Dunelm's 'gorgeous' £20 lamp is 'perfect' for areas with no plug
Dunelm shoppers are heaping praise on a "gorgeous" lamp they've been snapping up online. The retailer is well known for its on-trend and affordable homeware - and there may just be a new favourite.
The Keko Rechargeable Touch Dimmable Table Lamp is priced at £20 and has a run time of six to eight hours. It is rechargable, can be moved around the home, and is available in black, grey or green.
The full Dunelm product description reads: "Designed in a beautiful choice of colourways to suit anyone's home decors, the Keko Rechargeable Table Lamp features a rechargeable integrated bulb design, taking up to four hours to fully charge, which can then be unplugged and moved around from room to room allowing access to areas away from a socket.
"The touch control allows for easy switching on and off as well as being able to set your own desired brightness for that perfect ambience. The Keko lamp has a run time of six to eight hours before requiring to be recharged. What more could you ask for?"
Alternatively, shoppers could opt for the Charcoal Grey Kit Table Lamp from Next for £22. Argos also stocks the Habitat Vanern Dimple 42cm Glass Table Lamp for £35, while M&S has the £20 Metal Dome Table Lamp.
The Dunelm lamp racked up rave reviews online, gaining a four star rating from shoppers. Among the many comments, one person said: "Looks designer and gives a gorgeous glow. Great light that looks much more expensive than it is! Gorgeous dark green colour and three brightness settings - perfect for my hall entranceway that doesn't have a socket."
A second wrote: "So convenient, can be used anywhere if there is no plug socket nearby. Looks modern and stylish." A third added: "Needed a table lamp for my new workroom where the table isn't near a socket and this is perfect. Charges quickly and lasts for hours."
However, some shoppers were disappointed with the battery life. One shopper wrote: "It doesn't hold its charge - I turn it on and by the end of the evening it's turned itself off - even though it still has power."
Another said: "These lights so not even last the evening. You have to recharge them to frequently if you want them to throw any light out."
Despite this, many shoppers continued to praise the lamp. One person said: "Excellent rechargeable lamp for my hallway, perfect size and a gorgeous colour green."
Another added: "Gorgeous lamp, a lovely green. Perfect addition to our sideboard." A third wrote: "I love this light! It's super stylish and cute and gives out a warm lovely glow. Two settings so goes from soft to brighter.
"I use it on my desk next to my laptop when it starts to get dark late afternoon. Perfect light and avoids having to switch on a harsher overhead light. Am likely order more for the bedrooms. Great price too."
