Blake Lively shifts her focus to new product launch... after 'losing friend Taylor Swift over Justin Baldoni lawsuit'

Daily Mail04-06-2025

Blake Lively is focusing on her booze line this week.
On Wednesday, the 37-year-old blonde Hollywood pinup announced that Betty Booze is coming out with two vodka iced teas in time for the hot months.
The flavors are Meyer Lemonade and Passion Fruit.
'I come from a Southern family, so iced tea, especially in the summertime is a staple,' the actress told People.
'Sweet tea, passionfruit tea, tea with fresh lemonade … it all feels like relaxation and peaceful times. Enjoying an iced tea is a feeling as much as an experience to me.'
The wife of Ryan Reynolds kicked off her Betty Buzz brand in 2021 with sparkling mixers. In 2023 came Betty Booze with tequila and bourbon.
This comes after news that Blake has lost her friendship with Taylor Swift over her Justin Baldoni lawsuit.
'Vodka felt like the perfect next addition to our 'bar' lineup because of its subtle and popular flavor,' she added, calling the spirit 'an ideal backdrop to both of our yummy new teas.'
And she suggested how fans should drink the beverages.
'I usually think of a barbecue or summer hang outside, even if it's just with one family member,' she said.
'Any time you'd have iced tea or an Arnold Palmer with alcohol is the time you'd have this,' she continued. 'At a party, dinner at home, at a restaurant, wherever is natural to you. I like seeing friends try both and swapping with each other back and forth as they drink. That's how you know they're close.'
Lively then mentioned her Emily Nelson character from the Simple Favor movies.
'Emily had a fabulous wedding in Capri, which is all things lemon,' she said.
'Lemons have a sweet spot for all us Capri superfans. Though I think Emily would spike our [ready-to-drink teas] with much more vodka because ours are nice and subtle, and she is neither nice or subtle. Well sometimes she's nice. But never subtle.'
'These are the recipes I've been making for loved ones for years. But I have 4 kids now. And I'm tired. So here they are in a can. Enjoy. Responsibly…ish,' she said.
Lively allegedly asked Taylor Swift to delete their text messages as part of her ongoing legal battle with actor and director Baldoni.
The actress has been locked in a legal battle for months with 41-year-old filmmaker Justin after accusing him of harassment on the set of their film 'It Ends With Us', and her and Taylor's relationship became entangled in the lawsuit earlier this year.
According to newly filed court documents revealed by Page Six, lawyers representing Justin and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, cite an anonymous source 'who is highly likely to have reliable information', alleging that Blake made the text deletion request to Taylor, 35 – though the exact timing of the apparent conversation was not disclosed.
According to the filing, Justin's legal team further alleged Blake's lead attorney, Michael Gottlieb, had approached Taylor's law firm, Venable, to request a 'statement of support' from the pop star.
The court document claims the request carried an implied threat: 'If Ms. Swift refused to do so, private text messages of a personal nature in Ms Lively's possession would be released.'
Justin's lawyers said a representative for Taylor responded to the alleged threat in a written communication sent directly to Michael.
'It is those communications that the Wayfarer parties seek to obtain by way of subpoena,' the filing reads, referencing an ongoing legal battle over access to Venable's internal correspondence.
The documents allege the communications 'would evidence an attempt to intimidate and coerce a percipient witness in this litigation.'
Taylor has not been accused of any wrongdoing, but she has been subpoenaed as a potential witness in the case.
Michael responded to the allegations by calling them 'categorically false' and 'completely untethered from reality' in a statement to Page Six, adding he 'unequivocally' denied them.
Taylor's publicist also stated the Grammy winner 'was not involved' in the production of the film at the centre of the dispute between Justin and Blake, and had been 'traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.'
Blake and Taylor have been close friends since 2015.
In January, Justin filed a countersuit against Blake, accusing her of defamation and extortion.
In the countersuit, he alleged Blake had invoked Taylor and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as protectors in creative disputes.
'The message could not have been clearer,' Justin's lawyers wrote in the filing.
They added: 'Baldoni was not just dealing with Lively. He was also facing Lively's 'dragons,' two of the most influential and wealthy celebrities in the world, who were not afraid to make things very difficult for him.'

