Has Trisha Paytas Named Her Baby Aquaman?
Forget 'Liam' or 'Oliver' – Trisha Paytas has named her son Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon. Why have a baby when you can birth a DC Comics superhero?
Trisha debuted the name on her Just Trish podcast with a superhero-style shirt reveal, unzipping her jacket to show a bedazzled Aquaman t-shirt. She went on to explain that the name was 'so perfect' for their newborn son, combining both her love for Jason Momoa's superhero, as well as her husband Moses' love of water.
Having been a fan of the Aquaman movies since 2017, Trisha explained, 'I've been wearing Aquaman t-shirts for years, I've gone to so many comic-cons for Aquaman, and I really fell in love when we rewatched Aquaman . We watched all the Aquamans , I watched the cartoon, I was watching everything.
'I know it was the right name because when we went to the doctor for a follow up last week, it was a different doctor than our doctor, and they had this poster in their doctor's office. It was crazy.'
It all boils down to two key themes: movie posters and water.
When choosing a name, Trisha revealed to fans that they were looking to follow a similar theme to their two daughters - Malibu Barbie, two, and Elvis, one.
Explaining they wanted to stick with the film theme, Trisha said, 'I was like, we have to have a movie poster because we had the Barbie poster and the Elvis poster. We have to have another iconic name poster up in our house!'
Adding that water was also important to them, Trisha continued, 'Cancer [the baby's star sign] is a water sign. Moses loves water. So then we're like, okay, we need to think of water themed. So then thinking water-themed movies, it just became like, Titanic.'
In their long journey to Aquaman, Trisha said some strong contenders were 'Water Snake' after a poem written by Moses, as well as 'Waterworld' after Kevin Costner's 1995 film.
Following her hints, fans took to social media to throw in their guesses. Popular theories included Atlantis, Ponyo, Avatar, Stitch, and Luca. Given one of the hint Trisha gave was that it would be a gender neutral name, Aquaman wasn't entirely top of everyone's lists - but some fans did guess correctly.
Trisha has confirmed that Aquaman will be the family's 'final baby, for sure.' Giving birth via a difficult C-section, Trisha explained on her podcast, 'This was the most chaotic, traumatising birth of my life. I actually thought I was going to die - I was like, I don't know if I can handle this. For me personally, three C-sections was too many - my age, all that stuff considered. I did get my tubes out, which I'm very happy.'
The influencer continued, 'It was mostly for health reasons because the C-section was a little scary and dangerous. The doctors tell you all the time you could feel regret because it's irreversible, but it was my choice and it was for my health. You don't have to ask if there's baby number four coming. And the only reason I say that is because I truly feel so good about the decision.'
Trisha's unusual baby name choice has caused quite a stir on social media - and naturally, fans have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts on their latest bundle of joy. ''Atlantis was too out there,' Trisha says before announcing her baby's name is Aquaman Paytas-Hacmon,' one wrote.
Another added, 'Trisha named her kids Aquaman, Elvis, and Malibu Barbie… She's over there playing The Sims.'
One fan also questioned whether Trisha - who has been in the spotlight for almost two decades - could be using monikers for online. 'I genuinely believe Trisha Paytas's kids aren't named what she says they are. Maybe her names are just hints of what the real names are? Malibu = Malu. Elvis = Presley. Aquaman = Jason,' they explained.
Either way, we're glad to see both Trisha and her baby happy and healthy. Welcome to the world, baby Aquaman!

Antiques Roadshow expert shares huge value of Titanic letter but guest refuses to sell
Antiques Roadshow expert Hilary Kay met with a guest whose father Sidney Daniels was hired to work on the Titanic as a plate washer at the age of 18 Antiques Roadshow's Hilary Kay had an emotional encounter with a guest whose father, Sidney Daniels, was employed as a plate washer on the Titanic at just 18 years old. Sidney was one of the survivors of the tragic sinking, and his daughter brought along a poignant letter he penned to the beloved BBC series. She recounted: "It was a Sunday, he was sound asleep, there was a banging and shouting and it was the night watchman. They were all a bit bleary-eyed because at first they thought it was a drill. "It wasn't until he got up on deck, there were hardly any people around at first and then officers came and turned to him and said, 'Go to these cabins.' Of course it was hard to wake people, they were asleep. "Some reacted in different ways. One or two said 'What does this young man know? He's 18, the boat is unsinkable. We're not going up on deck.' Others were saying, 'We've got children, they're going to get a chill if they go up on deck.' So he helped the children with the lifejackets and ushered them up on deck." Hilary reflected on the harrowing event, adding: "You can imagine the scene of chaos and despair because people realised there weren't enough lifeboats." Relaying the harrowing tale of survival, one of Sidney's kin recounted: "That was his job, to try and get people into the lifeboats and the water was rising all of the time. When all the lifeboats had gone, the water was up around his knees and he thought, 'It's time to go.' So he dived off the side of the boat, swam away from it, came to a lifebelt and to my Dad's mind, it was too close to the boat, he was afraid when the boat went down, the suction would take them down so he said to this chap, 'It's no good here, let's swim away.'". They continued with the gripping narrative: "Apparently this chap followed him and they just kept swimming. He said he saw a star in the sky which he thought was his mother and swam towards this star and eventually came to this life raft which was upside down and managed to cling onto that." The story took an emotional turn as they shared: "When he was on there, he said, 'I'm tired, I want to go to sleep,' and the chap next to him said, 'Don't go to sleep lad, if you do, it will be your last.' So they sat there singing hymns trying to pass the time away." Accompanying their visit, the relatives brought a poignant piece of history - a letter from Sidney's uniform pocket as he leapt from the Titanic, reports the Express. Expert Hilary weighed in on the artefact's significance and value: "It's an extraordinary item and anything related to Titanic has this extraordinary affect on people. It is an extraordinary moment to behold something which is so linked into an extraordinary moment in history." She estimated it's worth: "We're talking about around £10,000, is the realistic value." Upon hearing the valuation, the guest firmly stated: "It's very nice but it's not going out the family, it's going to a museum." Antiques Roadshow is broadcast on Sundays at 8.15pm on BBC One.
