From 28 June to 10 August 2025 the exclusive 'Train Your Velociraptor' street show will take place at 12:30pm, 3:30pm and 5:30pm where you will see prehistoric creatures come to life in front of your very own eyes.
Located next to Strathclyde Country Park, M&D's Scotland's Theme Park is one of Scotland's top visitor attractions. The Theme Park has up to 40 rides and attractions to suit every age – from toddler-friendly rides to white-knuckle thrill rides.
There's also Amazonia, Scotland's only indoor tropical rainforest packed with exotic animals and plants, Devil's Island Adventure Golf, Cosmic Bowl, a ten-pin bowling alley, and Krazy Congo Soft Play. There are also many food outlets to enjoy, from snacks to restaurant meals, including the award-winning American-themed diner, Monterey Jack's.

The voucher is for two free 'ride all day' wristbands only on the following dates: June 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29, 30. July 1-6 2025. The wristbands allow all day access to over 40 theme park rides. New bus service introduced to M&D's Scotland's Theme Park
M&D's Scotland's Theme Park has teamed up with First Bus to provide a dedicated local bus service to and from the Theme Park this summer! Lanarkshire residents can take advantage of a new First Bus service 247 to the Theme Park which will pick up and drop off at various points including Hamilton Bus Station, Motherwell and Bellshill.
The 247 First Bus service will run from 28th June until 12th August daily.

MEXICO CITY — A protest by hundreds against gentrification and mass tourism that began peacefully Friday in Mexico City neighborhoods popular with tourists turned violent when a small number of people began smashing storefronts and harassing foreigners. Masked protesters smashed through the windows and looted high-end businesses in the touristic areas of Condesa and Roma, and screamed at tourists in the area. Graffiti on glass shattered glass being smashed through with rocks read: 'get out of Mexico.' Protesters held signs reading 'gringos, stop stealing our home' and demanding local legislation to better regulate tourism levels and stricter housing laws. Marchers then continued on to protest outside the U.S. Embassy and chanted inside the city's metro system. Police reinforcements gathered outside the Embassy building as police sirens rung out in the city center Friday evening. It marked a violent end to a more peaceful march throughout the day calling out against masses of mostly American tourists who have flooded into Mexico's capital in recent years. Tension had been mounting in the city since U.S. 'digital nomads' flocked to Mexico City in 2020, many to escape coronavirus lockdowns in the U.S. or to take advantage of cheaper rent prices in the Latin American city. Since then, rents have soared and locals have increasingly gotten pushed out of their neighborhoods, particularly areas like Condesa and Roma, lush areas packed with coffee shops and restaurants. Michelle Castro, a 19-year-old college student, was among the flocks of people protesting. She said that she's from the city's working class city center, and that she's watched slowly as apartment buildings have been turned into housing for tourists. 'Mexico City is going through a transformation,' she said. 'There are a lot of foreigners, namely Americans, coming to live here. Many say it's xenophobia, but it's not. It's just that so many foreigners come here, rents are skyrocketing because of Airbnb. Rents are so high that some people can't even pay anymore.' The Mexico City protest follows others in European cities like Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and Rome against mass tourism.

'Oasis mania led me to my hubby - our wedding guests were baffled by our theme'
An Oasis superfan who has been to more than 20 Liam and Noel Gallagher gigs costing her thousands reveals why she's 'mad fer it' and can't wait to see the Mancunian megastars once more A mum of two says not only could she be the world 's number one Oasis fan - but she probably wouldn't have clicked with her hubby if it wasn't for their shared love of the band. Sian Downes, 36 of Hawick in Roxburghshire, Scotland, has seen Liam and Noel Gallagher play 20 times (together and separately), and has the Britpop band to thank for clicking with her 'mad fer it' hubby who is just as infatuated with them as she is. It must have been written in the stars because Sian is now married to Mark who she met on Tinder and they have two children together. "I met my hubby on Tinder, we both had Oasis in our profile, and we both feel incredibly lucky to have found someone who is such a fan," she tells The Mirror. The couple bonded after hubby Mark asked her if she preferred Liam or Noel because he'd read her declaration of love for the band on her profile. Sian wrote him an essay in response and was surprised to find that, not only did Mark not run a mile, but he was also in a Noel Gallagher cover band. When they got married six years later they had an Oasis-themed wedding and decorated their house in the band's merchandise. Sian even tracked down an exclusive replica of Noel's Riviera guitar as a wedding present for her new hubby. "I've always loved the lyric 'all your drinks are made of Strawberry Lemonade,' so when I started thinking about doing my own thing I always knew it would be centred around that," she adds. "I thought maybe a wedding blog, maybe I would be a wedding planner but I finally settled on being a corporate events agency called Strawberry Lemonade Events. "Our tag line is 'Events Made Sweeter' because behind all this we are actually a social enterprise where we help people facing social exclusion get into work. So that adds the sweetness.' Oasis have been a huge part of Sian's adult life but it was decades earlier that her love for the band first started to unfold. 'I was probably about nine when I got into them,' she recalls. 'I had the greatest hits of 1998 album, they featured on that, and I was hooked. "I love the great music and the songs you can lose your mind and your voice to. It's the perfect balance of rock 'n' roll and beautiful lyrics. I've been to see them around 20 times - separately and together - but this reunion gig will be special because it just never ever seemed like it could happen. "And the fact that every brand under the sun wants in on the action - Land Rover, Adidas, Levi - I've even seen Gusto giving away free lasagne which shows what a huge monent in pop culture this is. 'I'm hosting a pop up in Edinburgh to tie in with their gigs there. I've partnered with a local bar to mark the occasion, where we'll have photo opps and will be hosting our own chat show. Some semi-famous Scottish folks will be coming down to have a pint and chat about their love for the band. I am actually emotional about the whole thing and am beside myself with excitement."
