Pamela Anderson vows to 'do it her way' as she opens up about her second chance
Pamela Anderson is relishing her second chance at acting after making peace with her past. Now 57, Pammy - who rose to fame in the early 1990s as Baywatch lifeguard CJ Parker – is living life on her own terms.
And after five marriages, that includes enjoying being single for now. 'I'm just trying to live this part of my life as authentically as possible,' she says. 'I feel like because I've been given this second chance, I get to do it my way. If anyone comes into my life, I have to trust it won't interfere with my shot.'
It's a new era for former Playboy model Pamela, who is loving her acting renaissance after retreating from the spotlight following he r sex tape scandal. It saw the private movie she made with then husband, rocker Tommy Lee Jones, stolen and leaked to the in 1995.

'I knew that I had more to give, but I thought, 'Oh well, not in this lifetime, I guess,' because of what had happened in my personal life and my career,' the star said of the devastating saga. 'I thought, 'I'll just do what I have to do to keep the lights on and be with my kids.''
She opened up about the difficulty she felt shielding her sons Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27, from the aftermath. Pamela recalled: 'I would pick them up from surf camp and they'd be like, 'Are you Pamela Anderson? What is that? The kids are saying all these things about you, Mom.'
"You want to share things with your children age-appropriately, but they always found out before. I mean, what could be worse than what happened to their father and me?'
Moving away from the showbiz world, Pamela now enjoys a quieter life on Vancouver Island. 'I wanted to remember who I was, so I went back to where the trees have known me since birth,' explained Pamela.
'I rewrote my life and literally replanted my garden to see what would grow. I thought, 'I'm going to make pickles and jams, and I can be perfectly happy here.' Sometimes when you think it's the end, it's really the beginning. That's what it was for me.'
A Broadway role as Roxie Hart in musical Chicago brought Pamela back into the spotlight. 'That just opened me up again,' she said. Recently starring in acclaimed movie The Last Showgirl, she features in upcoming comedy The Naked Gun alongside Liam Neeson, 73.
'It's going to show a different side of me,' she teased. 'I feel every film I do lately is healing various parts of me. And you need a big, messy life to draw from if you want to make these kinds of things interesting.'
Since her return, Pammy has gone without make-up. She says she's always been a 'rebel' as she pushes back against beauty conventions. The actress says she's 'surrendering' to ageing as she proudly walks red carpets with no make up on.
'I think that with AI technology and filters, people are becoming kind of boring-looking,' she explained. 'I want to challenge beauty norms. I've always been a rebel. I never see somebody and think, 'I want to look like that.'
"I just want to see who I am. At some point you have to say, 'This is all I've got'. Surrender to it. And it's real happiness. It's freedom to know you can walk on a red carpet without a stitch of make-up on. I mean, why can't I? Men do it all the time.'

Ironheart Season 1 Review – Another forgettable MCU project

Unfortunately, Ironheart is the newest project in that group. Although it has a few interesting ideas and a good cast, with Dominique Thorne as the titular hero, the show is rarely entertaining. Riri Williams returns to Chicago, her hometown, to rebuild her suit and a super AI as we kick off the end of Phase 5. However, she's got no money for it. As a result, RiRi is swept up in a life of crime, working with The Hood and his gang of criminals. Ironheart's biggest problem is the number of elements it needs to handle and its inability to accomplish that in the course of six episodes. Talking about The Hood's plot alone, there are already many factors to coordinate. The villain's backstory, his crew, Riri's life of crime weighing on her, the use of magic, and the heists, to name but a few. However, there are even more working pieces, such as Riri's own tragic backstory, her AI, a blooming romance, and another important antagonist, Ezekiel Stane. Because of that, there's not enough time to develop anything well. Consequently, viewers can't latch onto any idea. When Riri joins The Hood, for example, there's no weight to her decision to team up with criminals. The show only brings that up once a mission goes wrong, then her doubts about being a bad person become relevant. But, as it had no gravity before, it's hard to feel captivated by her dilemma. This is before mentioning how lazy decisions and conveniences often happen for a quick resolution. Ezekiel starts as a friend of Riri's, but he soon begins to hate her. In their first fight, he spews out his revengeful supervillain speech and seems overjoyed in destroying the girl's armour. But when he gets the chance to kill her seconds later, he goes back on what he said and immediately gives up. But the villain who suffers the most is Parker Robbins, The Hood. Anthony Ramos is a good actor, but he isn't menacing at all. For the majority of Ironheart, he and his crew give off the vibe of lackeys more than of dangerous criminals. His cloak only makes him seem goofier and it's hard to overstate how much of a terrible costume design it is. The series attempts to explore his backstory, but it never goes deep enough so it feels like the result of another lazy decision. Ultimately, The Hood joins the (massive) list of half-baked and forgettable MCU villains. Sadly, the protagonist suffers the same fate. She has many flaws, which could help her be more relatable. But we don't watch her grow or even try to overcome these flaws, so viewers can't sympathize with her struggles. The dramatic scenes are great, mostly thanks to the cast, but they are far and few between. The same goes for the action. It's always fluid and creative, being very fun to watch. Yet, with so many aspects to handle, two of them working well doesn't save the show. Episode 6 has an incredible fight between Riri and The Hood, in which we finally see her mixing magic with technology. It's visually creative, presents high stakes for both her and Parker, and has a smart twist that leads to her victory. The last episode also delivers a few good dialogues and drama, making it the best of the bunch. However, watching it is weird. Everything is tied to plot threads that can be developed in a future season or movie that seems unlikely to happen. Regardless of how good these moments are, it's too late to change the story, and they probably won't lead to anything. Ironheart proves that Dominique Thorne is a good choice for the character, but that she also deserves a better project. Even if not in a future season, it'd be nice seeing her act as Riri Williams once again with a script that can develop her character more.