How Brad Pitt really feels about marrying Ines de Ramon as insider reveals he once swore off weddings

Brad Pitt appears to be settling into a blissful life with his 'serious' girlfriend. The actor. 61, who is still battling ex-wife Angeline Jolie over their French vineyard, has publicly embraced his relationship with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, 32. The couple, who began dating in 2022, have been spotted together on red carpets around the world as Pitt promotes his latest film F1, which opened in theaters on Friday. They've reportedly settled into Pitt's $5.5 million Los Angeles mansion, but there are no plans for a walk down the aisle—now or possibly ever. 'He said he won't marry again … never say never, although I would be surprised if they wed,' a source told Page Six, adding that the two are 'serious' about their relationship. 'Generally, he's in a pretty good place,' the insider added. has not received a response to its request for comment from reps for Pitt. 'He's happy and everything is going super well with Ines. She's been really great for him. She's very cool, very relaxed.' Pitt, who has stopped drinking since his very public breakup with Jolie, has benefitted from attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, but has apparently not been able to make amends to the six children he shares with the Oscar winner. Three of the kids, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and Vivienne, 16, have dropped his last name from theirs. 'Most of the kids are over 18, and he hasn't seen them very much,' the source admitted. 'He still loves his kids very much, and it's sad, but how much more pain can one person take?' During their contentious divorce Jolie, 50, accused him of abusing her and two of their kids during a flight from France to the US. Pitt has denied the allegations. 'Brad never said he didn't do anything wrong,' another source told the outlet. 'He was an a–hole on the plane, but nothing was criminal and even the FBI agreed.' 'Angelina truly did not anticipate her standing up to him after the plane incident — that is the craziest thing,' the source said, however Pitt's team has stayed by his side through the bad publicity. 'He's had the same managers and agents for over 30 years and is someone who has loyalty and consistency for people in his life. They have so much love for him. They weren't going to let him go down.' has not received a response to its request for comment from reps for Pitt. At the beginning of his seventh decade Pitt is as handsome as ever after all alleged 'glow up' from Kris Jenner's plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Levine.

Disgraced podcaster and DJ is arrested for ludicrous behavior on air after nude photo scandal

