Elusive former TVB actress Kate Tsui spotted at art museum in Paris
Former Hong Kong actress Kate Tsui has been maintaining a low profile since stepping away from the entertainment industry in late 2019.
At the time, the 45-year-old sold her car and property before pursuing her studies in Europe.
With singer-actor Raymond Lam's recent seven-night concert run at the Hong Kong Coliseum, many netizens hoped for a reunion, fondly recalling Tsui's guest appearance alongside him 15 years ago. However, she remained out of the spotlight.
Lam, 45, even referred to her as a 'missing person, adding: 'I don't know her whereabouts. We haven't kept in touch.'
Although actress Jessica Hsuan is still in contact with Tsui, she has respected her friend's wish for privacy and declined to reveal any details about her current life.
Recently, however, a netizen revealed that they had spotted the elusive former TVB star at an art museum in Paris, casually attired in a white dress and sneakers.
Many noted that she appears to be enjoying the simplicity of a normal life, while others expressed their well wishes despite still missing seeing her on screen.
'She must really love the life of an ordinary person if she's willing to give up her star status,' said one netizen.
'Seeing her so happy, I feel happy too,' another added.
For the record, Tsui made the decision to retire from the entertainment industry at the height of her career, describing it as a very 'passive environment'.
She signed a contract with TVB after being crowned Miss Hong Kong in 2004 and went on to star in dramas like The Brink of Law (2007), Steps (2007), Moonlight Resonance (2008) and more.
On the movie front, Tsui is known for her performances in Eye In The Sky (2007), 14 Blades (2010), Turning Point 2 (2011) and more.

HK Actress Anita Lee Shows Love For Malaysian-Style Curry During Recent Trip To Malaysia
Our local cuisine continues to warm the hearts and stomachs of international celebrities. Recently, during a flight to Malaysia, Hong Kong-Canadian actress Anita Lee Yuen Wah (李婉華) had one Malaysian dish that she couldn't help but praise. The actress recently revealed that she's currently visiting Malaysia for her annual 'durian tour'. According to reports, Anita has been organising 'durian tours' the past couple of years, where she brings a group of friends to Malaysia to enjoy durian during its peak season, usually from June to August. Yesterday (3rd June 2025, Thursday), Anita shared the meal she had on her Malaysia-bound flight, which appeared to be Malaysian chicken curry with white rice. Despite being a simple in-flight meal, the 57-year-old had quite the praise for the dish, saying, 'The meal on the way to Malaysia was so delicious, with Malaysian chicken curry. It's a little spicy, very authentic and delicious!' Anita also revealed that she cleared her curry, adding, 'It's a great start to my trip to Malaysia! Thumbs up!'. In the comments, local fans welcomed the actress to the country, wishing her an enjoyable trip. However, some netizens were shocked to learn that the actress enjoyed the spicy curry. While it may be surprising, this isn't the actress' first encounter with Malaysian food. In fact, Anita is a big fan of our local cuisine, especially curries. Besides frequently travelling to Malaysia for her 'durian tours', the radio host previously promoted the Malaysian spice brand MasFood. She also featured the brand's instant spice paste on her YouTube channel. Just last month, the actress shared a photo of her Malaysian curry, which she made with a MasFood instant curry paste. In her captions, Anita spoke fondly of the dish, writing, 'This Malaysian curry chicken is unbeatable and the sauce is really delicious.' She also shared a recommended method of cooking the dish before adding, 'It tastes like going to Malaysia to eat curry! Not too spicy, just right!' It looks like Anita really loves her Malaysian curry. While she hasn't shared what she has planned for her trip, we hope the actress has her fill of curry and durian while she's in town. Pop star Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom split 6 years after getting engaged
FILE - Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been romantically linked since 2016. Photo: AP Popstar Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom have split, multiple media outlets reported Thursday. Outlets including People and USA Today cited a statement that said the pair "have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting' and would continue to be seen in public with their daughter. The statement, attributed to representatives for both stars, said their priority would be raising their daughter with 'love, stability, and mutual respect.' The statement came a week after reports of the couple's breakup swirled ahead of the wedding of billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos, which Bloom attended alone. Perry has been on a world tour. Representatives for Perry and Bloom did not immediately respond to The Associated Press' request for comment. Perry, 40, and Bloom, 48, have been romantically linked since 2016. The pair split in 2017 but rekindled shortly thereafter, getting engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019, as Perry revealed during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live . In 2020, the pair welcomed a daughter named Daisy Dove Bloom. Perry and Bloom got Unicef to announce the news on its Instagram account. Both are goodwill ambassadors for the United Nations agency that helps children. Bloom and his former wife, Australian model Miranda Kerr, have a son, Flynn, who was born in 2011. Daisy is Perry's only child. Perry, born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, was previously married to comedian Russell Brand. She has released seven studio albums, most notably 2010's sugar-sweet Teenage Dream . The album produced five No.1s that tied a record set by Michael Jackson's 1987 album Bad . Bloom, who is from Canterbury, England, is best known for his roles as the elf Legolas in The Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit films as well as Will Turner in the Pirates Of The Caribbean series. – AP
