Bears QB Caleb Williams' phone wallpaper is the Lombardi Trophy
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has made it clear he had lofty goals for his NFL career. And despite a rocky rookie season, Williams hasn't been deterred. And he keeps a reminder of his top goal right there on his phone.
In a photo shared by Cole Bennett on Instagram, Williams is tagged on a photo of a phone wallpaper that features the Lombardi Trophy, which no doubt is to remind Williams about his ultimate goal: Winning Super Bowls.
Back in April 2024, Williams shared a look at his phone screen wallpaper that included motivational quotes and goals. That included being the first pick in the NFL draft (which the Bears made him) and the second was winning not one, but eight Super Bowls (as he wants to surpass the great Tom Brady).
Williams' rookie season didn't go as planned in what was a chaotic environment that featured an in-season head coach firing, three different head coaches, being sacked a league-high 68 times, a 10-game losing streak and a 5-12 record. Still, Williams impressed with his impressive arm to the tune of 3,541 yards, 20 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
This offseason, the Bears have prioritized building around Williams. That started with the hiring of head coach Ben Johnson to develop Williams into the star Chicago believes he can be. The Bears also overhauled the entire interior offensive line and added even more weapons that has Williams poised for a breakout season.
While Chicago is far from being a Super Bowl contender, as there are still questions to be answered on both sides of the ball, there's no denying the pieces are in place that, if Williams becomes a star, the Bears could ultimately contend for a championship and achieve Williams' top goal.

Could Ashton Jeanty be a Trent Richardson-like fantasy bust?
Yahoo Sports fantasy analysts Matt Harmon and Justin Boone discuss the expectations for Ashton Jeanty on the Las Vegas Raiders and compare his 2025 season outlook to Trent Richardson's rookie year. Hear the full conversation on the 'Yahoo Fantasy Forecast' podcast - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript Starting this off from a talent perspective with Genty is important because I don't really have too many questions about him as a player, uh, you know, he's big back with balance, but he's coming off an immense amount of workload, like you don't do all that from a statistical perspective without touching the football a ton, and we just talked about this last week about Saquan Barkley and all of those touches that he assumed. And we've seen other highly drafted running backs come in that have these monster workloads in college and have these like video game numbers and did not work out in the NFL. Like, it's not like it would be the first time that that happens. So if we're gonna lawyer it, that's the first spot that I would start. The next one would be, this isn't necessarily the best scenario to land in going to the Raiders, even if it all works out, it might take a little while for them to gel and for it all to come together, and that's why it just seems so crazy when you really boil it down to how do you take a running back that early when your franchise is at this point? Like, they are not a running back away. This is not the Philadelphia Eagles going out and getting Saquan Barkley and adding that last piece. This is a team that just invested big time draft capital in a running back in hopes that he can be that thing that powers their entire offense, and it better work out because if it doesn't, fantasy wise and real life, it is going to be trouble for everybody involved. I'm gonna make an absolutely disgusting comparison that, well, it sounds gross, yeah, that's exactly what I'm about to say like I, it's a, it's a disgusting comparison, but it actually should give you some. Hope if even all of these negative things come to pass, like it actually can still work out for Ashton Genty as a, you know, first round pick in fantasy football, like a top 10 running back. Let's just be clear, Trent Richardson turned out to not be the player that everybody hoped he is. So let's live in this pretend world where Ashton Genty is not the player that everybody hopes he is. He averaged 3.6 yards per carry. He played on an offense in the Cleveland Browns that ranked 24th in points per game in 2012, and he was the running back eight in fantasy points that year. I do think that Genty can do a lot of that, could end up having a pretty similar season and He averaged 3.6 yards per carry. I do think that Genty can do a lot of that, could end up having a pretty similar season and That would certainly bring up questions in the Raiders organization, but for our selfish fantasy purposes, that actually wouldn't be a win if you took him as the 4th running back, he finishes as the 8th, but it's like a, it's a small loss, if anything. Yeah, volume is king, and barring injury, he is going to get the volume. The volume will be there. I think he's gonna be OK, but there's definitely, I think we've done a good job here of pointing out some reasons why people might want to think twice or just maybe bump him down a spot or two in the rankings. Steelers, All-Pro T.J. Watt agree to 3-year, $123M contract extension, making him the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history
T.J. Watt has agreed to a three-year, $123 million extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Thursday. The contract was agreed upon just days before Steelers players report to training camp on July 23. Watt skipped both voluntary and mandatory minicamps this spring as the two sides worked on the new deal. Watt himself appears to have confirmed the deal, sharing the following on Instagram as the news broke: Watt, 30, has played his entire eight-season NFL career with the Steelers, who selected him in the first round with the No. 30 pick in the 2017 draft. Watt has paid off handsomely on Pittsburgh's investment. Watt recorded seven sacks as a rookie and has ade the Pro Bowl in each of his seven seasons since. He's a five-time All-Pro with four selections to the first team. He was the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 and has finished in the top four of voting for the award five times. Watt has led the league in sacks three times, including his career high tally of 22.5 in 2021, which is tied with Michael Strahan for the most sacks in a single season in NFL history. His career sack tally stands at 108 for an average of 13.5 per season. Watt also has 225 career quarterback hits, seven interceptions, 49 passes defended, 12 fumble recoveries and 33 forced fumbles. He's led the league in forced fumbles twice. Can Watt continue to deliver at an All-Pro level? Entering his age-31 season, Watt remains one of the most disruptive forces in football. In 2024, he posted 11.5 sacks, 27 quarterback hits and led the NFL with six forced fumbles. Watt is also one of the most durable defenders in football. He suffered a pectoral tear in Week 1 of the 2022 season on the heels of his Defensive Player of the Year campaign. He still managed to play 10 games that season and earn Pro Bowl honors. In each of Watt's other seven seasons, he's played in 15 games or more. Watt signs his extension while entering the fifth year of his previous five-year, $112 million extension to his rookie deal.
