Olivia Palermo loves wearing leather
The 40-year-old model loves wearing garments made from the material and insisted it is suitable for all weathers if worn in the right way.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "It's like my uniform. You can go anywhere in it, even in the summer, if you wear it in a light way."
While the former City star is a fan of monochrome pieces, she is a particular fan of mint green clothing and insisted it is a hue that suits everyone.
She said: "As a fashion person, I love black and white, but I also love colour. As a child, my favourite dress was mint green, and that still resonates. It looks beautiful on everyone."
And there are some trends Olivia refuses to follow.
She said: "I don't like the ugly shoe trend. That's not for me. I also think Spandex should really just be for the gym."
The brunette beauty married Johannes Huebel in 2014, seven years after they first met, and they are both always happy to offer an opinion on the other's outfit choice.
Asked if Johannes gives his opinion on her wardrobe, she said: "Oh yes. He worked as a model for 12 years before I showed up in his life. The Palermo-Huebl household is quality control on steroids. We always give our two cents."
Olivia turned 40 in February but felt relaxed about reaching the milestone age because she looks and feels "good".
She said: "Honestly, it's just a number. When it comes to age, what's the point in hiding it? Own it. I've lived a wonderful life. I feel good, I look good, I have a great team around me, and my focus is on longevity and health.
"Johannes and I are a great support system for each other in that sense. We have the same views on how to live our life."
Olivia isn't a fan of being called an influencer but thinks it hard to find a title which does suit her.
She said: "I laugh, because when you look at my entire career, you see how much the [fashion] world has changed. Titles have changed. I've been labeled so many different things. It was nice to set a template for the world that they could take and use.
"[Now] I am fashion from every direction."

Olivia Munn has spoken out about her experiences filming The Newsroom, alleging repeated creative clashes with a director on the HBO series led to professional conflicts on set — and attempts to derail her career afterwards. The star claimed the director repeatedly pressured her to play the romantic arc from Sloan's perspective only. 'The director kept trying to force me to carry that storyline only on my side,' she said – adding: 'I'm in the middle of working and I've got this new Bloomberg machine, and I'm so excited, and he's like, 'Can you look out at him and smile?' 'And I'm like, 'Why? She's busy doing this.' Or, 'Can you stop and snuggle up to him or flirt with him or can you give him a kiss?'' A particularly contentious moment occurred, Olivia said, when her character discovered Don had committed insider trading using confidential information she had shared. 'I was like, 'Are you f****** kidding me? This is insane,'' she recalled. According to Oilvia, the director disagreed with her interpretation and insisted Sloan should find the situation 'kind of funny'. The conflict culminated in a standoff during filming. 'There was one scene, and I was like, 'No. I'm not doing (that),'' Olivia said – adding: 'And he said, 'Look, it's my job as a director to see all the different colours of the rainbow and you are looking at only one colour, and I don't think you realise how you're coming off.' 'And I said, 'How am I coming off?' And he said, 'Really forceful and strong.' 'And I said, 'Great. That's what I wanted.' And I walked away.' Despite intervention from a producer about the visible tension on set, Olivia said she stood her ground. 'I just fought back so much,' she said. 'I'm still happy about that.' Olivia also alleged the same director later attempted to damage her professional reputation. She said: 'I was on the one-yard line for a movie role when I got a call from my manager, who said, 'Hey, you're gonna get the role. 'But first, I guess there's another director who they know and he says that on The Newsroom, you were late all the time and really combative.'' Olivia denied the claims, saying she lived 'seven minutes' from set and 'was never late'. 'He just was trying to bash me,' she said, adding: 'And I told my reps, 'Please tell the directors this.' And then I still got the role.' Olivia also said the incident has remained with her, adding:. 'Just because of our conflicts of how we approached a role, he wanted to ruin my chances of getting anything else.'

Gabriella Wilde describes her style as "tomboyish". The Wonder Woman 1984 actress admits jeans and a T-shirt are the foundation of her wardrobe, and she rarely wears "anything nice" at home, because it will be "ruined immediately". Gabriella - who has three sons, aged 11, nine and five - told HELLO! magazine: "I'm not someone who wakes up, and puts on an outfit and make-up, you know? "I'm probably rolling out of bed and running outside to get the boys to school. "If I have anything nice, it will be ruined immediately if I wear it at home. "Children always will always bring you right back down to earth." The former Poldark star began modelling during her school years, and she was leaning towards a career in fine art painting. She said: "I started modelling very young - I was modelling on and off throughout school. Eventually, I left school and went into it full-time, then I started acting when I was 19. "At the time, I was at art college studying fine art painting, thinking that was the road I was going to take." However, she auditioned for Tim Burton's 2010 film Alice in Wonderland and then considered going down the acting route full-time. Gabriella added: "That was the first time I thought, oh, maybe I could act. As I'd never seen myself in that way. "I wasn't a particularly extroverted person, but then I discovered through film that a lot of the performance is internal and quieter. "It's not always like a school play where it's about getting up in front of everybody and being that kid in school, which I wasn't." Now, Gabriella's 11-year-old son is keen to follow in her acting footsteps. While she has warned him it is a "really hard" career, the Carrie actress thinks she might put him off acting altogether if the pre-teenager decides she is "really lame and embarrassing" in the near future. She said: "At the moment he's still young enough that he thinks my job is cool and I think he's interested in doing something creative himself. "But I'm pretty sure that I'm teetering on the edge of him thinking that I'm really lame and embarrassing because he's 11 - so I feel like I might put him off forever because it'll become deeply uncool at some point."
