Major Name In Town For WWE RAW Taping (Potential Spoilers)
Will Pittsburgh get Stratusfied? It seems like that could be the case. According to reports from both Fightful (via Fightful Select) and WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus is in Pittsburgh. The city will host a double taping this week. There will be a live broadcast of WWE RAW, followed by a SmackDown taping that will air Friday. Earlier this week, Fightful reported that it's possible that WWE could have Stratus wrestle at Evolution later this month. WWE has expressed interest in having Trish at Evolution, although there was nothing locked in at that time. Now, Fightful reports that WWE creative pitched a program between Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton. However, it was stressed that the claim internally was that those plans were not finalized as of this weekend. In addition, Trish Stratus is in Pittsburgh, but it's unclear if she would be on the WWE RAW broadcast or SmackDown taping, or both. WWE Evolution takes place in Atlanta on July 13. Jacy Jayne vs. Jordynne Grace for the NXT Women's Championship is the only match that has been confirmed for the event so far. WWE Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan was scheduled to compete at the event. However, the shoulder injury she recently suffered on WWE RAW has caused some changes to be made to the lineup. Trish Stratus last competed for WWE at Elimination Chamber in Toronto. There, she and Stratton defeated Candice LeRae and Nia Jax. Trish recently reflected on that match and shared her excitement for working with the new generation, and teased 'more Stratusfaction' coming soon. WWE Contract Status for 2 'Monday Night Raw' Stars With Expiring Deals
WWE Contract Status for 2 'Monday Night Raw' Stars With Expiring Deals originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Two current members of the WWE roster are in a contract year, and an update has surfaced on their current deals. Advertisement WWE assesses its roster space multiple times per year. The company constantly brings in new talent for shows such as "Monday Night Raw" and developmental programs such as "NXT" and "Evolve." As new stars enter, some seasoned veterans fall victim to roster cuts. In the case of Karrion Kross and his wife, Scarlett, many have been wondering if the act will stick around in WWE past 2025. Fightful reports that while some backstage feel that Kross and Scarlett will have their deals renewed, the pair's contracts are coming due in August. Karrion Kross attempts to get under the skin of Sami Zayn during a backstage interaction.(via WWE) Kross has been able to garner some buzz online in recent months. His efforts have paid off, as fans have been reacting to his appearances on TV despite the fact that he only recently found himself in a PLE match for the first time since "WrestleMania 40." Kross is currently involved in a storyline with Sami Zayn, which was not settled following their singles match at "Night of Champions." Advertisement Scarlett plays a significant role in the presentation of the Kross character. Whenever Kross begins to let his emotions get in the way of his plans, Scarlett reminds her husband of their ultimate goal. She's also vital for Kross' entrance, which has been praised since their days on the "NXT" brand. Those who believe Kross and Scarlett will be sticking around point to the fact that the act has new merchandise for sale on WWE Shop. It certainly doesn't hurt that the two have become regulars on the "Raw" brand. Major WWE, Saudi Arabia News Emerges on Tuesday
Major WWE, Saudi Arabia News Emerges on Tuesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Saudi Arabia has been making some serious moves in the world of sports lately, and if you've been paying attention, you know combat sports are right at the center of it all. The WWE and UFC have both set up shop there more than once, hosting blockbuster events that draw fans from around the globe. Advertisement But if you thought this was just a passing trend, think again. The WWE's latest move in the kingdom shows that Saudi Arabia isn't just dipping its toes in the water. It's ready to make a long-term splash in the fight game. WWE's next big show in Saudi Arabia is already locked in: Royal Rumble 2026 will bring the action back to Riyadh in January. According to Fightful, planning for the event kicks off in just a few weeks. That's not all fans in the Kingdom can look forward to. WWE is reportedly lining up two more Premium Live Events there next year: one in May and another in November. The live crowd in Saudi Arabia witnesses the opening match at the "WWE Night of Champions" PLE.(via WWE) The November date has people talking since it's so close to Survivor Series, which traditionally lands around Thanksgiving. Word is, though, that the Saudi event won't be Survivor Series — unless WWE decides to move Survivor Series away from its usual holiday weekend slot, which seems unlikely. Advertisement No official dates or venues have been confirmed yet for the extra shows, but one thing's for sure: Saudi Arabia is becoming a major stop on WWE's global tour, and fans can expect some big-time action heading their way in 2026.
