
CHP investigating Highway 4 road rage shooting near Concord
Around 2:20 p.m., the victim called 911 and reported a shooting during a road rage incident on eastbound Highway 4, between Willow Pass Road and San Marco Boulevard, the CHP said.
The victim then used San Marco Boulevard to get off the highway and waited for first responders at a gas station. The CHP said they victim had an injury that was not life-threatening.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and the CHP said it does not yet know if the victim was shot or grazed by the bullet.
Detectives with the Golden Gate Division Special Investigations Unit will be at the scene.

Placer County dive team recovers body of 75-year-old at Lower Lake Clementine
The Placer County Sheriff's Office said the body of a 75-year-old man who went missing at a lake was recovered on Sunday. The Sheriff's Office said they were told a 75-year-old had been out on Lower Lake Clementine all Saturday and that his boat was found at the marina near the boat ramp. Apple Valley police ask for help after man found dying on a sidewalk
A man was found fighting for his life, moments before being declared dead in Apple Valley, Minnesota, according to police. Officials say officers were dispatched Sunday at around 3:12 a.m. to check the welfare of a person lying on the sidewalk at the intersection of Pennock Avenue and 138th Street. When they arrived, officers reported finding a man lying on the sidewalk covered in blood and with an injury to his chest. A police report says the officers performed lifesaving measures, but the man was ultimately declared dead at the scene. Authorities are asking anyone living near the incident with exterior cameras to review them for any activity between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday. Cowboys return man KaVontae Turpin arrested on marijuana and weapon charges
ALLEN, Texas — All-Pro return man KaVontae Turpin of the Cowboys was arrested in a Dallas suburb on misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and unlawful carrying of a weapon, authorities said Sunday. Turpin was arrested by police in Allen on Saturday. The 28-year-old is out of jail on bond. There is no record of an attorney for Turpin. The team declined to comment.
