2025 GMC Canyon AT4X AEV Edition Gallery: See GMC's Premium Off-Road Brawler in Photos

The 2025 GMC Canyon AT4X AEV Edition is built to handle the rough stuff, but it looks sharp doing it. With its wide, planted stance, bold grille, and no-nonsense detailing, it shows up ready for the trail. Let's take a look at what makes it stand out.
The front of the 2025 GMC Canyon AT4X commands attention with a bold grille that asserts the truck's presence on the trail. Sharp LED headlights frame it, giving a modern, aggressive look.
The AEV Edition (American Expedition Vehicles Edition) is a specialized package that upgrades the AT4X with distinct, branded steel bumpers, robust skid plates, unique wheels, and specific badging, among other off-road features.
Its factory lift provides increased ground clearance and 17-inch wheels with 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler mud-terrain tires for superior traction and durability. Dark fender flares protect the body while accommodating the larger tires.
A closer look at the truck's wheels-they are AEV-exclusive, finished in gloss black, and beadlock capable.
The AT4X AEV Edition rides on Multimatic DSSV spool-valve dampers. Instead of basic shims, these use precision spool valves to adapt on the fly. On the road, this allows the truck to feel surprisingly refined; off-road, it soaks up big hits like a champ.
The truck comes loaded with an advanced camera offering a 360-degree bird's-eye view with up to ten different angles and even underbody cameras that let you play your own spotter off-road. There's Hitch View and Hitch Guidance for towing, and it's all run through the large touchscreen with wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, and Google built-in.
From the plush upholstery accented with contrasting stitching to the red-trimmed air vent and "AT4X" branding that reinforces its top-tier off-road pedigree, the truck's interior successfully strikes a balance between luxurious design and rugged functionality.
The dash layout feels purpose-built with an 11.3-inch touchscreen and a crisp 8-inch digital gauge display front and center. The multi-function steering wheel gives you easy access to key controls without taking your hands off the wheel or eyes off the road. It's all angled toward the driver in a way that actually makes sense.
All Canyons, including the AT4X EV Edition, feature a turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four engine, delivering a more than respectable 310 horses and 430 pound-ft of torque. It mates with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
All Canyon trims come with a four-door cab and a 5.5-foot bed, with your choice of rear- or four-wheel drive. Towing tops out at a best-in-class 7,700 pounds.

Google Wallet gets a fresh coat of Material 3 Expressive with latest Play System update

Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority TL;DR Google Wallet is getting a new design that adopts Google's Material 3 Expressive aesthetic. The update is now rolling out widely, and Google has also made it official in its latest Play System update. With the update, Google Wallet has a more modern layout, with new icons, rounded rectangle containers, fresh buttons, and more. Google is officially rolling out a new Google Wallet experience with the latest Play System update (version 25.25). The redesign brings elements from Google's Material 3 Expressive design language to Google Wallet, freshening up its look with a more modern aesthetic. Some folks spotted Google Wallet's Material 3 Expressive makeover last week, but Google is now rolling it out more widely on version 25.24.772650276 of the app. With the update, Google Wallet now has new icons and rounded rectangle containers that are a trademark of the Material 3 Expressive look. You'll also notice a new Google Wallet logo in the top left corner of the app instead of the 'Wallet' text. Buttons are also getting a bit of an update, and you'll now notice a more minimalistic '+' FAB (floating action button) instead of the 'Add to Wallet' button. Nothing much is changing in terms of functionality, so you don't have to relearn how to use the app. The new design may make it more intuitive and pleasurable to use. Google Wallet isn't the only app the company is updating with the new design. We recently spotted Material 3 Expressive changes in Gmail, while Google's Phone app also just received its expressive update. In fact, all Google apps are due to get an expressive refresh sooner or later.

Google is working on a new Gemini logo with familiar colors

Just when we thought Gemini couldn't be Google-fied anymore, the Mountain View, California-based company succeeded in surprising us. Soon after the tech giant began rolling out Song Search on the Android Gemini app, paired with support for Scheduled Actions, it now seems to be giving the Gemini app and its logo a more Google-esque look. The app's familiar blue and purple tone, which can be observed across instances of the Gemini branding, is in the midst of being replaced with a more colorful hue — one that looks similar to Google Assistants signature multicolored branding. Hints about the redesign were spotted in the latest Google app beta build (version beta) by the folks over at Android Authority, surfacing Google's well-known color palette across the app's UI. Old, new, old, new The change was observed in the app's splash screen, which highlights an animated red, yellow, green, and blue Gemini logo for a brief second when you open a new instance of the app. Similarly, the logo on the onboarding screen appears in the same Google-themed colors, as seen in the screenshots above. Eagle-eyed users would have also spotted the lack of blue and purple on the "Get to know Gemini, your AI assistant" text at the top. The change also makes its way to the Gemini logo that appears above the AI tool's responses. These aren't huge changes by any means, and won't change the way users utilize Gemini. However, the refresh does make the experience feel a little more aligned and consistent with Google's overall brand identity. For what it's worth, these changes were manually enabled, and they won't surface for you in the beta build of the app just yet. The changes will likely make their way out widely with a future update, which might happen around the time when Google Assistant is fully phased out later this year.
