Vicky McClure left The One Show viewers stunned on Friday evening as she took to the stage for a surprise live performance with rock band Reverend and The Makers. The Line of Duty star, 42, appeared on the BBC programme alongside frontman Jon McClure, 43, and actor Sam Claflin, 39, where they joined hosts Alex Jones, 48, and Clara Amfo, 41, on the sofa for a lively chat. However, it was the unexpected musical moment at the end of the show that really got fans talking. Vicky joined Jon and the band on stage for a performance of their latest track Haircut, which dropped on July 18 - and she didn't disappoint. For the performance, the actress cut a stylish figure in a black tailored jumpsuit featuring velour panels and wide-leg trousers. She completed the look with a pair of silver platform heels as she confidently belted out the energetic tune. Following her incredible performance, fans took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) in droves to praise the star. Last month, the TV star announced to her Instagram followers that she would be joining the band Reverend and The Makers on their new track. In a collaboration post, the band teased their new music video, which shows Vicky and the Reverend and The Makers lead singer Jon performing on stage. They captioned the post: 'HERE IT IS. Vicky joined Jon and the band on stage for a performance of their latest track Haircut, which dropped on July 18 - and she didn't disappoint The rock band also revealed in another post that Vicky's husband, Jonathan Owen, plays the bass on their new hit single. However, it's not the first time the actress has dabbled in the music world. She previously fronted the BBC's Our Dementia Choir documentary, which aired in 2018. The two-part series followed the acclaimed actress as she embarked on a deeply personal journey to explore the true power of music in combatting dementia. In the documentary, filmed in 2018, she formed a choir in her hometown of Nottingham made up entirely of people living with dementia, aiming to discover whether music could make a measurable difference in their lives. Formed during the documentary, Our Dementia Choir is still going strong, coming together to sing and share powerful performances with audiences across the country.

Hollyoaks Later's most shocking moments from gruesome parachute death to ‘raunchiest EVER' sex scenes
HOLLYOAKS Later is well-known for its shocking moments - as it's soon set to return. This post-watershed spin-off originally aired on E4 from 2008 to 2020. 9 9 It notably featured stronger language and edgier plots than the main show. The Sun revealed how Hollyoaks Later is returning as part of the soap's 30th anniversary. A one-off episode will air in autumn as part of the month-long celebrations. Here is a look at some of the spin-off's most shocking moments from over the years. Parachute death 9 Viewers were left gobsmacked by Sarah Barnes' death in 2009 - which occurred in dramatic circumstances. Sarah (Loui Batley), along with her girlfriend Lydia (Lydia Kelly) and past flame Zoe (Zoe Carpenter), all went skydiving. But Lydia's jealousy took over, as she used a knife to sabotage one of the parachutes. Although she intended Zoe to use it, the three got mixed up leaving Lydia with no idea as to who had the faulty parachute. Rather than intervene, the three took to the skies - and Sarah ultimately plunged thousands of feet to her death. Raunchy scenes 9 Hollyoaks Later was no stranger to more more mature or graphic moments. Cheating scandal, rival soap star and huge shocks in Hollyoaks' explosive summer trailer Speaking to Radio 1 in 2012, Jorgie Porter - who played Theresa McQueen - discussed the spin-off show's raunchiest scenes. She said: "What can I say? [The show's] probably the most extreme it's ever been right now. "There's loads of things happening." Jorgie added "I'm embarrassed about one scene [where I'm wearing just] a thong." Decapitated corpse 9 In 2012, Brendan Brady (Emmett J. Scanlan) and Joel Dexter (Andrew Still) teamed up to scare the latter's violent stepfather, Mick. The pair dangled the thug from a lighthouse - only for him to fall to the ground, seemingly to his death. Although Mick survived the fall, Brendan's rival Simon Walker (Neil Newbon) intervened to finish the job. Unaware