Hilaria Baldwin Teaches Her Kids About Death At Cemeteries
For context, Hilaria and Alec Baldwin share seven children: daughters Ilaria, 2, María, 4, and Carmen, 11, along with sons Eduardo, 4, Romeo, 6, Leonardo, 8, and Rafael, 9.
If you follow Hilaria or Alec, or even just go on the internet from time to time, you'll probably know they're suuuuper open when it comes to discussing parenting. And now, Hilaria has shared a surprising tip about how she helps her children get comfortable with the prospect of death.
Appearing on this week's episode of Kate and Oliver Hudson's Sibling Revelry podcast, Hilaria and Oliver got into a conversation about his fear of death, and how it's 'gotten worse' since he had kids. 'It's not even a selfish thing,' he said. 'It's more about my children.'
In response, Hilaria agreed that she feels the same anxieties, but that she's found a way of making sure that death isn't something her children live in fear of.
'I think I bring my kids to cemeteries a lot,' she said. 'Once you become a parent, I think that's how fragile life can be; it comes into my fears all the time. But I really feel like we spend time in cemeteries and everything from the history of it, and just also acknowledging, this is part of life.'
She continued: 'This is part of life. And there's a tremendous amount of peace there as well. And not being afraid, if not of death, but of people who have died, you know? And because I don't want anyone to be afraid of me when I die. So I try to have that kind of connection with them.'
OK, I guess it sounds a little weird... but it's also not the craziest thing I've ever heard? What do you make of this? LMK in the comments.

Kate Hudson Says She and Son Ryder ‘Leaned on' Brother Oliver ‘Without Me Even Having to Ask' amid Chris Robinson Divorce
Kate Hudson can always count on her brother Oliver Hudson. The two answered fan-submitted questions on the Monday, July 21, edition of the Sibling Revelry with Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson podcast, when one listener asked them to describe a moment in their life during which they really "leaned on each other." While Kate, 46, said she feels it happens "often," the "biggest time was in divorce." The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! "For me, with you in my divorce with having Ryder and being a working mom, I felt like you really stepped up without me asking," Kate told Oliver. She and her ex-husband, Chris Robinson, were married from 2000 to 2007 and share a son, Ryder Russell Robinson, 21. "It's just that you just stepped up as Uncle Ollie and was really there for us and Ryder. I think that period of time, you really stepped up for me without me even having to ask for it," Kate continued. "In reflection, you were so stable for Ryder and myself." The Running Point star noted that two "created fun times with the kids." In addition to Ryder, Kate is also a mom to Bingham "Bing" Hawn, 14, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy. She shares Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, 6, with her now-fiancé Danny Fujikawa. For Oliver, 48, there are "micro leanings" that happen between him and his sister all the time. 'There's little things that happen. It's not these big catastrophic events where it's like, 'Here, put your head on my shoulder.' It's the little things," he said. In a June 2024 conversation with PEOPLE, Kate opened up about her blended family, expressing that they are "very connected" and are "very close." 'Love can change form. It's interesting when you have that modern family; there's so much love for all the kids," she said. 'I think the thing that's so unique about my life is that in this very patchwork family, we all have figured it out … The kids feel like they have this huge family,' continued Hudson, adding that her exes' daughters and Rani 'are like sisters … There is something that has been able to be nurtured in our family that is personally what I think is, it's very rare." Fans Praise 'Refreshing' Hilaria Baldwin for Boldly Standing Up for Herself
Fans Praise 'Refreshing' Hilaria Baldwin for Boldly Standing Up for Herself originally appeared on Parade. Hilaria Baldwin doesn't give an 'F'! The entrepreneur and longtime wife of actor Alec Baldwin clapped back at a hater criticising her for seeking "attention" on Sunday, July 20, 2025, and fans are loving her "refreshing" and "positive" attitude about the whole thing! "Wouldn't it be weird if we put it out there but were like, 'nobody look!'?" the mom of seven said in her carefree new video, sitting in her backyard makeup-free. "We're all attention-seeking on here! And it's fun!" she whispered. The Manual Not Included author went on to say she's had enough of "women tearing each other down," and instead sought to inspire her followers while being transparent about who she is and what she enjoys. "I am now in my forties," she continued. "Forty starts with an F, which is all about being free and fabulous and fun and all the best Fs that are out there. So go out there, and don't give an F!" Fans immediately ran to the comments to applaud her authenticity and self-confidence. "Love you and your family, Hilaria. You don't have to explain yourself to anyone," said one follower, with another adding, "From this 70 y/o woman who totally agrees w/ all F's... I love you, Hilaria. You are so refreshing." A fan said, "Continue shining your positive light!" while another wrote, "You're a beautiful person, inside and out, and a fantastic wife and Mother. F the haters!!! Be you and enjoy!" Another simply added, "Preach!!!" The original hate comment came as a response to a video Baldwin posted a day earlier, which showed her attempting the "#NickiMinajChallenge" while balancing on top of her kids' swingset on one foot while wearing extremely high silver heels. She also shared a fun behind-the-scenes video, looking slightly less graceful. "I've always had to do things my own way," she joked with an eye-roll and laughing emoji. "So here is me falling and failing and experimenting and playing …and having FUN!"