A disgraced podcaster and DJ was arrested on Wednesday after he shamelessly sent a woman's naked photograph to a guest and discussed her body live on-air despite being told by a judge not to have any contact with her or discuss her during broadcasts. Aaron Imholte, 38, was charged with the nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images in April after he was caught sending the promiscuous photos without the woman's consent. He was originally charged with a felony count and pleaded guilty to a lesser charge on April 10. He was released under the conditions that he remain law-abiding, attend his court appearances, maintain contact with his attorney, stay in the state, and stay away from his victim. But Imholte, who hosts a controversial show called the Steel Toe Morning Show on his YouTube account and has built a following in Minnesota, failed to abide to the conditions and was arrested again this week. During the May 27, 2024 episode, he was discussing a woman he knew with a guest named Geno Bisconte, and allegedly sent the photos on-air. A criminal complaint alleging Imholte's jaw-dropping behavior referenced an episode of his show where he engaged in a wildly offensive conversation about a woman's tattoo. Bisconte told the host that he wasn't 'a fan' of tattoos on a a woman's breasts. 'I understand, Gino,' Imholte responded before looking down at his phone, appearing to send something to his guest. The guest then appeared to check his texts and told Imholte: 'I like tattoos more than I think.' 'Your boy didn't do too bad, did he?' Imholte said. The woman reported Imholte to police last July, telling them that she had been communicating with him over the app, Signal, for several months. 'The purpose of the app was to keep things private among each other, and all agreed nothing would be shared to others,' the criminal complaint as seen by Daily Mail read. Imholte had an alleged 'breakdown' in April and began talking negatively about her and sharing details of their relationship on the Steel Toe Morning Show. Police said the woman confirmed she had the tattoo that the men described. Imholte initially told authorities that he couldn't recall if he was sent a nude photo or not. The complaint noted that Imholte talked about the woman multiple times in his podcast. 'Comments made during these live streams are concerning, especially in light of this incident,' the complaint states. He spoke out about the allegations on his show, telling his audience that he was a 'dumb guy' and was in a bad place when he sent the photo. 'When I said, "Boy didn't do too bad, did he?"… That was a guy who was looking for a little validation from a friend. I cannot urge you against something like that more.'" The court heard multiple victim impact statements, and Inholte posted a bail of $100,000. After his arrest, Imholte posted an update on X on Wednesday, writing: 'I'm going to skip a show tonight. Time to rest, recalibrate, and let all bad things die. 'The shows of the last week have been [fire emoji] so let's stick to that theme. Goodnight guys and gals.' He is due back in court on October 2. Daily Mail reached out to Imholte's representation for further comment. Imholte has developed a reputation for himself in Minnesota, finding himself first embroiled in controversy back in 2020 when he resigned for comments about a rival podcast host. While he was a host on WHMH-FM St. Cloud, he called a fellow Minnesota radio host, Heather Lee, a series of shocking insults, including 'fat,' 'a pig,' and 'diabetic.' He also joked that her dogs should eat her, calling her 'lots of meat,' and encouraging his listeners to 'drive this Heather insane.' 'This Heather has the audacity to speak up. No! She will not be allowed to speak up. We will bury her in the ground,' he said. Imholte was also convicted of a misdemeanor charge of harassment and violating a restraining order last August in relation to Heather Lee.

Netflix's Poop Cruise chef disgusts viewers with worst phrase ever to describe carnage on board

