Don't Say You Love Me teaser: BTS' Jin reunites with Shin Se-Kyung as lost lovers grappling with heartbreak
Amid reports of BTS members — V, Jimin, RM, Jungkook, Suga, Jin, and J-Hope — reuniting in July this year, Jin has made a solo comeback and shared the teaser for his much-anticipated single 'Don't Say You Love Me.' The singer is seen in his 'boyfriend mode', and by the looks of it, the song appears to be about reuniting with a long-lost love. The teaser also features actor Shin Se-Kyung, known for her roles in projects like The Bride of Habaek, Black Knight, Arthdal Chronicles, Captivating the King, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung, Blade Man, and more.
The teaser shows Jin walking through a shopping complex casually before stopping and staring at a person in front of him. Shin Se-Kyung, who is standing opposite Jin, also stops and looks back at him, possibly reminded of their lost love. Suddenly, the crowd around them disappears, and the two are seen standing alone on the bridge of the complex, staring at each other as a soft piano tune plays in the background. According to Big Hit Music, 'Don't Say You Love Me' deals with the excruciating pain of two lovers unable to let go of each other at the end of their relationship.
Jin's second album Echo all set for release
'Don't Say You Love Me' is the title track of Jin's second solo album Echo, which will release on May 16. He earlier released his first solo album Happy in August 2024. Jin's agency shared the singer's inspiration behind Echo. They released a statement that read, 'Aiming to connect on a deeper level with fans through music, Echo offers Jin's perspective on universal life experiences, capturing everyday emotions with warmth and sincerity… Built on dynamic band sounds, the album showcases his versatile vocals across a spectrum of moods and styles… It reflects a deeper layer of vocal maturity and personal storytelling that underscores Jin's evolving artistry.'
Earlier, J-Hope had hinted at BTS' reunion in July this year. Since most members of the boy band have completed their compulsory military training, and the rest are set to conclude it in June, the band members will be ready to come together in July. It is also rumoured that they will go on a world tour. 'We will quickly get together and talk about what BTS can do in the future. I think it's going to be a massive energy,' J-Hope had said.

'K-pop Demon Hunters' Saja Boys x BTS? Creators tease possible collab
Since its release on June 20, Netflix's animated film K-pop Demon Hunters has got everyone talking. The vibrant mix of K-pop glamour, supernatural action, and high-energy music got fans hooked. With dazzling visuals and an action-packed narrative, the film has left audiences thrilled - and hungry for more. As anticipation grows, calls for a sequel have already begun. In response, directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans have shared insights into the film's origins - and revealed that BTS played a key role in sparking its creation. The origin of 'K-pop Demon Hunters' Chris Appelhans revealed that the idea for the film was born during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic. "Maggie and I began planning this film during the pandemic—a time when people all over the world were struggling to feel connected. Then BTS held an online concert, and suddenly millions of people, including us, were singing and dancing to Dynamite from our homes. For a moment, the world felt a little brighter." Appelhans added: "Through the characters' journeys and the songs they sing, I hope viewers can feel even a fraction of the joy and light BTS gave us during that time." 'K-pop Demon Hunters' story At the heart of the film is HUNTR/X, a rising K-pop girl group consisting of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. By day, they dazzle the world as idols under bright lights and infectious pop beats - but by night, they take on a secret role as demon hunters, protecting the human world from malevolent spirits that slip between realms. Standing in their way are the Saja Boys, a mysterious and powerful group with deep-rooted connections to the spirit world. As the two forces collide, the story unfolds into a high-stakes showdown that stretches far beyond choreography and fame - blending supernatural action, K-pop culture, and emotional depth into a vivid and fantastical adventure Saja Boys and BTS: A dream collab? Recently, it was reported that BTS and the fictional Saja Boys are the only K-pop boy groups to reach the Top 10 on the US Spotify Chart. BTS have been on hiatus since 2022, and no other group had achieved this milestone - until now, when it took an animated boy group to become the second to do so. Reacting to the news, Maggie Kang took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote: "Hey ARMY, how about a collab with Saja Boys? The Pride is ready @bts_bighit." Hey Army, how about a collab with Saja Boys? BTS' Jin says 'no spoilers' as V and J-Hope get spotted at Run Seokjin Tour's Goyang concert rehearsals
BTS member Jin is set to embark on his debut solo world tour, with two nights in South Korea's Goyang Auxiliary Stadium on June 28 and 29. The weekend shows have generated immense hype online. With just a few hours remaining for the Saturday concert's commencement, fans are abuzz with speculations regarding J-Hope and V's surprise acts in one or both of the days. Will V and J-Hope join Jin in Goyang concert of RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR? A day ahead of Jin's Goyang concert, the artists held a stage rehearsal at the venue. During then, several fans gathered outside the stadium to hear him sing and get glances of him at the giant screen. During then, they allegedly spotted Kim Taehyung aka V and J-Hope on the screen and even heard their voices. As Jin hummed his songs, V and J-Hope were faintly heard saying something to him. Although the voices did seem like that of Jin's BTS teammates, the limited peeks couldn't confirm their identities. However, the possibility of them being V and J-Hope was enough to make fans go gaga. Jin's directive to BTS ARMY after the end of Goyang concert rehearsals As the stage rehearsals at Goyang Auxiliary Stadium concluded, Jin took to Weverse to ask the live viewers not to share their experience with other fans. He wrote, "ARMYs See you tomorrow. Rehearsal is over. For those who watched the rehearsal from far away, no spoilers." It further fueled the rumors of the two mystery men spotted on the screen being V and J-Hope. Although the Running Wild singer asked the fans not to spoil the concert deets ahead of the show, BTS ARMY recorded bits of the session and shared it online. With that, social media flooded with curious questions regarding whether RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR will be V's first stage act following military discharge. Earlier, V also teased something "big" coming up for him and that might be his appearance in Jin's concert. As for J-Hope, the fact that Jin made a surprise appearance at J-Hope's Goyang encore stage for HOPE ON THE STAGE FINAL makes it all the more possible for the roles to get switched this time.
