SummerSlam 2025: WWE reveals stage at MetLife Stadium
SummerSlam has served as one of the sports entertainment company's biggest events of the year, dating back to 1988.
This year's SummerSlam card will unfold over two days for the first time in the event's history. WWE has run a two-night event in recent years for its biggest event of the year: WrestleMania.
SummerSlam is treated similarly to WrestleMania with special celebrity guests, such as Cardi B and Jelly Roll, and a custom stage built within the stadium.

'The woman who rear ended my family and then drove off [when] we pulled over, hope your karma finds you," she wrote in the since-expired post, per Page Six. 'Thankfully everyone was OK but what kind of human does that?' Moore shares three children with her husband, musician Taylor Goldsmith: sons August "Gus" Harrison, 4, and Oscar "Ozzie" Bennett, 2, as well as daughter Louise "Lou" Everett, 10 months. The actress didn't specify in her post which of her family members were present during the accident. Moore has been candid about her family's struggles following the loss of their Los Angeles home in the Eaton Fire in January. On Feb. 11, she posted a photo of her house on Instagram, sharing that 'the contents of our home are a near total loss" due to its proximity to the fires and other burning structures. Moore previously said on Jan. 9 that 'miraculously' the 'main part' of the house was 'still standing.' "Pretty much everything will have to be disposed of…maybe even the walls too," she wrote. "We won't be there for a very long time as it and the neighborhood itself get sorted out and cleaned and the rebuilding starts." Six months after the fires, Moore's friend and former This Is Us costar Chrissy Metz shared in an interview with Extra that Moore was "doing well." "I mean, thank goodness. A lot of the structure was able to be salvaged, which is great, but it's so jarring. It's so life-altering, and she has children and pets," Metz said. In an Instagram update in March, Moore revealed that she and Goldsmith, 39, were ready to begin rebuilding, as she shared photos taken before their home burned down. The Eaton Fire was one of a series of wildfires in L.A. that left more than 80,000 people displaced, including numerous celebrities, and destroyed more than 1,000 structures. The deadly blaze ignited on Jan. 7 and was fully contained on Jan. 31, along with the Palisades Fire. Moore and Goldsmith have also been candid about wanting to still have fun as a new family of five amid the loss of their home. Earlier this week, the Tangled star shared an adorable photo of her family on Instagram as she recounted her time spent at the beach on vacation. In the sweet image, Moore could be seen sitting in the surf alongside her husband while her son Ozzy hung on around her neck. Sitting beside the star, Gus was pictured squishing his hands into the sand and looking down. Goldsmith propped up the couple's youngest child, daughter Lou, as she sat in his lap. Other snaps showed the family enjoying the beach and watching sunsets. Reds' Tyler Stephenson dons Ricky Bobby-inspired gear at Speedway Classic
BRISTOL, Tenn. — As soon as he heard about the game at Bristol Motor Speedway, Cincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson began brainstorming something special he could do for the game. Stephenson, whose walk-up music at Great American Ball Park is the Starlight Vocal Band's 'Afternoon Delight' from the movie 'Anchorman,' immediately thought about another of his favorite movies, Will Ferrell's 2006 romp, 'Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.' Advertisement 'A classic movie, and they did a great job, and I decided to wear it,' Stephenson said before the game. In honor of both NASCAR and one-time Cincinnati Red Farrell, Stephenson contacted his reps at Evoshield to create catching gear based on the Wonder Bread-sponsored No. 26 car. Stephenson's chest protector is mostly white, featuring a take on the Wonder Bread logo with 'Cincinnati' in place of the company's name. There are other details that make the outfit, including flames on the shoulders, the Speedway Classic logo, Stephenson's No. 37 in a race car-like font, the Reds' 'C' logo with checkered flags and the name 'Tyler Robby' stitched on the bottom of the chest protector. The shin guards are the primary red, white and blue of Wonderbread, and his hockey goalie-style catcher's mask is a work of art with racing graphics and other touches. A born-and-bred Georgian, Stephenson said he didn't grow up as a NASCAR fan, but was struck by just the size of Bristol Speedway, which has a seating capacity of 146,000 and at least 85,000 spectators for Saturday's baseball game. 'It's a sweet facility,' Stephenson said. 'It turned out even better than the pictures online. It's a totally different feel than the 'Field of Dreams' game. The historical part of 'Field of Dreams' was cool, but this is obviously a much bigger stage. What is it, 85,000-90,000 fans? It's like playing in front of a football crowd.' Stephenson was injured in 2022 when the Reds played in the 'Field of Dreams' game in Iowa, but still went with the team to the game to experience it. Fellow Reds catcher Jose Trevino had a pair of cleats customized commemorating a different racing movie, Pixar's 'Cars.' Trevino had his Lightning McQueen-inspired cleats signed by both Tim McGraw and Pitbull, who performed pregame. Advertisement Stephenson was a senior in high school when Farrell played with the Reds during spring training of 2015, but the catcher said he'd love for Farrell to come back to the Reds any time. Not only does Stephenson use a song from a Farrell film as his walk-up song, but when he was in the minor leagues, he and then-teammate Taylor Trammell posed together like in their Daytona Tortugas uniforms in the pose from the movie 'Stepbrothers,' another Farrell film with John C. Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair put differences aside to win WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam
Friends or not, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss entered SummerSlam as the veteran WWE stars who had the experience edge in a match against Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Saturday night. Flair entered the premium live event with five wins at SummerSlam, while Bliss has proven she could win tag-team gold with almost anyone. Bliss told Fox News Digital earlier in the week that while she and Flair didn't have much experience together, neither did Perez and Rodriguez. It was the veterans who put their competitive fire to good use to take home the gold despite some miscommunication during the match. Perez took over as tag-team champion with Rodriguez as she infiltrated the Judgment Day faction. She took the place of an injured Liv Morgan. She and Rodriguez showed that they could work together and cut off the ring from Bliss and Flair. Perez countered Bliss' Twist of Bliss maneuver to get her team back into the match. Flair showed her prowess with a fallaway slam on Perez and getting both Perez and Rodriguez on their backs for an moonsault. She pinned Rodriguez but only got a two count. But Bliss made a huge mistake when she accidentally nailed Flair with a forearm. Rodriguez hit a Tejana Bomb on Flair, and Perez added a Pop Rocks. Bliss interrupted the pin attempt to rectify the mistake, a sigh of relief for Bliss. Bliss set Perez up for a Sister Abigail. Flair nailed Rodriguez with a big boot. Bliss executed her finisher and pinned Perez. It was the first championship to change hands on the night. It's the second tag-team title for Flair and the fourth for Bliss.