Viewers of Netflix 's 'Poop Cruise' reacted with horror as a chef onboard the stranded ship described the clogged toilets on the doomed liner. The revolting documentary had audiences hooked as it covered the disastrous February 2013 voyage of the Carnival Triumph, which experienced an electrical fire on day four that knocked out all power, leading to the vessel being stuck out at sea for five days. What was supposed to be a pleasant four-day trip throughout the Gulf of Mexico quickly turned into a nightmare as the ship was plunged into darkness and toilets and air conditioning stopped working. The crew begged all 4,000 passengers to use red biohazard bags when they had to go number two and pee in the showers so the urine would drain away, but as multiple witnesses attested, many just continued to defecate down unflushable toilets. Fittingly, Abhi, a chef unlucky enough to be working on the Triumph, used a food analogy to paint a picture of what the toilets looked like. 'People were pooping on top of toilet paper, then pooping on top of that. It was layer after layer after layer. It was like a lasagna,' he said. At the end of the documentary, Abhi said he's 'never looked at lasagna the same way'. It's safe to say that Abhi's dreadfully vivid description has turned others off from the classic Italian dish as well. Most people were repulsed by the chef's unfortunately vivid description of the bathrooms 'Thanks for ruining lasagna for me, @netflix,' one person wrote on X. 'My friend was like 'tell me when you get to the lasagna part' and I didn't know what she meant but now I do,' another said. Others could not hold back their revulsion, with one woman writing: 'I'm finna throw up. This man said it was so much s**t and toilet paper in the damn toilets it was like a lasagna.' Others still found Abhi's description hilarious, even impressive. 'The chef has stolen the show,' one wrote, while another said, '2025 has a new Goat [Greatest of All Time].' The documentary was released on Tuesday as an episode in the running Netflix series 'Trainwreck,' which has looked at several different disasters. Past episodes covered the crowd crush at Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival and Woodstock '99, a music festival in upstate New York tainted by sexual violence and inadequate sanitation. Viewers of the 'Poop Cruise' episode were particularly horrified at how quickly social order broke down once it became clear the ship wasn't going anywhere. Passengers on the ship told the show that people were hurling bags of feces, having sex out on the pool deck, and hoarding food once supplies began to run low. Makeshift tent cities sprang up because there was no air conditioning in the ship. People dragged their mattresses out to the top and used their sheets to create shade for themselves. This mad dash led to fights over space on the deck. 'Watching the 'poop cruise' documentary makes me realize how much I don't like people,' one person wrote. Viewers were also irked by the 'privileged' behavior of some passengers. A trio of women on a bachelorette party for their friend, Ashley, drew the wrath of many of those watching as they seemed more interested in getting drunk and continuing their celebrations even as anarchy washed over the entire ship. '(They) HAVE to know how absolutely annoying and obnoxious they look in this documentary. Don't care about anything else besides getting a Margarita,' one person wrote. 'Tweedle dee. Tweedle dumb. And tweedle dumber.' One person compared the frenzied actions of the passengers to how Fyre Festival attendees responded when they found out the event was a complete fraud. 'I'm a bit embarrassed to say I enjoyed the same righteous indignation watching the #poopcruise as I did watching the #FyreFestival debacle,' someone said. 'Watching entitled, not-too-smart people go off the rails when there is no danger, but merely discomfort, is a #guiltypleasure.' Toilets onboard the ship began to fill up with feces as sewage spilled into rooms and hallways. Sheets tried to soak it up When it came to the crew's request for people to poop in bags, viewers were outraged that some passengers felt they were above doing that, which included Devin Marble (pictured) People reacted with frustration at the perceived privilege of many of the passengers interviewed for the documentary When it came to the crew's request for people to poop in bags, viewers were outraged that some passengers felt they were above doing that. This, of course, led to toilets overflowing onto the decks and creating a stench so horrific that people reported being unable to stand being in the interior of the ship. Devin Marble, who was on the ship with his newly-minted fiancé and his soon-to-be-in-laws, was one passenger who absolutely refused to use the bags provided. He instead found a lone bathroom that was able to flush when the ship tilted. 'This carnival poop cruise documentary is mostly a display of how f***ing privileged most people are. "I'm not pooping in a baaaag." I hate these people,' one person wrote. 'Watched the poop cruise doco on Netflix and they're all the most obnoxious annoying people you could possibly imagine,' another person wrote. 'Stoked they all got stuck on a s**t boat s****ing in bags and covered in s**t. Insufferable humans.' 'Omg these 'poop cruise' people y'all are the most spoiled people I have ever met acting like being stranded for 4 days was the end of the world knowing u would be saved eventually,' a third person said. Passengers made help signs, drew on robes and bedsheets to document the disaster. Food started to run out onboard and people were left eating grim-looking meals like this bread with mustard and slivers of ham Help finally arrived for them on Valentine's Day - February 14, 2013. Tug boats ushered the floundering ship for the Gulf to a nearby port in Mobile, Alabama, miles away from the cruise's original docking point. In a statement to Daily Mail Carnival said: 'The Carnival Triumph incident over 12 years ago was a teachable moment for the entire cruise industry. 'A thorough investigation following the incident revealed a design vulnerability which was corrected and led Carnival Cruise Line to invest more than $500 million across our entire fleet in comprehensive fire prevention and suppression, improved redundancy, and enhanced management systems, all in support of our commitment to robust safety standards. 'This is in addition to our vigorous Health, Environmental, Safety and Security (HESS) protocols that guide the entire Carnival Corporation fleet as we maintain our commitment to industry leadership in this area. 'We are proud of the fact that since 2013 over 53 million guests have enjoyed safe and memorable vacations with us, and we will continue to operate to these high standards. 'Carnival Triumph, like two other ships in the same class, was renamed after a $200 million bow-to-stern transformation.
