If you've been emotionally wrecked by Tell Me Lies , you're not alone. Hulu's twisted college drama has fans obsessed, and after that explosive Season 2 finale, the wait for Season 3 feels way too long. From secret hookups and revenge plots to that brutal audio bombshell, it's safe to say Lucy and Stephen's chaos isn't ending anytime soon. So what's next? Here's everything we know about Tell Me Lies Season 3—from release whispers to cast news and juicy storyline teases. Release Date Rumors: When Will Season 3 Hit Hulu?
Let's start with the question everyone's asking: When is Season 3 dropping?
Hulu gave fans an early holiday gift by renewing the show on December 19, 2024—just two months after Season 2 wrapped up. Filming officially began in late May 2025, with Hulu sharing a behind-the-scenes photo of Grace Van Patten (Lucy) holding a clapperboard on set. And if you follow @DeuxMoi (because of course you do), you probably saw that sighting of Van Patten and Jackson White (Stephen) filming in Toronto on May 26. That photo alone sent the fandom spiraling.
If we follow the previous release pattern, Season 1 landed in September 2022, Season 2 followed two years later in September 2024, after filming kicked off in early 2024. So with filming underway since May, the math suggests a possible late 2025 or early 2026 premiere—maybe fall or winter. Cast Updates: Who's Returning and Who's New?
The heart of the show, without question, is the endlessly toxic duo of Lucy and Stephen—and yes, both Grace Van Patten and Jackson White are locked in for Season 3. Not surprising, since the show kind of revolves around their wreckage. Fun fact? They're a couple in real life, which makes the on-screen tension even spicier.
As for the rest of the gang: Catherine Missal (Bree) is likely back, especially with her wedding drama hitting a boiling point in the finale.
Spencer House (Wrigley) still has a lot of dark storylines to unpack.
Sonia Mena (Pippa) has unfinished business, especially when it comes to her crumbling friendship with Lucy.
Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, and Tom Ellis—all of whom made waves in Season 2—are expected to stick around too.
And yes, new faces are coming. On May 9, 2025, Costa D'Angelo was announced as a new series regular (though we know nothing about his character—yet). Then in June, Iris Apatow joined the cast in a recurring role tied to a 'big secret.' So, yeah…things are about to get even messier. Plot Predictions: What's Next for Lucy, Stephen & the Baird College Crew?
If you're still reeling from Stephen's next-level manipulative move—sending Bree a years-old audio clip of Evan admitting to cheating on her with Lucy—you're not alone. That cliffhanger was brutal. It pretty much guarantees that Season 3 will pick up right at Bree's wedding in 2015. The big question: Will she actually go through with it? Or are we about to witness a public meltdown that blows up Lucy and Evan's past?
Showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer hinted that the story will lean even more into the 2015 timeline this time, with the college flashbacks starting to wrap up. That means we might finally get answers about how Stephen ends up engaged to Lucy's former bestie, Lydia—a plot twist that still hasn't been fully unpacked. There's also the unresolved tension between Bree, Oliver, and Marianne, and whether Pippa ever calls out Chris for his behavior.
But the biggest question? Will Stephen finally be held accountable for Macy's death?
Both Van Patten and White have teased a darker, more intense season. Van Patten told The Hollywood Reporter that she was stunned by Stephen's long game revenge, while White joked that he's ready to see Stephen 'trapped with no way to manipulate his way out.' Sounds like the perfect storm is coming.

King of the Hill Team Explains Why Hulu's Revival Aged Up Its Characters (and What's Staying the Same)