of this - and wanting to avoid any responsibility for the crime - Brendan got to work on dismembering Mick's corpse. Samurai sword death 9 In Hollyoaks Later's last full series - which aired back in 2013 - Callum Kane went out with a memorable exit. The teen character - played by Laurie Duncan - intervened to save friend Esther Bloom (Jazmine Franks). A bizarre storyline saw Esther targeted by villain Jade Hedy (Lucy Gape) - as the former's transplanted liver once belonged to Jade's ex. Jade prepared to cut Esther up, only for Callum to step in and pay the ultimate price. Coming back to screens The new episode will see the return of Warren Fox and Theresa McQueen to the show as actors Jamie Lomas and Jorgie reprise their roles. And Coronation Street star Tisha Merry is joining Hollyoaks as a series regular with her character Gemma debuting in the late night episode. Jamie said: 'It's great to be back for Hollyoaks 30th celebrations and what better way to return than a Laters. 'Warren has been busy since you last saw him, wanting to rebuild his empire and start afresh after the heartbreak with Mercedes. From Hollyoaks to Hollywood James Corden played a caretaker in the early days of the soap. The former American TV host doesn't have much positive to say about his time on the soap, claiming it was "hell on earth." Since his short-lived time on the show he has gone on to bigger things including smash hit comedy Gavin and Stacey. Rachel Shenton joined the soap as aspiring glamour model Mitzeee Minniver in 2010. Over two years her character was sent to prison, got pregnant and had a number of romantic affairs. Since leaving Hollyoaks she has won an Oscar for best live action short film, The Silent Child. Rachel has also starred in White Gold and All Creatures Great and Small Emmett J. Scanlan played gangster turned anti-hero Brendan Brady. Emmett played the love interest of Steve Hayes, with their romance delighting fans until it turned violent. Since his departure Emmett has appeared in Peaky Blinders, The Fall, Gangs of London and even appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Emma Rigby joined Hollyoaks when she was 15 as Hannah Ahsworth. Hannah's eating disorder storyline was the first of it's kind on TV while other plots included being caught in a fire, gangland drug dealing and running away. Since leaving the soap in 2010 Emma has gone on to star in ABCs Once Upon a Time in Wonderland as the Red Queen. Other roles include guest appearances in Death In Paradise, Ripper Street and Fresh Meat Nico Mirallegro got his big break with Hollyoaks starring as emo Barry 'Newt' Newton. Nico's main storyline in the soap was developing schizophrenia which culminated in a suicide pact. He left the soap in 2010 and went on to star in My Mad Fat Diary, Our Girl, Rillington Place, The Ark and Common, Penance, as well as the Mike Leigh movie Peterloo and was nominated for a Bafta for his role in period drama The Village. Ricky Whittle used Hollyoaks as a stepping stone to break America. He played one of the soap's resident hunks, Calvin Valentine, from 2006 to 2011 - when he was killed off at his wedding. After leaving the soap Ricky cracked America starring in teen drama The 100 and America Gods. He also appeared in Strictly Come Dancing in 2009. Warren Brown joined Hollyoaks in 2005 for a year as evil Andy Holt. His stint on the show consisted of date rape storylines and a crime spree, before eventually being killed off. After leaving Hollyoaks, Warren became a big hitter in TV playing DS Justin Ripley in Luther, as well as major roles in a number of dramas including Liar, The Responder, Homefront and Good Cop. Wallis Day played Holly Cunningham in the soap for years before leaving. In 2021 Wallis won the role of Batwoman in DC's series, taking over from Ruby Rose. 'We'll be filming a lot on location and they're pulling out all the stops so I'm looking forward to it.' Jorgie added: 'It's really exciting to be a part of Laters, I've been in so many over the years and they're always my favourite - hopefully I get a swear word this time. 'Theresa is scheming with an unlikely business partner and it's fun to see her living life on the edge again. 'It's incredible to time my return with the Hollyoaks 30th birthday week too, I couldn't miss it.' 9 9
