In a now viral clip, a woman can be seen yelling at passengers and crew on board the flight.
The row is reported to have taken place on an Air India Express flight from Bengaluru to Surat.
A woman, identified as Dr Vyas Hiral Mohanbhai, 36, was taken off the flight and detained by police following the incident on Tuesday, the Indian Express has reported.
She reportedly left her bag in the front row of the plane before making her way to her seat 20 F.
The plane had been due to take off at around 2.30 pm.
But when cabin crew objected to where she had placed her bag and asked her to stow it in her overhead locker, she refused, according to NDTV.
She is said to have instead insisted that cabin crew move her bag to her seat for her.
But despite requests from the crew and an intervention from the captain, she still declined to comply - leading to the chaotic row.
She also shouted at passengers who attempted to reason with her.
The situation then escalated further when she allegedly yelled threats about crashing the plane, local media has reported.

This prompted the crew to alert security, who removed her from the flight.
She was subsequently booked by Bengaluru International Airport Limited police.
A dramatic video of the alleged incident has circulated online, which shows a woman shouting at crew and fellow passengers - despite their best efforts to pacify her.
The cabin crew can be seen trying in vain to calm her down, while some passengers also attempt to intervene.
At one point, the woman can even be seen appearing to strike another passenger.
It took place on a flight operated by Air India Express, which is a subsidiary of Air India.
The incident comes days after the horrifying crash of Air India flight 171 in Ahmedabad last week.
All passengers and crew - except for one miracle survivor - died in the crash, which killed at least 270 people.
The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner had been en route to London Gatwick, but crashed less than a minute after take-off.
India's Ministry of Civil Aviation said the tragic incident remains under investigation and that more information will be provided in due course.

First ever bombshell vid of infamous ‘Mosul orb' UFO is released after US spy cams captured mysterious object over Iraq

The declassified video, filmed in 2016 by a US MC-12 surveillance aircraft, shows a mysterious metallic spherical object flying over the city of Mosul. The object appeared suddenly and moved erratically in and out of the camera's view. The clip was obtained by Dustin Slaughter, a leading UFO investigator, through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request - and was shown to the public by UFO podcaster Jeremy Corbell. It comes two years after the first still image from the video was declassified by the Pentagon. read more on UFOs FROM THE CLOUDS 'Disc-shaped' UFO 'spotted by US military' in newly released eerie footage The image was part of a classified briefing for US officials and was later released to the public. It's considered part of the ongoing investigation into unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) by the US intelligence community. Corbell said at the time: "For the first time, we are releasing a military filmed image of a UAP over an active conflict zone,' he said. 'UAP pose a significant risk to our service men and women, and this case highlights this – and is unfortunately not unique. 'Origin, capability, operator and intent have not been determined in relation to this intelligently controlled UFO over Mosul, Iraq. "At a minimum UAP pose a fundamental intelligence and combat identification problem that must be addressed.' 'Disc-shaped' UFO spotted by US military in eerie footage newly released to public - 'It has implications that are huge' Meanwhile, another declassified UFO footage showed a similar mystery metal orb soaring above the ground - leaving US officials puzzled. In 2023, A testimony was heard at Capitol Hill, Washington DC, as the Pentagon's All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office revealed the shocking clips. The videos released in the declassified cases are said to have been observed by US military drones. The footage showed a mystery "metal orb" as it hovered and flew across open airspace. The incidents were believed to have been recorded in the Middle East and South Asia. Corbell has been behind a string of high-profile leaks featuring encounters between UFOs and the US military one which was played at a landmark hearing held by Congress. He urged the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office to dedicate resources to 'this enduring mystery on behalf of the American and global public'. Corbell had previously directed 2018 documentary film Bob Lazar: Area 51 and the Flying Saucers. It tells the story of Lazar, who claims to be a former US government physicist who worked with tech from UFOs. It comes after a picture claiming to show a 1,000ft wide silver UFO flying over the US was released by an infamous Pentagon whistleblower. The picture was allegedly snapped by an airline pilot in 2021 while flying 21,000ft above the Four Corners Monument - spanning New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. The spooky picture shows what looks like a circular object floating above the Earth. The UAP Disclosure Fund shared the image on X, and wrote: 'Captured near Four Corners at FL20 — estimated 600 – 1,000 ft in diameter, silver-hued, disc-shaped.' 'Several speakers confirmed Department of Defense and Intelligence Community hold hundreds of similar UAP images + sensor files still classified. 'It's time for full declassification and open scientific analysis.' But sceptics were quick to challenge the discovery - claiming the photo merely showed irrigation circles that are common in desert climates.

