Former UK PM Tony Blair pats Revanth
In a letter to the Chief Minister, Tony Blair congratulated Revanth Reddy for his commendable efforts to promote Telangana as the fastest developing state.
It may be mentioned here that the CM met with Tony Blair in New Delhi recently and shared his thoughts on the development of Telangana state by taking up pioneering initiatives. CM Revanth Reddy also explained Telangana Rising Vision-2047 to Tony Blair and the government's main objective of achieving the goal of $3 trillion economy, investment prospects, farmers welfare, women and youth empowerment, infrastructure, IT and other sectors.
During the meeting, Telangana Government and TBIGC also signed a Letter of Intent regarding the implementation of Telangana Rising Vision.
Tony Blair informed that the representative of TBIGC in India will cooperate with the Telangana government in achieving the goals set in Telangana Rising Vision-2047. He also suggested the CM to contact the TBIGC India representative without any hesitation and seek help as and when needed.

Half of TG will be covered with HAM roads: Minister
Hyderabad: The R&B Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that almost 50% of the roads in Telangana will be covered with the HAM (Hybrid Annuity Model) roads. During the review meeting with R&B and NHAI officials at the State Secretariat, the Minister said that the HAM roads will be crucial in connectivity from the mandal center to the district center. He informed that the construction of roads in urban, semi-urban and rural areas will be undertaken in order of priority. He further said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy instructed the officials to take steps immediately to start the tender process, after the approval of the HAM road packages. The details of the road packages were discussed with Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj, during the meeting. Minister told the R&B officials that the HAM roads will have to be constructed in full compliance with the quality standards as per NHAI norms and that the quality should be maintained for at least ten years, without any damage. Minister directed the R&B officials that they not only conduct field visits and check the quality but also identify low-level bridges and high-level bridges in advance. He also asked the officials to take precautionary measures to prevent future accidents and inconvenience to traffic. Minister said that he will meet Prime Minister Modi and Union Minister Gadkari along with the CM for the approval of the southern part of Regional Ring Road (RRR) within a few days. The Minister, who inquired about the progress of NH 65 road works, discussed the progress of the 6-lane road expansion work from Madinaguda to Sangareddy and ordered to speed up the work. The construction of TIMS Hospitals, Warangal Hospital, Medical Colleges, Collectorates and several ROBs that are in the final stages of construction should be completed immediately, the Minister instructed the officials.

Workshop on Vision Parchur @2047 held
Parchur: A workshop on the 'Vision Parchur @2047' was held as part of the Vision Swarna Andhra Pradesh @2047 Action Plan at Parchur MLA Yeluri Sambasiva Rao's camp office at Isukadarsi on Wednesday. Sambasiva Rao participated in the workshop along with Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board Chairman Damacharla Sathya, SC Corporation Dr Pedapudi Vijay Kumar, and explained that the initiative aims to position Parchur constituency at the forefront of development across all sectors by 2047. Speaking at the workshop attended by officials from various departments, the MLA emphasised that the goal is to achieve top position in agriculture, industrial development, and tourism sectors. He stated that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is moving forward with the Swarna Andhra Pradesh @2047 Vision, targeting health, employment, women's economic development, and increased farmer income to achieve prosperity and happiness for all. Yeluri announced the launch of 'Parchur Pragati Prajalathone' (Progress of Parchur through Public), the P4 initiative designed to eliminate poverty through mentor support. Three mentors, Kolla Ashok, Venkat, and Swarna Balu, have been appointed to guide software training for unemployed youth and provide necessary assistance to poor families in the constituency. He said that the mentors have already established a software training centre at Guntur and are planning to train at least 10 candidates from each of the six mandals in the constituency. The MLA set economic development goals for the constituency, to improve per capita income from Rs 2.45 lakh today to Rs 45 lakhs by 2047, and plans to establish 25000 solar installations by March 31, 2026. The workshop discussed plans for industrial park development, irrigation facilities expansion, fisheries industry promotion, agricultural sector advancement, port development near Chinnaganjam to create employment opportunities, and others to achieve the vision. Sathya praised CM Chandrababu Naidu's vision, drawing parallels to the successful Vision 2020 that transformed Hyderabad. He expressed confidence that Vision Swarnandhra @2047 will also achieve success through technology adoption and rapid development. Vijay Kumar commended MLA Sambasiva Rao's efforts in resolving tobacco farmers' issues and ensuring government procurement of tobacco crops. He highlighted the MLA's commitment to constituency development and youth welfare. The workshop was attended by DWMA PD AV Vijayalakshmi, Markfed DM Karuna Sri, Agriculture Market Committee Chairman Gunji Venkatarao, tahsildars from sixmandals, MPDOs, and engineering department officials.

KCR mortgaged TG water interests to AP: Revanth
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday alleged that former chief minister and BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao mortgaged the interests of Telangana to Andhra Pradesh when it came to utilising waters from Godavari and Krishna rivers. 'With regard to Krishna water utilization, KCR betrayed Telangana a thousand times more than the injustice done by the rulers in the erstwhile undivided Andhra Pradesh. The BRS leader should be awarded a punishment of 100 whippings,' the Chief Minister said, adding that BRS leaders were levelling baseless allegations against the Congress to cover up their misdeeds. Revanth Reddy made these comments after participating in a power-point presentation by Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Krishna water and Medigadda project taken up by the previous BRS government and its catastrophic consequences to the state irrigation sector in Praja Bhavan here. He invited KCR to come for a debate in the Assembly on projects and Krishna and Godavari water utilization during 10 years of BRS rule and in the Congress government. The CM said that he along with ministers would even hold a mock assembly at KCR's Erravalli farmhouse if the BRS leader can't make it to the Assembly due to poor health. The Chief Minister further said that the government was ready to seek suggestions on irrigation projects from an experienced leader like KCR for the benefit of the state. 'We are also ready to seek opinions from experts and other stakeholders,' the CM said, appealing to KCR to write a letter to the Speaker to convene the Legislative Assembly sessions as the government was ready for a thorough debate. 'Let's discuss the decisions taken during the BRS regime and our tenure. As the leader of the House, I promise, without any confusion, it is my responsibility to ensure that no one's dignity is violated in the house during the debate', he stated. The government's main intention is to explain the facts to the people and be ready to fight for the rights of Telangana on water issues, he added. Further, Revanth Reddy said that it was KCR who reduced allocations from 2 TMC to one TMC per day to Palamuru- Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme. The CM also questioned the change in the designs of Pranahita-Chevella Lift Irrigation project which led to removal of 4 lakh acres of ayacut in Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda districts. During the Congress regime, irrigation facilities were provided to 54 lakh acres at the cost of Rs 93,000 per acre while the cost zoomed to Rs 15 lakh per acre during the BRS government, he pointed out.
