CM to hold review meeting today
During his trip, the Chief Minister is scheduled to conduct a field inspection at the main venue from Kalimata temple to The Park Hotel junction, including a contingent venue set up at the Andhra University Engineering College ground.
Later, the Chief Minister will review preparedness for the International Yoga Day event.
Naidu will hold a meeting at 4 pm with the party cadre at the Vizag Convention Centre before returning to Vijayawada in the evening.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister is scheduled to visit TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao's residence to express his condolences to former MLA Palla Simhachalam's family members.
With big plans in place for the IYD celebrations in the city, the district administration is making elaborate arrangements to involve 5 lakh participants on the occasion along the beach stretch designated for the purpose.
Along with participants, a number of yoga trainers will also attend the event. More than 125 compartments have been facilitated for the event.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that 21.86 lakh new pattadar passbooks will be issued in the first phase from August and regularisation of unobjectionable government lands completed by the end of 2025. Addressing a review meeting on the Revenue Department on Friday, Mr. Naidu ordered that due priority be accorded to solving the problems that arose during the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) regime. Besides, the re-survey should be completed by the end of 2027, he added. Mr. Naidu said 17,600 revenue grievance meetings had been organised after the coalition government was formed, and of the 1.85 lakh petitions received, 1,84,332 were resolved. Out of 1.93 lakh auto-mutation applications, 1.77 lakh were processed, and a special drive was underway to resolve the pending ones. GoM meet on July 9 The Chief Minister told the officials to explain the legal complications in land matters to the affected parties so that amicable settlements could be reached. The Group of Ministers (GoM) would meet on July 9 to discuss the regularisation of freehold lands in order to reach a final resolution by October 2025. Mr. Naidu instructed the officials to bring out a new Revenue Manual, comprising all policies and by August, and that QR codes should be printed on the pattadar passbooks. As on date, 99,390 applications were received for house sites, which required an allotment of 2,051 acres under the Housing-for-All scheme. As per the manifesto, two cents should be acquired per beneficiary in towns and three cents in villages. The grievances received at the revenue meetings should be audited by private teams, he said, and asked the officials to retain the surveyors in the ward / village secretariats until the re-survey was completed. The exercise to repeal the A.P. Non-Agricultural Lands Assessment Act must be completed and a report submitted to the Cabinet at the earliest, the Chief Minister said. Mr. Naidu suggested that the Revenue Department provide a visual interface on the land portal so that ownership and boundary details would be displayed clearly. YSRCP demands PR certificates for Foreign Medical Graduates in Andhra Pradesh
The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has demanded the immediate issuance of Permanent Registration (PR) certificates to Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) in Andhra Pradesh and called for the withdrawal of police cases filed against the protesting students. A YSRCP delegation, including former minister and YSRCP Medical Wing president Seediri Appalaraju, former MLAs Gopireddy Srinivasa Reddy and Monditoka Jagan Mohan Rao, and other party leaders, submitted a memorandum to the medical college officials, urging swift redressal of FMG grievances, here on Friday. Later, addressing the media, Dr. Appalaraju said the delegation visited the students on the instructions of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to express solidarity and press for justice. He criticised the government's 'unjust and harsh treatment' of students who had completed a 54-month foreign medical course, cleared mandatory exams, completed internships abroad and in India, and fulfilled all eligibility criteria. 'Despite meeting all the requirements, the government continues to deny PR on flimsy grounds, unlike in States like Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu,' Dr. Appalaraju said. He rejected the State's justification regarding online classes during COVID, noting that compensatory and in-person internships had already been completed. The YSRCP leaders condemned the use of police force on peacefully protesting students and demanded that all related cases be dropped. They contrasted Mr. Jagan's efforts to strengthen public healthcare by establishing 17 new medical colleges with former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's alleged neglect, citing Mr. Naidu's refusal to accept 2,550 medical seats sanctioned by the Centre. They alleged that Mr. Naidu's policies had pushed thousands of students to study abroad and that the current coalition government is now denying them a fair chance to practise in India. The YSRCP urged the State government to stop penalising qualified students and act immediately to safeguard their futures.

I&PR Minister highlights welfare schemes launched by Andhra Pradesh government during his visit to Eluru district
As part of the 'First Step Towards Good Governance – TDP to every household' initiative, Minister for Housing and Information and Public Relations Kolusu Parthasarathy visited Velpucharla and Balive villages in Musunuru Mandal of Eluru district on Friday. Highlighting the government's achievements, the Minister said the coalition is implementing the P-4 policy with guidance from the party leadership to eliminate poverty. Under the 'Super Six' schemes, benefits are reaching the poor and middle class, bringing smiles to every household. The 'Annadata Sukhibhava' scheme will be formally launched by the end of the month, providing ₹20,000 annually to each farmer. He also approved six new road works in response to local requests and directed officials to resolve public issues promptly. Mr. Parthasarathy criticised the previous government for plunging the State into debt and failing to generate revenue. In contrast, he said, the current administration is attracting ₹6.5 lakh crore in investments and aims to create 20 lakh jobs in four years. Schemes like free bus travel for women from August 15, three free LPG cylinders annually, and monthly pensions of ₹15,000 exemplify Mr. Chandrababu Naidu's commitment to welfare and good governance, he added.
