Laila Hasanovic may have switched from the racetrack to the tennis court after the former girlfriend of Mick Schumacher was romantically linked to Wimbledon star Jannik Sinner. This rumour began after she was spotted during the French Open final last month.
Sinner, who suffered disappointment at Roland-Garros after losing in the final, had split from former partner Anna Kalinskaya earlier in 2025 and was linked with Hasanovic during the tournament.
Hasanovic had previously spent considerable time with former Formula One driver Mick Schumacher, son of the sport's legendary ace, Michael. According to Bild, she is among the few people to have been permitted into the Schumacher family's inner circle.
It was reported that the F1 star's relatives were "smitten" with the model, and she was the only one of Mick's partners allowed to visit his father, Michael, following his skiing accident in 2013.
However, Hasanovic appears to have moved on from Mick – and potentially to another sport entirely. The Danish model was spotted in the French Open crowd last month as Sinner battled against Carlos Alcaraz in one of the biggest major finals for some time.

A week later, Sinner seemed to dismiss any rumours of a relationship with Schumacher's ex after the Daily Mail reported that a fan had spotted the pair on a date in Copenhagen.
When asked about the situation during a media conference, Sinner said: "No, no, there was no girl. I had just some business with a couple of photo shootings there. That's it. Nothing else."
As the Italian tennis sensation sailed into the second round at Wimbledon, speculation has mounted over whether Sinner will be supported by a new companion in his box at SW19.
The 23-year-old has now been romantically linked with Russian model Lara Leito, following reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport suggesting that the two are an item. The 31-year-old model, known for her past relationship with two-time Oscar winner Adrien Brody, is believed to have met Sinner in Monte Carlo amidst his three-month suspension from tennis.

Yet Sinner appears to want to keep his personal life private, as he told the media at the French Open that he had no romantic involvement with Leito.
He said: "I was very surprised to see some pictures, which, you know, nothing serious ... I'm not in a relationship. So, whoever is asking, that's it. It's all good."
For the moment, Sinner's primary focus is set on overcoming world number 93 Aleksandar Vukic this Wednesday, as he aims to make it to the next round of Wimbledon.

Sonay Kartal eyes Wimbledon quarter-final berth – and British number one ranking
Sonay Kartal does not only have a Wimbledon quarter-final in her sights, but also the British number one spot. Kartal is the only British woman left in the singles draw after Emma Raducanu's brave defeat by top seed Aryna Sabalenka on Friday night. Should she beat Russian veteran Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, the 23-year-old will become the first home female player to reach the last eight since Johanna Konta in 2019. The Brighton pro will also overtake Raducanu and Katie Boulter to become the country's top-ranked woman. That was unthinkable a year ago, when Kartal was ranked 298, and frankly still unlikely a week ago. But Kartal has shown remarkable resilience and intensity to go with her immense talent in victories over Jelena Ostapenko – the 20th seed – Viktoriya Tomova and Diane Parry. 'The drive comes from myself,' she said. 'I'm super disciplined. I'm super determined. When I set my mind to something, I want to achieve it. 'I want to prove to myself that I can do it, as well. I'd say the drive is 100 per cent me.' Kartal made her Wimbledon breakthrough last year, reaching the third round before bowing out to Coco Gauff, and has made superb progress ever since. She felt like she had really arrived on the WTA Tour after picking up a win over a top-20 player, against Beatriz Haddad Maia, at Indian Wells in March. 'Definitely this week,' she added. 'But I would say maybe really Indian Wells for me. I felt like I had good matches, had my first top-20 win there. 'I think even though I maybe haven't backed the results up as much as I would like to prior to this, on the clay as well, I felt like I'd go one or two rounds, then lose the round. 'I still felt like in the matches I won and lost, the ones I lost I felt like I was improving. I felt like the margins I lost by in each match I was making smaller. 'I think it is an accumulation. Definitely this week will help me massively moving forwards.'

Put a cork in it! Player rages at tennis fans as champagne drinkers throw her off game at Wimbledon
A tennis player popped off when an errant champagne cork threw her off her game. World No13 Amanda Anisimova had a hissy fit when a fan at Wimbledon opened a bottle of bubbly as the Russian-American was preparing to serve. Furious at the interruption, she railed: 'Why did you have to open that right now?' Pop goes her concentration: The Russian-American star was preparing her service action in the deciding third set After Anisimova claimed the ensuing point to put herself 30-love up, the chair umpire took a moment to remind the crowd of the importance of silence between points. 'Thank you ladies and gentleman, if you could avoid opening bottles of champagne when the players are about to serve,' the umpire said. On BBC pundit labeled the announcement 'the most Wimbledon warning you've ever heard.' The crowd at No3 Court, however, opted not to heed the umpire's call for long, with another cork flying on to the court during Nuno Borges' clash with Karen Khachanov. Anisimova's good friend Emma Raducanu was similarly affected on No1 Court during her opening match against her compatriot Mimi Xu. During her straight-sets thrashing of the teenager, a cork flew on to the court and almost interrupted the match. 'I'm glad people were having fun today,' Raducanu said during her post-match interview. 'I saw a champagne cork fly onto the court so cheers to you! 'It's really nice to be back. I love the support and I love playing in this atmosphere. 'It's my favorite tournament by far so I'm happy to get another match here.' The cork is said to have landed in the service box during a change of ends, with Raducanu heading onto court to pick it up. Anisimova eventually bypassed Galfi 6-3, 5-7, 6-3, and with the win under her belt, had a more magnanimous message for the crowd in her on-court remarks. 'It was an incredibly tough match,' Anisimova said. 'I just kept fighting, and she was playing some incredibly good tennis. I need to hit the practice courts tomorrow! 'Thank you everyone for the support, it was amazing.' After her match, Anisimova insisted that although the Wimbledon atmosphere took some getting used to, she was enjoying soaking up the energy of the crowd. 'I mean, it kept happening (champagne corks popping),' Anisimova told 'At some point I was, like, "Can everybody just do it on the changeover?" 'It was a bit rowdy on that court, too, because you could hear everyone on the sides that are, like, outside of the court. It was definitely a bit distracting. 'Then again, I have to just adjust, try and focus as much as I can. 'But it can be a little loud when people are doing their external things, but I love the atmosphere and the energy and the crowd supporting me, so it's been good.'

Female Wimbledon star forced to lift up skirt as she is questioned over breaking all-white dress code
WIMBLEDON star Jelena Ostapenko looked baffled as she had her outfit checked by an umpire. The Latvian, 28, was set to play her women's doubles second round match alongside partner Hsieh Su-wei on Court 14. 3 The All England Club enforces a strict dress code for players, forcing them to wear all white. Wearing a confused expression, Ostapenko then lifted her skirt to show her green shorts, which adhere to the rules due to the 2023 changes.