Hulu is bringing back the animated classic King of the Hill — and it may look a little different than you remember. Unlike The Simpsons, where Bart remains a grade-school prankster forever, King of the Hill decided to age up its characters for Hulu's revival — premiering Monday, Aug. 4 — with Hank and Peggy's son Bobby all grown up and Hank's friend Boomhauer sporting a few new wrinkles. (The original Fox run wrapped up back in 2009.) So why did they decide to bring the good people of Arlen into the future? More from TVLine Kristen Johnston and Chuck Lorre Lament Mom Cancellation, Discuss How Leanne Is Thematically Similar Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Video: Paul Wesley Calls This Week's Shatner-Esque Performance 'A Wink to the True Fans' - Watch The Challenge Premiere: Cara Maria Sorbello Breaks Down That 'Wild' First Challenge, Why [Spoiler] Was Eliminated 'What you always have to answer when you bring something back,' showrunner Saladin Patterson tells TVLine, 'is the 'why now?' question. Why bring it back?' So co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels 'came up with the great idea of: 'Well, if we're going to bring it back, let's do something unique.'' That means we catch up with Hank as he and Peggy return to Arlen after several years living abroad in Saudi Arabia. (They love propane almost as much as Hank does over there.) Bobby is living on his own and working as a chef at a Japanese restaurant, and Hank is forced to contend with new annoyances like Zoom calls and Uber drivers. The characters we know so well are 'experiencing a new phase of life,' Patterson adds, 'and that gave us all a little injection of energy in terms of being excited to revisit these characters.' Now Hank does have some familiarity with the modern world, Patterson emphasizes: 'It's not like he was in a cave. So most modern conveniences and things, he was aware of… It's not as much Hank not knowing how a cell phone works. It's more Hank being frustrated that we use cell phones for things we shouldn't use cell phones for.' Hank and his pals all deal with this new phase of life in their own unique way, Toby Huss (who takes over the voice of Dale for the late Johnny Hardwick) notes: 'Hank is a guy who watches the world change and questions it, and then sometimes steps into that change. And Dale is a guy who sees the change in the world, does not believe the change in the world, and believes that he knows the real reason the world is changing. Everybody has their own take on how the world changes, and how their character fits into it.' But some things never change, as Lauren Tom (who voices Minh and Connie) notes: 'You get to see the characters you know in different situations now, in the modern world. But what has stayed the same is there's a certain sweetness and kindness and authenticity from the original that I think the new one retains.' BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Reboot Reveals The New Slayer's Name... Nova — GeekTyrant

Hulu's upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot just dropped a key piece of information that's sure to get longtime fans of the franchise curious… the name of the new Slayer. According to Deadline, Ryan Kiera Armstrong will play Nova, a quiet high school student with a world-changing destiny. This reveal came alongside the announcement that Kingston Vernes has joined the cast. Vernes will portray Carson, a Junior Olympian and popular student at New Sunnydale Academy. He catches Nova's eye early on, and following a pivotal moment, he starts noticing her too. Sounds like a classic Slayer-meets-boy situation, but with a fresh twist. While the show is still untitled, photos from the table read shared by Sarah Michelle Gellar had the title cleverly hidden, and fans are now speculating that it might go with Nova the Vampire Slayer . For now, Hulu has only ordered a pilot, so the full series isn't officially greenlit yet. The Nova itself is Latin for 'new.' Given that Buffy activated every potential Slayer at the end of the original series, this reboot appears to pass the torch to a next-generation Slayer, one who may carry the weight of this new world. That doesn't mean Nova will be the only Slayer around. The pilot recently added five more cast members including Faly Rakotohavana, Ava Jean, Sarah Bock, Daniel Di Tomasso, and Jack Cutmore-Scott. It wouldn't be surprising to see at least one more Slayer among them, echoing dynamics from the original series with characters like Kendra and Faith. Although this isn't Buffy Summers' show, Sarah Michelle Gellar is back as Buffy in a mentor role. Nova will be front and center, but Buffy's legacy will still play a part. Gellar is also deeply involved behind the scenes, working alongside Eternals director Chloé Zhao, writers Nora and Lilla Zuckerman, and executive producer Gail Berman, who was part of the original series. Joss Whedon, the creator of the original show, is not involved with the reboot. For now, all eyes are on Nova. If Hulu moves forward with the series, this new chapter could take us somewhere completely different while honoring the past.

