Popovic wins gold in 100m freestyle at FINA World aquatics championships

American Jack Alexi finished second and won the silver medal with a time of 46.92 seconds, while Australian Kyle Chalmers finished third and won the bronze medal with a time of 47.17 seconds.
This is the second gold medal won by Romanian David Popovici at the championships, after winning the 200m freestyle.
