This fourth generation blends elegant materials, bright displays and next-level functionality for people who want more from their watch – and their lifestyle.
Smart tech meets standout design
Let's start with the fit. Both the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 and FIT 4 Pro are slim, stylish and light enough to wear all day. The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 weighs just 27 grams and is 9.5mm thin, with a clean glass and aluminium frame designed for maximum comfort. It's ideal for everyday users who want a wearable that keeps up with them at work, at the gym, or on the go.
Step up to the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro and you'll find premium craftsmanship in every detail. It comes in at just 30.4 grams and 9.3mm thick, with a titanium alloy bezel, aviation-grade aluminium body and ultra-durable sapphire glass. This model is built for adventure, blending protection and elegance in one powerful package.
Screen brightness that doesn't quit
The new series features a generous 1.82-inch AMOLED display, powered by HUAWEI Hybrid AMOLED technology and delivering crisp, vivid visuals with ultra-high retina resolution. On the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4, the screen peaks at 2,000 nits – more than enough for sunny days. But the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro takes it even further, with 3,000 nits of peak brightness for unrivalled visibility in bright outdoor settings.
Whether you're checking your stats on a hike or flicking through messages at a café, both models deliver clarity with style.
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 delivers the essentials – and more
Don't let the clean look fool you. The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 comes loaded with intelligent tracking features to help you stay on top of your health and activity goals. With support for seven new sports modes, including mountain climbing and cross-country skiing, it's ready for any challenge.
Thanks to an integrated air pressure sensor and the upgraded HUAWEI Sunflower Positioning System, it delivers sharper elevation data and improved GPS tracking, even in tricky environments. Huawei has also added dedicated route tracking for water sports, making the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 the ideal choice for those who prefer paddleboards to pavements.
There's also expanded heart rate variability (HRV) monitoring, advanced sleep insights, and a brand-new Emotional Wellbeing Assistant. With gentle alerts and playful watch faces that reflect your mood, it's like having a coach and cheerleader on your wrist.
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro turns it up a notch
While the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 handles daily fitness beautifully, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro goes pro. This model is purpose-built for athletes, explorers and serious wellness warriors who want the very best.
Pro-level features include Advanced Terrain Map Tracking with offline maps, route import and real-time navigation alerts. The new golf modes put over 15,000 course maps and GPS distance data at your fingertips, while the Diving Mode supports dives up to 40 metres, offering real-time feedback on depth, temperature, and hover time.
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro also unlocks true trail running potential with offline contour maps and auto-marked points of interest. There's even breath-hold training to improve lung capacity and performance during underwater activity.
Health tracking that understands you
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro debuts Huawei's new TruSense System – a next-generation sensor suite that monitors everything from heart rate and blood oxygen to ECG and sleep breathing. With this level of accuracy and speed, it's more than a tracker – it's a tool for smarter wellness.
For women, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro adds personalised menstrual cycle insights using temperature sensors for predictive tracking. It's a thoughtful touch that shows how far wearables have come in supporting total health.
Battery to back it all up
Long battery life means more freedom to live. The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 gives you up to 10 days of use on a single charge, and tops up in just 75 minutes. The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro charges even faster, reaching full power in only 60 minutes.
Both models are compatible with Android and iOS, opening up their feature sets to a wide audience without compromising performance.
A smartwatch that works your way
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Series isn't just smart. It's personal. You can customise your watch face with stickers, widgets, or even photos of your favourite moments – and design every detail, right down to the font and layout.
This is more than a new watch. It's your lifestyle, upgraded.

Why I'm Obsessed With This AI Stock Trading at Fire Sale Prices

Written by Karen Thomas, MSc, CFA at The Motley Fool Canada Artificial intelligence, or AI, is changing the world, improving processes, efficiencies, and performance. Blackberry Inc. (TSX:BB) has been a part of this change for many years, having developed its embedded machine-to-machine connected technology to become an invaluable player in the field. Today, this AI stock is finally gearing up for sustained revenue and earnings growth. Let's take a look. In its most recent transformation, Blackberry has taken steps to improve its balance sheet, cash flows, and cost structure. These steps included splitting the company up into three divisions – QNX, secure communications, and licensing — and selling its Cylance cybersecurity business. The restructuring also included taking more than $150 million out of its cost structure and initiating a share buyback program. Blackberry's business is made up of three main segments, QNX, secure communications, and licensing. The QNX segment is the one that we hear most about and is the primary focus. Blackberry's QNX provides critical software for embedded, machine-to-machine connected systems. It's used in automotive applications, as well as medical devices, industrial controls, and robotics. The secure communications segment specializes in secure communications software for enterprises. Some of Blackberry's secure communications clients include government agencies, financial institutions, and essential service providers. It's true that many investors have grown skeptical with regard to Blackberry. But the list of reasons to like this AI stock is growing. For example, the QNX segment has grown its revenues from $178 million in 2022 to $236 million in 2025 – that's a 33% increase over this time period. And its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) margin stands at a healthy 25%. Also, Blackberry's QNX is in more than 250 million vehicles worldwide and it's in strong demand. In fact, QNX has more than $865 million in backlog, which will make its way to the income statement over the next few years. Backlog was $460 million in 2022. In the secure communications segment, revenue is stable, with a 19% EBITDA margin and solid cash flows. Along with revenue improvements, Blackberry is also seeing improvements to its balance sheet and cash flows. And this is what takes Blackberry stock to a new level, both in terms of returns and risk. As we can see from the company's latest quarter, Blackberry's cash flows and balance sheet have strengthened considerably. In the most recent quarter, the company's operating cash usage came in at $18 million, which is a low point. Looking to the full year, Blackberry expects operating cash flow of a positive $35 million. This compares to prior years of negative operating cash flow. As for its balance sheet, Blackberry has $410 million in cash, with no debt maturities until 2029. This has given the company flexibility to invest in organic and inorganic growth, and to buy back shares if they present a good opportunity. All of this will drive shareholder value in the short and long term. Two things will likely happen as a result of this. Firstly, Blackberry's stock will trade higher because of the earnings and cash flow lift. Secondly, the stock will likely get re-rated and investors will assign it a higher multiple. This should send the stock higher in the coming months and years. The post Why I'm Obsessed With This AI Stock Trading at Fire Sale Prices appeared first on The Motley Fool Canada. Oh Great, the TikTok People Want to Strap AR Goggles on Your Face

