A.P. Waqf Board plans to support poor Muslims through P4 initiative
Andhra Pradesh Waqf Board is putting all its efforts to implement the P4 (Public Private People Partnership) initiative to provide security and support to the poor Muslim families in the State. A.P. Waqf Board Chairman Abdul Azeez announced this while speaking at the fourth State-level meeting at Command Control Room of the Nellore Municipal Corporation (NMC) office on Saturday. The P-4 is a poverty alleviation programme launched by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on March 30. According to the initiative, rich and affluent people who come forward to uplift the poor as 'Margadarsi' (guides) would support the beneficiary families called as 'Bangaru Kutumbam' (golden family). Addressing the media after the meeting, Mr. Abdul Azeez said that the Waqf Board is exploring the ways to generate income from its properties across the State, while protecting them from alienation. Particularly, a Rent Review Committee will be formed at the State level to review the rents of 1,300 shops directly managed by the board in various areas, he informed. He alleged that the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government had not only stalled the development works of the Waqf Board, but also not submitted the utilisation certificate for ₹386-crore funds sanctioned by the Union government. So, the Centre has not sanctioned any new funds. 'The Chief Minister spoke about this issue with the Centre, and worked to resolve the problem soon,' he added. The Waqf Board chief informed that criminal cases will be filed against the 'Mutawallis' (trustees) who sold out the Waqf lands in the State. He further said that an application was received from the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) to set up an MSME park at Mallayapalem in Guntur district, and the land will be leased on a long-term basis without changing the title and ownership.

All these students have until July 7 to confirm their admissions in the allotted seats. Of the total applicants, 6,32,194 have been allotted seats in CAP round 1 — 1,49,791 in Arts, 1,39,602 in Commerce and 3,42,801 in Science. In all, 4,57,841 candidates have been allotted seats in their first college of preference. This includes 1,35,620 allotments in Arts, 82,594 allotments in Commerce and 2,39,627 in Science. As per rules, all these students have to confirm their admissions in their allotted seats. Meanwhile, out of 1,45,225 applications received under the in-house, minority and management quota of junior colleges, 60,487 admissions have been confirmed in round zero, which takes place before CAP round 1. Now, after admissions under CAP round 1 are finalised, the vacancy list for round 2 will be declared on July 9. The FYJC merit list, which was earlier scheduled to be out on June 26, was delayed due to technical snags. The office of deputy director had announced that the list will be out on June 30, but it was declared on Saturday evening. With slight variations, cutoffs of popular city colleges have gone up marginally. For example, at the city's most popular St Xavier's College, cutoff for Arts remained the same as that of last year's – 94.3 per cent. Whereas in Science stream it has gone up from 91.6 per cent to 93. At Ruia College, cutoff for Arts increased marginally from 92.2 per cent to 92.4 whereas in Science it has gone up from 93.4 per cent to 94.4.

Nifty, Bank Nifty Futures signal strong upside as bulls take charge
Nifty 50 and Nifty Bank indices surged 2.1% each last week, supported by strong futures and options (F&O) data that signals sustained bullish sentiment. Nifty 50 Futures Outlook Nifty July futures closed at 25,750, posting a 2.2% weekly gain. This rally was backed by a sharp rise in open interest, which more than doubled to 151 lakh contracts—indicating a fresh long build-up. The July Put-Call Ratio (PCR) stands at 1.20, while the August contract is at 1.30. A PCR above 1 suggests stronger put writing activity, a common sign of bullishness. From a technical standpoint, Nifty July futures broke out above the resistance at 25,400, confirming bullish momentum. The next target is 26,500, and if this level is breached, a further rally to 27,000 is likely. Support Levels: 25,400 (immediate) 25,150 (21-day moving average) Strategy: Continue holding long positions in Nifty July futures with a stop-loss at 25,300. If the contract crosses 26,000, raise the stop-loss to 25,700 and book profits at 26,500. Nifty Bank Futures Outlook Bank Nifty July futures ended at 57,648, also up by 2.1% last week. Open interest jumped fivefold to 23 lakh contracts, confirming strong long positions. PCR readings for July and August are 1.10 and 2.20 respectively—both pointing to a bullish stance. However, the contract is nearing a resistance zone between 57,800 and 58,000. If there's a pullback, 57,000 can act as a buying opportunity before another upward move begins. A breakout above 58,000 can take the contract to 60,000. While 59,000 might be a minor hurdle, the current momentum suggests it could be crossed smoothly. Support Levels: 56,800 (23.6% Fibonacci retracement) 56,300 (next key support) Strategy: Exit the long position (initiated at 56,330) around current levels due to nearby resistance. Re-enter only on: A breakout above 58,000 – Buy with a target of 60,000 and stop-loss at 57,000 A dip to 57,000 – Buy with a stop-loss at 56,300, and same target of 60,000 Options Strategy: Exit the 58,000 Call (bought at ₹397) at current ₹706 levels. Consider buying an at-the-money call again on a breakout above 58,000 or a dip to 57,000. Both indices show bullish setups backed by F&O data, but traders should watch key levels closely for confirmation before entering fresh positions.
