After sharing screen space with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3, actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh found himself at the centre of a heated controversy. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) urged the makers of Border 2 to reconsider Dilijit's casting. Soon after, speculation began swirling online that the actor had been dropped from the much-anticipated war drama.
However, the Amar Singh Chamkila star put those rumours to rest on Wednesday by sharing a behind-the-scenes video from the sets of Border 2 on his Instagram handle. In the clip, Diljit is seen donning a crisp formal suit, walking out of his vanity van with pride, and posing with jawans—all while the iconic song 'Ke Ghar Kab Aaoge' from Border plays in the background.
Border 2 also stars Varun Dhawan, Sunny Deol, and Ahan Shetty in key roles.

Though Sardaar Ji 3 was pulled from an Indian release, Diljit Dosanjh shared its trailer and song teaser on social media—one of which spotlighted Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. After receiving backlash, he deleted the song teaser. His move prompted AICWA to write letters to the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and Information & Broadcasting Minister.

They also wrote letters to producers JP Dutta and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, urging them to drop Diljit from Border 2. So far, the production team has not issued any official response.
Speaking to BBC Asian Network about Sardaar Ji 3, Diljit Dosanjh said, 'I signed the film back in February. Things are not in our control. The producers have invested a lot of money in the film. If they decide to release it overseas, I have to support them.'
Diljit is also a co-producer on Sardaar Ji 3. The controversy has divided public opinion— with some applauding his professionalism, while others questioning his choices.
Border 2 is all set to release on January 23 next year.

Kaun Banega Crorepati Completes 25 Years , A Show That Boosted Amitabh Bachchans Stardom

Mumbai: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, who was recently seen in the Tamil film 'Vettaiyan', is celebrating 25 years of his iconic television show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. On Thursday, the veteran megastar took to his Instagram, and shared a post for the show. However, his choice of picture was something that didn't sit well with the post. The AI-generated picture was far from the show or its theme. The actor nevertheless wrote in the caption, 'Today 3rd July , 2025 , as I work on this years season KBC prep, I am told by the KBC team - 3rd July 2000, the first broadcast of KBC happened .. 25 years , the life of KBC (sic)'. 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is one of India's most iconic television shows. It is also responsible for reviving the career of Big B, who back in time was facing a severe financial crunch. During the late 1990s, Big B's production house, Amitabh Bachchan Corporation (AB Corp) had gone belly up, given its overly corporate approach in times when the industry followed a very traditional way of making movies. In a bid to pay off the creditors, Big B took to the medium of television with 'KBC' in 2000. Suddenly, a megastar, who earlier was only accessible on the silver screen, reached millions of Indian households through television. With the strength of a new medium by his side, Big B not just booked the primetime of India for himself but also made a place in the heart of every Indian family. The Indian audience gave an overwhelming response to Big B in 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' which is based on the UK show 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' The show was also hosted by Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan for one of its seasons but it didn't get as much a good response from the audience compared to Big B's stint.

Subhash Ghai Shares Throwback Photo With Irrfan Khan: 'Was More Happy To...'

Last Updated: Irrfan Khan took his last breath on April 29, 2020 after a brave fight against neuroendocrine tumour. Subhash Ghai took a walk down memory lane as he shared a heartfelt throwback photo with the late actor Irrfan. The photo, which quickly went viral, captures their friendship. He also penned a sweet note for him. Subhash Ghai and Irrfan Khan worked Right Yaa Wrong. Taking to his Instagram handle, Subhash Ghai shared a throwback photo from an award ceremony. He wrote, 'I have always been in more of admirations of good n great actors than just cosmetic stars of any time.-Good actors enhance the story telling-Stars play stars to glitter the film. I was more happy to get compliments from irfaan than award at an award function. So I remember this picture vividly. Take a look here: Known for his remarkable ability to bring depth to every role, Irrfan Khan earned a special place in the hearts of millions. From Maqbool and Slumdog Millionaire to The Namesake, Life in a Metro, The Lunchbox, and Jurassic World, his filmography stands as a testament to his extraordinary talent. Irrfan Khan took his last breath on April 29, 2020, at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital after a brave fight against neuroendocrine tumour. Reportedly, this type of cancer is hard to diagnose and treat because its symptoms are similar to less serious illnesses. Recently, Subhash Ghai accused modern-day actors-turned-producers of lacking both creative and business acumen while also calling out the industry for neglecting key contributors like writers and composers. Speaking to Komal Nahta on Game Changers, Ghai lamented the industry's shift from collaborative filmmaking to a fractured system driven by inflated budgets and corporate interests. 'When a film can be made for Rs 100 but is instead stretched to Rs 1,000, those extra Rs 900 become an open invitation for financial exploitation. Filmmaking once thrived on passion and efficiency—now, it's all about compartmentalization, with multiple departments working in silos and no one focused on keeping costs in check," he remarked.
