6 adorable Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson TikToks from 'Naked Gun' tour
Frank Drebin is back, this time with Liam Neeson playing the lead cop in the new The Naked Gun movie. Neeson is Frank Drebin Jr., the son of the iconic Leslie Nielsen character from 1988's The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, with Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl) and Paul Walter Hauser (The Fantastic Four: First Steps) joining the fun. The movie has gotten outstanding reviews, currently sitting at a 91 percent on Rotten Tomatoes with over 130 reviews. The chemistry on screen — both romantically and comedically — between Neeson, 73, and Anderson, 58, is undeniable, and this week the couple seemed to confirm a real-life relationship. Anderson even described her excitement at seeing Neeson's name on the daily call sheet on set. The press tour for The Naked Gun has provided some utterly adorable moments for the duo, and it has led to so many wonderful TikToks as the couple heaped praise on each other and gushed over what a delight it was to star in the movie together. Is there a post credit scene in 'The Naked Gun'?
Liam Neeson is bringing comedy back to theaters this week as The Naked Gun premieres August 1 nationwide. The reboot of the longtime Leslie Nielsen-led franchise has garnered praise from critics, sitting with an approval rating over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Neeson is joined by Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl) and Paul Walter Hauser (The Fantastic Four: First Steps) in the cop comedy, with incredible supporting performances from Danny Huston (Succession), CCH Pounder (NCIS: New Orleans) and Kevin Durand (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes). Moviegoers might be curious to know whether or not they should stick around after the credits for more bonus content. So, does The Naked Gun have a post-credit scene? Much like the Naked Gun movies before it, The Naked Gun makes it worth your while to stick around for the credits to enjoy gag bits thrown into the actual credits themselves. This means some hidden Easter egg jokes in the words that are scrolling, but you should also stick around to hear Neeson singing. In the movie, Neeson references recording a song. Well, you get to hear it, and it's utterly hilarious. The Naked Gun is the funniest movie of the year, and you won't regret hanging out a little longer in the theater.

The Naked Gun first reviews: Critics hail Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson-starrer, call it the funniest film of the year
The first reviews for Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson's action-comedy The Naked Gun are in! Review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes shared that the legacy sequel opened with majorly positive reviews, and scored a Fresh score at 98% on the Tomatometer, with 48 reviews. If the first reviews are any indication, we might very well expect a great time in the theatres in the coming week as the film opens in theatres. Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson earned rave reviews for The Naked Gun. What are the critics saying Indiewire's David Ehrlich called it the 'funniest American movie in years.' His review read, 'A comedy that references everything from Elon Musk to racially motivated police violence without letting its virtues get in the way of its laughs, and even trots out the r-word in a scene that has the power to make activists and edgelords alike both cackle at the same joke (although the Elon stand-in is clearly meant to be the butt of it). While that choice might sound like the symptom of a feckless movie that's afraid of alienating some portion of its audience, in context, it epitomizes how brilliantly this 'Naked Gun' navigates the difference between timeless stupidity and retrograde madness.' David Rooney of The Hollywood Reporter reviewed, 'Neeson and Anderson have enough spark to carry the film, not to mention great chemistry. I could have done without the padding of a winter cabin romantic interlude with a killer snowman — there's a difference between dumb and annoyingly stupid — but their scenes together are the high points throughout.' The big-screen comedy we have been waiting for? 'There's barely a shot or line of dialogue that isn't a joke, and the film has a stunning (and eye-watering) success rate. In keeping with the original films, it almost never winks, affording a confusingly-accented, psychotically violent Neeson and a femme fatale Pamela Anderson — the B-side to her dramatic comeback in last year's The Last Showgirl — the chance to look absolute foolish with a straight face, and without apology,' read the review from Sidhant Adlakha for Inverse. Meanwhile, The Daily Beast review by Nick Schager read, 'Schaffer wastes no time diving headfirst into lunacy, and that's where he keeps things for the rest of his film's fleet 85 minutes, all of which are spent alternating between random bits related to the material's nominal narrative, and total non sequiturs designed to elicit out-of-left-field chuckles.' The film revolves around the action taken by the son of Lt. Frank Drebin who must succeed in his father's footsteps to prevent the closure of Police Squad. The film also stars Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, and Danny Huston. It is all set to release on August 1.

