WWE wrestler Dominik Mysterio hit back at CM Punk over the latter's comments about the storyline relationship between Dominik and Rhea Ripley exposing the business as fake.
Punk had opined that people would find it difficult to warm up to the pairing considering Ripley looks like a 'Greek Goddess', while Dominik, 'a nerd'.
'Dude, one time they wanted her to be in a relationship with Dominik Mysterio," Punk said on WWE's new behind the scenes show Unreal.
'Stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life," Ripley interjected.
'Who is going to believe that?" Punk continued.
'Hey, everybody, here is a Greek goddess of a woman here and she's with this f****** nerd," he joked.
'C'mon. That exposes the business as fake more than anything we are going to do on Netflix, because who is going to believe that b*******?" the wrestler stated.
Dominik rebuttal came in swift fashion as he stated that Punk's unsuccessful stints outside the sport-entertainment business was more of a threat to the business.
'Nothing kills the business more than someone thinking they are actually good enough to go fight in the UFC and get their ass beat not once but twice," Dominik, the son of the legendary Rey Mysterio said.
'If you want to talk about 'nothing kills the business more,' just go watch CM Punk's fights in the UFC," he continued.
'You tell me what kills the business more. Let me call my friend Mickey Gall real quick and see what he thinks," Dominik added.
Punk got the better of Gunther to clinch the World Heavyweight Championship on Day 1 of WWE Summerslam on Sunday, but his joy was shortlived as Seth Rollins' perfectly orchestrated ruse helped him successfully cash in his Money In The Bank title in dramatic fashion as he levelled Punk in amatter of seconds.

NCRTC announces winners of Namo Bharat short film contest
Agency: PTI New Delhi, Aug 5 (PTI) The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) on Tuesday announced the winners of the Namo Bharat Short Film-Making Competition, aimed at showcasing India's first regional rail system through the lens of young filmmakers. The contest, launched in December 2024, invited entries from college students, independent filmmakers and aspiring content creators across the country. 'Participants were encouraged to treat Namo Bharat trains and stations as part of the story's environment, not just the subject," a statement from NCRTC said. Over 80 story submissions were received from across states, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. 'Of these, 30 eligible teams were shortlisted and invited to shoot at select Namo Bharat stations and onboard trainsets," it added. An independent jury reviewed the final films for storytelling, originality and effective integration of infrastructure. 'Cash prizes of Rs 1.5 lakh, Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 were awarded to the top three winners," it stated. Select entries may also be featured on the corporation's digital platforms to give greater visibility to the filmmakers, it read. 'This initiative aims to strengthen public engagement and deepen the cultural association with Namo Bharat," the statement added.