‘Father' paid to give away girl, 9, at fake Disneyland wedding to Brit paedo reveals incredible mission to raise alarm

Vitalijs, a former Russian special forces paratrooper, raised the alarm on Londoner Jacky Jhaj, 39, who was set to "marry" the Ukrainian schoolgirl in a fake £111,000 ceremony. The sex offender was allegedly the "groom" in a twisted mock wedding ceremony in which the nine-year-old girl was meant to act as his "bride". The bizarre wedding was played out before 100 guests at Disneyland Paris' Sleeping Beauty Castle. Vitalijs, who only uses his first name for security reasons, revealed he was offered the equivalent of £550 to play "the father of the bride". He was first told he would be giving away the girl's 41-year-old mother. But when he realised the "bride" was instead an underage girl, he immediately refused to be a part of the bizarre act- and plotted a plan to take down the fake wedding. Vitalijs, who said he served as a paratrooper in the Red Army before the collapse of the old Soviet Union, added: "I knew I had to do something." On the morning of the wedding, the 54-year-old Latvian broke into the Paris Disneyland without a pass and raised the alarm on the fake wedding. Vitalijs, who does not speak French or English, said his special forces training to get in and carried a note with him. It read: "This is not a real wedding. The girl is nine years old!" Dramatic footage shows riot cops clashing with furious locals as suspected sex offender is bundled into van by officers Vitalijs said he approached the wedding stage and handed the note to Disney staff, who saw a "scared and confused" child in a big dress with four-inch heels taped to her feet. They then ensured the wedding was stopped immediately. French cops arrived within minutes, and several suspects, including Jhaj, were arrested and taken into custody. Vitalijs was driven to a police station, where he was shown a fake British passport with his photo on it. Vitalijs said: "I found out that my passport had been forged. I only remember the first name, Mikhail. I don't remember the surname. "I remembered that a woman in Riga [Latvia] had asked me for a passport photo for a pass to Disneyland. "Of course, I told the police that it wasn't me and that it wasn't my passport." 7 A bracelet given to guests at the fake ceremony showed the name 'Jack' as the pretend husband on behalf of paedophile Jacky Credit: Instagram/bfmtv 7 Guests at the twisted mock 'wedding rehearsal' in front of Disneyland Paris' Sleeping Beauty castle Credit: 7 Footage showed the mock wedding rehearsal Vitalijs was released without charge, as was the Ukrainian mother and her child. He said he had got to know the pair after meeting them at a casting session for the Disneyland stunt in the Czech Republic in May. The mum told him she had known Jhaj for a year, even took her daughter on a holiday with the sex offender while also accepting cash from him. Jhaj has been described as the "mastermind" behind the sick stunt. After his arrest, the convicted paedophile told the examining magistrates in Meaux: "I'm just a simple actor who took part in a film shoot". His lawyer, Jean-Christophe Ramadier, said Jhaj was solely placed in "provisional custody" because "he had no guarantee of legal representation in France, where he has no address". In 2016, Jhaj was found guilty of sexual activity with two 15-year-olds in Britain. Jean-Baptiste Bladier, the Meaux prosecutor, confirmed the Ukrainian child had not suffered "any violence, neither physical nor sexual" and had "not been forced into playing the bride". Mr Bladier said Jhaj "played the role of the groom after having been professionally made up to display a face completely different from his own" The investigation into the fake wedding continues.