Khloé Kardashian Breaks Silence On Reason For New Found Caregiver Role

Khloé Kardashian wears her heart on her sleeve, and for Amari Thompson, she would do anything. The mother-of-two opened up about why she needed to fill in the big shoes of looking after Tristan Thompson's younger brother after their mother, Andrea Thompson. Khloé Kardashian welcomed two kids with the NBA player, True Thompson in 2018 and Tatum Thompson in 2022, during their on-and-off relationship, which lasted for about five years and officially ended in 2021. Khloé Kardashian Is Pleased To Have Amari Thompson As A Part Of Her Family The reality star shared on her podcast that after Andrea passed away in 2023, it became important for them to pay extra attention to Amari, who has also lost his primary caregiver in the person of his mother. Hence, she continued that the family decided to take Amari back to the United States, as he lived with Andrea in Canada. Tristan also filed to become Amari's sole caregiver after they laid Andrea to rest. Khloé explained that Tristan's schedule was another hurdle they needed to scale since he was always on the move, and Amari's health could absolutely not withstand that kind of stress due to the multiple seizures. The Hulu star then noted that the whole family finally decided that Amari should stay with her in Los Angeles. The weather in the area is also excellent for his health, and Amari enjoys the company of Khloé, her family, and her two kids. "We just want to provide Amari with the best, most beautiful life that we know how. And he deserves that," the podcaster concluded on the season finale of her "Khloé in Wonderland" podcast. She also affirmed that Amari is under expert care around the clock with the most experienced team of caregivers. The 41-Year-Old Is Doing It All For The Love Of Tristan's Late Mother Khloé added that her phenomenal relationship with Tristan's mother, despite the complicated bond between her and Tristan, aided her relationship with Amari. She also recalled getting active with Andrea on Amari's treatments and medical records. According to Khloé, Andrea "would have questions, she would need connections to certain doctors, and I would help with that. I was very much involved in all of his medical appointments when Andrea was here." The mother-of-two continued that she is fully aware of how much Amari meant to his late mother, and her bond with Tristan's family is not severed by her and Tristan's extinct relationship. That is not all, Khloé stressed the importance of having Amari around to bond with his nieces and nephews and remind her kids that special people deserve love. She added that Amari's presence will teach her kids "compassion" and "understanding." "And I love seeing how Amari lights up when he's around the kids. He can't verbally talk, but … if you know him well enough, he can definitely express himself, and you see the glimmer in his eyes," Khloé noted. Khloé's Family Had An Emotional Reaction To Amari's Seizure During His 18th Birthday As shared by Today, Khloé and her family gathered in her home to celebrate Amari's 18th birthday, as aired in the 6th season of their hit Hulu show "The Kardashians." Khloé described the event as a huge milestone for the youngster who makes every day with him feel like a blessing. However, Amari suffered one of his seizures during the event, which sent chills down Kris Jenner's spine. The younger Thompson suffers from a severe form of epilepsy known as Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, making him in need of a 24/7 assistant. According to the Cleveland Clinic, Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome is a form of childhood epilepsy that causes multiple seizures and exposes the patient to the risk of permanent brain damage. Kris became emotional at the sight of Amari's seizure, noting in a later confessional that the feeling of helplessness when someone is in a state of distress is frustrating. "It's uncontrollable and there's nothing that you can really do, but I'm glad I was here. I'm glad I was here for Amari. I'm glad I was here for Khloé," Kris noted. She expressed her pride in Khloé for handling the situation with so much patience and precision and remaining unwavering in support for Amari. The Good American Founder Got Candid About Parenting Struggles The doting mom and entrepreneur does not pretend about the hassles of raising two kids and how she finds herself needing help. As shared by The Blast, Khloé stated that she will not be stigmatized for seeking additional support with her children. On her podcast, the 41-year-old slammed the culture of shaming moms into battling the stress of parenting in silence. "People that talk sh-t about nannies, we all have help in some capacity. You can call it daycare, you can call it a school, you can call it in-laws, your mother, sister, or whoever. A babysitter," Khloé noted. In a 2024 episode of their reality show, she confided in her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, that not having people to help her with the kids at night usually leaves her overwhelmed and exhausted at night. Khloé Kardashian Spoke On Parenting With Tristan Thompson The reality star and her baby daddy have come a long way in their relationship, whether as ex-lovers or parents of two toddlers. In a story by PEOPLE, the podcaster explained that both of them have gotten to a point in their interaction where they maintain a great friendship borne out of mutual respect. The star admitted last year that they eventually realized they were great individuals separately, but not meant to be partners. However, she commended the professional basketballer for being a very excellent father to their children. Khloé added that parenting comes in multiple facets, all of which she enjoys. In her words, she feels she was made to be a mother, and there is no place she would rather be than at home with her babies. Solve the daily Crossword
