LPA near Cagayan may develop into Tropical Depression 'Bising'- PAGASA
If it develops into a storm, it will be locally named 'Bising', the second tropical cyclone to affect the Philippines this year, said PAGASA weather specialist John Manalo.
As of 3:00 p.m., the LPA was located approximately 155 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. Due to its close proximity to land, Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 may be raised over parts of Eastern Northern and Central Luzon once it develops further.
PAGASA cautioned residents in these areas to stay alert for weather advisories and potential heavy rainfall.
Meanwhile, a separate tropical depression is being monitored outside PAR, located 2,615 km east northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, moving northwestward at 15 kph, with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gustiness up to 70 kph.
Earlier, PAGASA forecasted that 2 to 3 tropical cyclones may form inside PAR in July, some of which could potentially make landfall in the Visayas or Central Luzon, or pass close to Batanes.

PAGASA warns of intensified Habagat and possible cyclones in the next three days
PAGASA has advised the public to brace for more rains in the coming days due to the enhanced southwest monsoon (Habagat) and two low-pressure areas (LPAs) that could develop into tropical cyclones. According to Engr. Christopher Perez of DOST-PAGASA, these LPAs may intensify the monsoon rains over the next two to three days, even though no official storm is currently active. PAGASA may issue a cyclone update by Tuesday afternoon or evening, depending on the LPAs' development. Until Friday, cloudy skies and scattered monsoon rains are expected to persist over most of Luzon, especially in the western section. PAGASA also raised an orange rainfall warning over Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, and Rizal—indicating potential flooding from intense rainfall. Yellow warnings were also issued for Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, and Laguna. In the Visayas, floods may hit Occidental Mindoro, and rainfall is likely in Palawan, Iloilo, Guimaras, Capiz, Aklan, and Antique. Pangasinan in Northern Luzon has been placed under a high yellow warning level.

UAE embassy in Vietnam urges citizens to exercise caution as storm Wipha approaches
The UAE mission in Vietnam urged citizens who are currently in the Asian country to exercise caution amid forecasts indicating that a storm is approaching. The alert is due to "forecasts indicating that Storm Wipha will enter the northwestern regions of the country," it said on X. The mission also stressed the need to follow the safety instructions issued by the authorities. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) stated that the severe tropical storm Wipha (formerly Crising) maintained its strength on Saturday as it moved away from the Philippine landmass. It had a maximum sustained winds of 100 kilometres per hour near the centre and gusts of up to 125 kilometres per hour. It was moving west-northwestward at 20 kph, Pagasa added.