Frankie Grande's energy levels are off the charts. He's not long stepped off a flight from Los Angeles, but he smiles and chats with so much charm and charisma that you'd never have guessed it. His leather jacket, glittered cheeks and heavily ripped jeans have somehow made me feel both underdressed and overdressed at the same time. The 42-year-old is in town to perform at Pride in London, the capital's annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. "It's a beautiful place with so many people of different backgrounds," he told ITV News. "The LGBTQ+ community has always been so accepted here, especially in music. I do think you have broken many queer artists here before the United States." US native Frankie has long since been an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, using his fame and social media reach - which is in the millions - to raise awareness and call for equality. He said: "I'm so blessed that I have such an amazingly accepting family who has allowed me to be my authentic self and supported me through some of the difficulties of being a public figure who is out, loud and proud! "But I know there is a lot of people in this world, especially in my country, who are being told, maybe don't be so loud, maybe don't be so proud, maybe get back in the closet actually because it is getting a little dicey. "As someone who has the privilege to be this gay publicly, I'm really grateful to be handing the microphone, and I'm hoping to inspire younger people to feel empowered and to be themselves authentically." At the end of last month, the former reality TV star released his first album, 'Hotel Rock Bottom', which takes listeners into his life before and after sobriety. "I'm eight years sober," he told ITV News. "Had I tried to release an album while I was drinking and using, I probably would have never released it, it probably would never have seen the light of day." "If it did, god knows what it would have sounded like. I'm grateful that I took my time and waited until my instrument was clean and pure, and I could tell the stories that I wanted to tell." Frankie's half-sister Ariana knows a thing or two about releasing music; the popstar has sold more than 90 million albums and won two Grammy awards. Reflecting on her support and advice, Frankie said: "She's been unbelievable throughout this process. I think the thing she's learnt throughout her many years in the music industry is to trust her gut. "For me, as a fledgling artist, I am scared to trust my gut; I will overthink things if I'm allowed to. "I learnt from her to trust your gut, and it will lead you on the path that you are supposed to go down." He's produced and starred in a number of Broadway shows and appeared on Big Brother USA back in 2014. The fluidity of today's media landscape really appeals to Frankie, he loves that "you can be a multi-hyphenate." "When I was coming off of Big Brother, people told me that I had to pick a lane, reality TV or stage actor. Now, we are embracing that you can do everything all at once, and so I plan on doing that." "I just love performing."

The Office star announces he QUIT comedy and says it's ‘been an amazing run' as fans beg him to reconsider
A HUGE star has announced he's stepping back from his comedy career - and fans are devastated. The Office actor and comedian has sent shockwaves across social media by announcing his surprise exit. 6 The 53-year-old former host of The Masked Dancer has teased fans of his TV and stage departure. Craig Robinson - otherwise known as Darryl Philbin on The Office - says he's hanging up his comedy boots and moving on. The Chicago native posted a video on social media and teased fans with the announcement. He wrote alongside it: "Life update: I'm officially quitting comedy to focus on my true calling. Stay tuned. I'm working on something huge." In the video, he said: "Hey everybody. Just want you to hear it from me. I am quitting comedy, but not for nothing. 'It's been an amazing run, and y'all been amazing and wonderful. 'But I'm following something bigger. So, you know, thank you so much. I love you, and stay tuned.' He added in a second video: "Turns out having a dream and building a business with your friends are two VERY different things. "I can't go into detail just yet, but for real though any help would be huge." Fans commented: "I hope you're doing something in music, bro!! Whatever you end up doing I'm sure it's gonna turn into gold." A second vouched: "This BETTER not be true!!! But you're looking great in the meantime!" A third penned: "Whatever you do it will be sensational." "Now I feel honored to have seen one of your last performances as a stand up comic!!!" exclaimed a fan. The multi-talented star landed his first major role on the show and has gone on to appear across film and television in various comedic and presenting roles. The Office ran for 188 episodes, from 2005 to 2013 in the US. Even years later, the show is a fan favorite – and the show's followers were heartbroken when the series left Netflix.