Friend of Liam Neeson's late wife Natasha weighs in on Pamela Anderson romance
Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson starred alongside each other in a new movie that's sparked major romance rumours, and friends in the industry have given their approval Naked Gun is set to hit the screens this week as fans anticipate the undeniable chemistry between lead actors Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson, but the rumours of their romance have now hit even closer to home. The Hollywood duo made an appearance at SiriusXM Studios in Manhattan on Wednesday, where late-night TV host Andy Cohen chimed in to share his thoughts on the potential pairing. It just so happens that the presenter was "dear friends" with Neeson's late wife of 15 years, Natasha Richardson. In 2009, the actress tragically lost her life in a skiing accident, leaving behind two sons that she shared with the Naked Gun star. Since then, Neeson has only ever been romantically linked to one person, Freya St. Johnston, in what appeared to be a fleeting relationship. The TV host told SiriusXM: "I, and all of the friends in this circle, are very much stanning whatever this is. As I was telling him at the premiere party, I go, "Liam, Pamela is an independent woman, just like Tash was. She loves to cook. "She has her own thing going on. She has two boys. I mean, this just works, and you know? She is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson. She really is. Like what she's been through and how she kind of reclaimed herself and redefined herself." At 58 years old, the ex-Baywatch star has been through quite the transformation in terms of her career in recent years, and playing a part in that was her major movie role just last year. Anderson starred in Gia Coppola's The Last Showgirl, which landed her a Golden Globe nomination, years since she last appeared on screen. While talking to Cohen alongside his new co-star, Neeson quietly held hands with her and even impersonated a kiss on the Today show. The Oscar-nominated actor has been single since the ending of his two-year relationship in 2012, and it seems Cohen would agree it's time for Neeson to find love again. On NBC he gushed about their budding romance, saying: "I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely budding chemistry as two actors. "It was like, "Ooh, this is nice; let's not mould this. Let's just let it breathe." And that's what we did." Adding to the rumours, Anderson opened up to Entertainment Weekly about their connection. She said: "I think I have a friend forever in Liam. We definitely have a connection that is very sincere and very loving. He's a good guy." In the comedy movie, the ex-Playboy cover girl plays the role of a nightclub singer named Beth, alongside Neeson, who stars as Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr. The film, launching this Friday, sees Anderson's second major leading role since her career resurgence of the 2020s, and fans are more than here for it.

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson take chemistry beyond ‘Naked Gun': They're an item
'Naked Gun' co-stars Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are each giving love another shot — and apparently they're doing it together. 'Baywatch' icon Anderson and 'Taken' star Neeson are in a 'budding romance in the early stages' after striking up a connection on their upcoming cop comedy, according to People. A source told the magazine that the actors are 'smitten with each other.' Neither representatives for Anderson, 58, or Neeson, 73, immediately responded Wednesday to The Times' request for comment. The pair of actors, who play love interests in Akiva Schaffer's latest feature, have been singing each other's praises for months but only sparked dating speculation in recent weeks. In the November 2024 edition of People, Anderson and Neeson talked about their on-screen chemistry and their mutual respect. Neeson told the magazine, 'with Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her,' before detailing her work ethic and sense of humor. In turn, Anderson told People at the time that she thought her co-star was 'the perfect gentleman' and was honored to share the screen with him. In Shaffer's 'Naked Gun' reboot, Neeson stars as Frank Drebin Jr. continuing the legacy of his father, the main character of the original films starring Leslie Nielsen. Anderson, who had a buzz-worthy turn in 'The Last Showgirl' earlier this year, stars as femme fatale Beth Davenport. As promotion for the comedy ramped up in recent months, the stars shared more insight about their dynamic, on- and off-screen. Anderson spoke to Entertainment Weekly in May about bonding with Neeson. 'Our chemistry was clear from the start,' she told the outlet. She added that during filming, they shared a love for 'literature and a good laugh,' and baked goods. The model-actor said she would share her home-baked bread, cookies and muffins with her co-star. Elsewhere in her conversation with EW, Anderson said, 'our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic'' throughout the process. The stars looked especially fond of each other as they hit the red carpet in recent weeks for the film's various premieres in the United Kingdom, New York (pictured above), and Berlin. On Tuesday, the duo appeared on the 'Today Show' and leaned heavily into those dating rumors. In an Instagram post promoting their spot on the morning show, Anderson and Neeson pretend to get caught in the middle of a steamy moment. During their 'Today' interview, Anderson and Neeson jokingly took offense when anchor Craig Melvin asked: 'Are you two an item?' 'Craig,' Neesom says, acting disappointed. 'I don't understand the question,' Anderson responds, smiling at her co-star. Neeson continues to respond to Melvin, explaining 'we met on set and we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry ... as two actors.' He added: 'And it was like, 'oh, this is nice.' Let's not mold this. Let's just let it breathe and that's what we did.' After Melvin threw Neeson's answer back at him, the actor suggested the morning news personality was stirring the pot, moving his arms in a circle. Though she kept mostly tight-lipped about the relationship on the 'Today Show' Anderson said in an Instagram post on Tuesday, 'love is in the air.' Oscar-winning 'Schindler's List' star Neeson was previously married to British actor Natasha Richardson, who died in September 2014. They share two sons. Anderson has been married several times. Her first marriage was to rocker Tommy Lee; they were married twice and share two sons. Country rocker Kid Rock, poker player Rick Salomon and builder and bodyguard Dan Hayhurst are also her ex-husbands. 'The Naked Gun' hits theaters Friday.
