality time that you spend with each other is quite limited,' shared Finn.
He continued: 'So, I think a good bit of advice is to try and make sure everything that is happening around you doesn't affect you getting that quality time with whoever you come out with'.
But after three years together, the pair split in 2023 and were said to have realised they 'weren't forever', according to claims.
A source told The Sun: 'Paige and Finn had a really good run, but they are still super young and decided it wasn't forever in the end.'

Tomorrowland organisers issue statement on festival's future after fire

A massive fire on Wednesday (16 July) destroyed the main stage of the Tomorrowland music festival in Boom, Belgium, just two days before the event was set to begin. The spectacular main stage, which took two years to construct, was engulfed in flames, with black smoke spreading to nearby woodland, prompting residents to close windows and doors. Despite the significant damage, festival spokesperson Debby Wilmsen confirmed the event will proceed as planned from Friday (18 July), albeit without the main stage. Wilmsen emphasised that safety remains the top priority, stating organisers will comply with authorities' instructions if the site is deemed unsafe for the tens of thousands of expected visitors. No members of the public were present during the fire, but approximately 1,000 staff were on site, and there were no reported injuries.

Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard announce break from ITV's This Morning

This Morning presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard made an announcement just minutes before the show that they will be taking a break Just minutes before the start of This Morning, presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard made an announcement that they'll be taking a break from the show. ‌ The news was revealed towards the end of Lorraine Kelly's eponymous ITV talk show on Thursday (July 17) morning. The Scottish host handed over to the presenting duo, Cat, 48, and Ben, 50, who were preparing to deliver the day's top headlines. ‌ Before giving viewers a sneak peek into what the show had in store, Cat disclosed that they wouldn't be gracing screens for the next few weeks as they take their summer break. ‌ Speaking to viewers at home, Cat declared: "Morning, so it's our last show this morning." Ben chimed in with: "Yes, for the summer." ITV has since unveiled a new line-up of hosts set to fill in on This Morning throughout the summer season, reports the Mirror. In a video shared on its official Instagram account, ITV introduced the incoming presenters through a series of Polaroid photos displayed on a gingham tablecloth. Leading the pack are fan favourites Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who will be hosting the Friday slot. They'll be joined by a star-studded roster of guest presenters including Emma Willis, Rylan Clark, Josie Gibson, Rochelle Humes, Joel Dommett, Craig Doyle, Sian Welby, and Andi Peters. Additionally, Olivia Attwood, former Love Island and TOWIE star, will also be making her debut as a presenter on This Morning. ‌ An enthusiastic announcement from the programme's Instagram page declared: "This summer, get ready for the best staycation ever! Holiday from home as some of our favourite faces come together to entertain you. From sofa to sun lounger, brighten up your mornings with our all-star line-up this summer on This Morning." Predictably, the comments section was awash with reactions as Sian Welby expressed her excitement, writing: "Can't wait." Alison Hammond replied with an upbeat "Yay". ‌ Following her two-year stint on Loose Women, Olivia expressed her delight about her fresh position. She remarked: "It's a huge honour, I've grown up watching this show. "And being a part of the daytime team with Loose Women has been the best experience and this feels very natural." ‌ This development follows ITV's recent revelation of substantial alterations to its daytime programming. Lorraine's programme will now span just 30 minutes, airing from 9:30am to 10am, running on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks annually. Good Morning Britain is also poised for a considerable scheduling shift, broadcasting for three and a half hours regularly and extending to a complete four hours during Lorraine's off-season. Loose Women returns to a 30-week format reminiscent of their pre-2016 arrangement, with these scheduling changes due to take effect from January 2026.

Yet her path to true love in the real world and on-off relationship with boyfriend Cowslick hasn't been smooth either. Just weeks after calling time on their love - due to his reluctance to propose - it seems things are back on. It comes despite the fact she admitted he had "hurt" her and a "more relaxed" girl would suit him better. In a teaser for the next episode of her podcast Sisters In The City with sister Mandi Vakili, aired on TikTok, Mandi teased "the tea" Anna had dropped. Anna then said: "Cowslick is back," seemingly confirming their romance. Mandi admitted: "A lot of madness has happened and the tea has been spilled." Yet fans appeared less than impressed about the reunion. One took to the comments section to post: "I don't wanna hear about it respectfully." One fan urged her to get over him as another put: "Ffs the way she says it with a big smile." Love Island star SPLITS from boyfriend just months after getting back together A third confessed: "I screamed nooo when i was listening to the ep again." One bluntly put: "If this is true, embarrassing." Another mused: "She will never learn." BREAK UP NEWS In March, Anna told the same podcast of her split with Cowslick. 'Yeah basically me and Cowslick have broken up,' Anna said at the time, causing her sister to burst out laughing. 'Why you laughing?' Anna questionned, and her sister responded: 'It's like an announcement. I feel like there's a press conference.' Anna said it felt like 'deja-vu,' and said she felt 'so sad that it'd come to this.' Anna got candid on the podcast and said she wouldn't sit there and slate her ex Cowslick, but confessed he had 'hurt her.' 'I don't think he's a bad person, I just don't think I'm the right girl for him,' she added. Continuing: 'A girl that is more easygoing would suit him.' NEXT STEPS Anna recently posted a photo in a hospital gown, and revealed she'd completed her first round of egg freezing. The star told fans: 'My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner! I was never really that maternal so I went along life not thinking about it. 'Only in the last year it really hit me that I should consider taking some measures to ease some of the pressure that so many women go through when it comes to our fertility clock.' Anna has also opened up on her relationship on the Not My Bagg podcast, while chatting to host Joe Baggs. She said her partner had refused to propose, despite her wanting him to, and explained: 'Some people expect an engagement in about a year or two. 'I left mine because of that. That's the reason why we broke up, it actually went viral on TikTok. "I said 'I'm ready now, what's going on?' I actually mentioned it a year ago as well. I'm not going to wait that long, it's been three and a half years." She reinforced her view when she revealed she had dropped out of the last series of All Stars Love Island at the last minute. She explained that even though she went through the whole process to appear on the ITV2 show - including multiple meetings and STD and drug testing - it wasn't for her again. Looking for serious love, she told fans that she decided against it saying "the kind of man I want to settle down with wouldn't really want a woman that's going on Love Island." 7 She told how the pair had had differences of opinion about when he should propose Credit: Instagram 7 She recently began freezing her eggs Credit: Tiktok
