Before debuting with Yash Raj Films' Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday had been studying filmmaking and has worked behind the scenes on several Bollywood films. The son of businessman Chikki Panday and fitness coach and author Deanne Panday, Ahaan is the nephew of actor Chunky Panday and the cousin of Ananya Panday. His sister, Alanna Panday is a social media influencer.
Born on December 23, 1997, Ahaan completed his education at Oberoi International School in Mumbai. He then pursued a degree in Cinematic Arts at the University of Mumbai, concentrating on film and television production. His coursework covered both the creative and technical aspects of cinema, including screenwriting, directing, editing, and post-production, alongside collaborative projects.
He also worked as an assistant director on projects such as Freaky Ali, Rock On 2, and the Netflix series The Railway Men.