There's reportedly a potential new player in AR glasses, and you'll never guess who it is. I'll give you a hint: they make the app you're about to unconsciously check in about 15 seconds. No, not Tinder; get your mind out of the gutter. I'm talking about TikTok, or more specifically, ByteDance, which owns TikTok and also, according to The Information, which cites sources within the company, has aspirations of entering the burgeoning world of XR hardware. ByteDance's entrant, according to the report, is a pair of goggle-like AR glasses that sit somewhere in between Meta's Quest and Apple's Vision Pro, and I have to say… they sound kind of cool? According to The Information, the AR goggles, codenamed Phoenix, will have digital passthrough, which is to say, they'll have XR similar to what you might see on a Quest 3, and they'll weigh just 100 grams. That is notably much lighter than the Vision Pro and Meta's Quest 3, which weigh 650 grams and 515 grams, respectively. That smaller form factor will definitely come with some limitations, though. Reducing the weight is all well and good, but it's still hard to miniaturize some of the high-end tech found in headsets like Vision Pro—I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't expect any high-res micro-OLED display here. That being said, the report says that Phoenix will still borrow some of the capabilities from more premium headsets like the Vision Pro, including a UI that's centered around hand and eye-tracking instead of controllers, just like Apple's visionOS that powers the Vision Pro. While The Information doesn't say anything about price, I'm going to assume that Phoenix, if it ever sees the light of day, will be much cheaper than the Vision Pro, though that's not saying much since Apple's only headset—sorry, 'spatial computer'—is still a conversation-ending $3,500. And that last part, if it does pan out to be true, will be very important. If the report is correct, what we're looking at here is a lightweight AR headset that, yes, may be a little bit dumber than the rest of the pack, but is also a lot more accessible both weight-wise and monetarily. That's basically Meta's playbook with the Quest 3S, which costs just $299 and still does pretty much all of the things you'd want an XR headset to do, just not at a fancy-schmancy Vision Pro level. That lower capability but accessible price and weight strategy has been a fruitful one for Meta. In the first three quarters after its release, Meta sold 3 million Quest 3s while Apple sold just an estimated 370,000 Vision Pros. And that's not the only Meta product to succeed with that strategy. Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses, for example, are shells of what competitors like Xreal are putting out—they don't even have displays in them—but they've resonated with people who want something affordable, lightweight, and with just enough features to make the price feel worthwhile. Oh, they also don't make you look like a total dork when you wear them. XR is still a nascent field at the end of the day, so it's too early to prognosticate on whether ByteDance's Phoenix glasses will be any good or anywhere close to successful. As a reality check, ByteDance notably owns the company Pico, which makes VR hardware that has yet to really challenge Meta's Quest dominance. That being said, this is a new product, and ByteDance may nail the strategy with Phoenix. Plus, with TikTok-level resources, it's hard to count anyone out.

Global smartphone shipments growth slows in Q2 as tariff uncertainty weighs

-The growth of global smartphone shipments slowed in the second quarter as buyers, wary of U.S. tariff-driven economic uncertainty, curbed spending, especially on low-end devices, data from research firm International Data Corp showed on Monday. Shipments increased by 1% in the April-June quarter to 295.2 million units, according to the preliminary data, slower than the 1.5% growth recorded in the previous quarter. WHY IT'S IMPORTANT Demand in China declined in the second quarter, as subsidies failed to stimulate demand, with Apple seeing a 1% drop. Overall demand has tapered as consumers deprioritize spending on smartphones, especially in low-end segments. Sellers have continued to push higher price points to make up for the slowdown in unit shipments by offering AI in more affordable devices, IDC said. KEY QUOTES "In the face of ongoing political challenges, the impact of war, and the complexities posed by tariffs, the 1% growth in the smartphone market stands as a critical indicator that the market is poised to return to growth," said Anthony Scarsella, research director for Client Devices at IDC. "Economic uncertainty tends to compress demand at the lower end of the market, where price sensitivity is highest. As a result, low-end Android is witnessing a crunch weighing down overall market growth," said Nabila Popal, senior research director for Worldwide Client Devices. BY THE NUMBERS Samsung saw the highest growth, with shipments increasing 7.9% to 58 million units in the quarter. Apple roughly maintained its market share as the second-top smartphone seller, with a growth of 1.5% in shipments. CONTEXT IDC had in May slashed its 2025 global smartphone shipment growth forecast to 0.6% from 2.3%, citing tariff-driven economic uncertainty and a pullback in consumer spending. GRAPHIC
