Wrexham AFC continue partnership with Macron sportswear
Macron will supply the club with the official team kit, replica kit, official training and travel wear, and will have the worldwide retail rights both online and wholesale to retailers,
while Wrexham will continue to supply official replica kits and teamwear products, plus all other Wrexham branded products, exclusively in the UK through its official club shops and online.
This renewal reinforces a long-standing nine-year partnership that was first established in 2016.
The collaboration has yielded great success on and off the pitch for both Wrexham and Macron, with the Reds achieving three consecutive promotions from National League to the Championship, while Macron has grown to become a €220 million plus company.
Accompanying the announcement today was the release of a short brand video on social media that captures the spirit and synergy between the Macron Hero brand and Wrexham 's unique Welsh history and heritage, now a global brand thanks to the success of the acclaimed docu-series Welcome to Wrexham.
The partnership between Macron and Wrexham is founded on a shared vision of ambition, which has enabled the club to achieve extraordinary results on the pitch, supported by a technical partner that shares the same passion, innovation and commitment to quality.
Macron is consistently dedicated to supporting dynamic community-based sports organisations and has accompanied Wrexham on a journey of growth that extends far beyond technical kit supply, becoming an integral part of the club's evolving story.
Over the past nine years, the partnership has introduced cutting-edge technologies into the team's kits, placing a strong emphasis on design and visual identity, and promoting key values such as teamwork, determination and respect, all fundamental pillars for both Macron and Wrexham.
Every shirt produced by Macron for the Red Dragons tells a story with the DNA of the club woven into the uniqueness of each kit.
This will be the same for the 2025-26 season new kits which are set to be revealed in the coming weeks and worn for the first
time on the Wrexham Down Under Tour 2025-26 in Australia and New Zealand.
Michael Williamson, CEO of Wrexham AFC, said: 'We are very pleased to continue with Macron as our official technical kit supplier as we enter the second tier of the English Football League for the first time in 43 years.
"Macron have partnered with us over the past nine years and have shown that they understand us as a club and brand, supporting both the club and its community on this remarkable journey that we are on together with our loyal fans.
"We look forward to benefiting not only from their excellent design, manufacturing quality and sportswear technology, but also from their distribution reach now that Wrexham replica kits, training wear and apparel will be globally available to fans through major retail outlets in USA, Europe and Australia/New Zealand as well as online.'
Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, said: 'What Wrexham have achieved in recent years has been remarkable.
"We are thrilled to have been a part of it and to continue this sporting journey together. The interest, loyalty and overall engagement has grown steadily, driving us to create collections that truly reflect the passion for this shirt of both the players and the fans.
"This is our philosophy – one we bring to our work every day and are proud to share with Wrexham, in a partnership that exemplifies how sport, passion and innovation can
come together to create something truly special.'

Dunelm's £19 bedside table reduced four times in sale as shoppers say it's 'gorgeous'
Decorating your home can come with quite a hefty expense as furniture's not always cheap, which is why it's always wise to keep an eye out when big homewear brands have a sale. Fortunately for shoppers looking to refresh their bedroom space, Dunelm has launched a massive clearance sale with reductions on items including rugs, bedding, storage and more. This particular Elements Griffin Compact Bedside Table was initially priced at £79 and has been slashed to £19.75. The item has been marked down four times since January, boasting an impressive average rating of 4.8 out of 5 from delighted customers online. Featuring a rounded compact design, the bedside table includes a drawer and open shelf with a 'modern' painted metal finish, reports the Liverpool Echo. Love dreamy Welsh homes? Customers have been commending its 'sturdy' construction in their reviews. On the Dunelm website, the complete product description states: "Crafted from durable metal, this bedside table features a contemporary design that effortlessly complements various decor styles. It includes one drawer and one shelf, providing ample storage space for your night time essentials. "The drawer offers a discreet spot to keep personal items out of sight, while the open shelf is perfect for books, magazines, or decorative items. The compact size of this bedside table makes it an ideal choice for smaller spaces, ensuring that even the cosiest bedrooms can benefit from its stylish functionality." Over on the Dunelm website, one customer remarked: "These bedside drawers are just so lovely to look at, very solid (heavy) metal construction, easy to put together." A second review stated: "Fab colour, good looking bedside table. Heavy and sturdy and good value. The drawer is a little stiff to close." A third customer commented: "This was easy to put together and much heavier than expected. Quite a quirky design which I like." However, some customers found the assembly of the bedside cabinet challenging. This sentiment was echoed in a review which read: "Lovely cabinet. It required 16 hex nuts to be fitted to fix the legs in position. You would think that would be easy. Nightmare." Another shopper added: "Really good quality and well packaged. Stylish and contemporary colour for my teenage son's bedroom." One reviewer noted: "Great quality, quite heavy and very sturdy. Looks more expensive than it was. Great design love the shelf." For a different bedside table in a more muted tone, Argos have the Habitat Otto 1 Drawer Round Bedside Table - Grey for £35. Alternatively, The Range has the Polo Round Bedside Table in White for £111.99 online.

Motherwell goalkeeper a target for Airdrie ahead of season opener
The Diamonds are looking to strengthen between the sticks Airdrieonians are targeting the signing of Motherwell goalkeeper Matty Connelly on loan. Lanarkshire Live Sport understands the Fir Park shot-stopper, who was handed his first team debut for the Steelmen earlier this month in a 2-1 win over Peterhead in the Premier Sports Cup, is being pursued by the Diamonds ahead of Saturday's Championship opener at home to Ross County. Rhys McCabe's side are currently light in the goalkeeping department with goalie coach David Hutton named on the bench for Saturday's cup defeat to Alloa, while 20-year-old Cade Melrose started between the sticks. Hutton has been a substitute in all of the club's cup matches, with Melrose taking the gloves. So the Diamonds are keen to strengthen in that department and the answer could lie with Connelly, who played regularly on loan at East Kilbride last season on their way to the Lowland League title and promotion to League Two. Connelly - who signed a new one year deal with Motherwell last month - had been expected to return to Kilby this season, but an injury to Fir Park No.1 Aston Oxborough in pre-season meant the Steelmen held on to their youth academy product for their Premier Sports Cup games, which concluded last midweek. However, with Oxborough returning in Friday night's friendly against Hertha Berlin off the bench and second choice Calum Ward starting that game ahead of Saturday's Premiership opener with Rangers, it is understood 22-year-old Connelly could be looking to go out on loan again. Connelly recently said in an interview with Motherwell's club media: 'The loans have been absolutely pivotal. 'I've always said I'd rather go out and play instead of just being a number two or a three. The excitement of playing games is the most important thing and especially getting the experience. 'My first loan at Gretna, which was brilliant, it was only a short period I was there before I got the facial injury, it was so benefical. What a place it is, great place to start. Moving to Stranraer, that was cut short but East Kilbride was so good. 'That's where I played the majority of my games, I think I played just under 50 games there last year. I've been there twice and had the chance to go back there which was a no brainer. 'Getting those games and experience is vital. It moulds you and gets you one step closer to playing first-team football here.'
