The ex-lads' mag favourite, now 49, first came to the public's attention when the then-nurse was pictured alongside Leslie as he attended court in 2003, when a sexual assault case against him collapsed.
At a time when lads' mags were flying off the shelves, she famously ranked seventh by FHM in their 2005 list of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World.

After causing headlines while leaving court with John, Abi went on to feature on the front page of various lads' magazines - including Nuts, Loaded and FHM.

''I could make £30,000 for a shoot but I knew how third-rate I was. I could feel my lack of discernible talent as though I was wearing it.''
She later told the publication: ''Suddenly I was being offered a lot of money to do shoots. I thought I could handle it. But I couldn't.

''They created this caricature of a person that I didn't recognise. I was always the same Abigail inside.
''I studied Latin at school, I'm from a good family. But the image that was created was nonsense.''
Abi left her pin-up career behind in the mid-noughties to study the craft of acting at the renowned Central School of Speech and Drama, subsequently bagging a role on BBC's Casualty in 2012.
Her next big leap took her stateside, landing the role of Nurse Jackie in hit soap Days of Our Lives, where she found love with Ari Welkom.

In a January 2015 revelation on Loose Women, Abi declared she had rebranded herself as Abigail Evelyn, stepping away from her former glamour modelling past.
Two years later, in May 2017, she tied the know with Ari while she was 21 weeks pregnant with their first child.
"I met Ari when I was 38 and got pregnant naturally at 40," Abi told to the Loose Women panel.

Their relationship couldn't weather the storm, with the rugby legend relocating to Los Angeles for his modelling gig soon after.
"When I brought up the subject of marriage and children, the colour drained from his face," Kelly revealed in her autobiography.
She claimed: "He wanted to focus on his 'new life' in LA - a wife and children would slow him down. He didn't want to be in a relationship anymore. It was obvious."

My tense meeting with Geri Halliwell explains the REAL reason why she snubbed Mel B's wedding – and cut ties for good
IT was supposed to be the happiest day of Mel B's life – instead, there was a bitter taste in her mouth, impossible to ignore: the absence of Geri Halliwell at her wedding. Many were shocked that Geri would snub her friend of over 30 years, but after spending a day with her, I wasn't surprised at all. This is trademark Halliwell behaviour. 7 Mel B tied the knot with Rory McPhee over the weekend Credit: PA 7 A second ceremony will be another chance for Mel's Spice Girls pals to attend Credit: Instagram 7 Geri didn't attend the wedding and didn't congratulate the happy couple either on social media Credit: Getty Never mind Madonna, Geri is the Queen of Reinvention. She changes her image, compartmentalises, and moves on from everything that no longer fits. Now she appears to have cast Mel B aside, like her legendary Brit Awards Union Jack dress that has no place in her new, Not attending the ceremony would have been understandable, these are busy people, with packed schedules, but unlike the other Spice Girls who didn't attend, It's clear that this rift has been massively underestimated, and runs deeper than anyone ever imagined. As a massive Ginger Spice fan, I was so excited to meet I assumed we'd get on like a house on fire, and couldn't wait to be in the presence of her famously loud, feisty, energetic personality. The Geri I spent time with bore absolutely no resemblance to the woman who'd starred as Trixie Firecracker in the Say You'll Be There video. This was New Improved Spiritual Yoga Geri, quiet, tiny and guarded. Her loyal Shih Tzu dog Harry was by her side as always, back then he was almost as well known as she was, but as I made a fuss of him she watched at a distance, with a weak smile that didn't reach her eyes. She was promoting second autobiography Just For The Record but answered questions about it monosyllabically. Mel B stuns in white gown at star-studded St Paul's Cathedral wedding She was dating Damian Warner, who she'd met at the Cottonwood rehabilitation clinic in Arizona while being treated for bulimia, but didn't want to talk about him. The one thing I never imagined when considering the prospect of hanging out with famously mouthy, opinionated Geri Halliwell was struggling to make conversation. Now I see that this was Geri very clearly moving on from her previous persona, just like she is doing now, by severing ties with Not for her half measures, swerving the event but wishing her former bandmate well on Instagram, as Mel C and It's hard to imagine her going to Even though ghosting it would surely be the final nail in the coffin of her relationship with Mel B. The other three Spice Girls being so open about their joy for Mel only makes Geri's silence more deafening by comparison. The added layer is that after the relationship turmoil and heartache Mel endured with previous partners, like abusive 7 Emma Bunton was the only Spice Girl to attend Mel B's big day Credit: Splash 7 Ginger and Scary were always the gobbiest of the girls back in the day, but this latest slap in the face proves their beef runs deeper than anyone ever imagined Credit: Getty But it's undeniable that the bride's filter-free approach to life doesn't gel with the all new Geri Halliwell – Mrs Christian Horner, quintessential countryside Lady Of The Manor and author. Mel and Geri's volatile relationship never truly recovered from Mel Ginger reportedly snapped (sorry), with her spokesperson stating that Mel's claim was 'simply not true' and 'very hurtful' to Geri's family. Her husband Christian Horner was said to be 'mortified' by the claims, for which Mel has apparently never apologised. And despite all five Spice Girls reuniting for what looked like a fun-filled sing-song at Posh's 50th last April, a source told The Sun that behind the scenes, things between Mel and Geri were decidedly frosty. MAKE THINGS RIGHT Four months later, Mel is unlikely to have endeared herself to her old sparring partner any further when she posted 'Happy 75th bday Ginge'… on her 52nd birthday. Tellingly, there was no sign of Geri at Mel's 50th last month, either. Now it seems that the writing is well and truly on the wall for Mel and Geri's friendship, and for the artist formerly known as Ginger Spice to boot. The saddest part of this for fans – apart from learning it's not true that friendship never ends – is that a Spice reunion seems more unlikely than ever. Geri's insistence to move forward with her new life path, never even glancing back, could end up costing all five girls millions. But even worse, it seems to indicate that Ginger Spice has left the building. This time, for good. 7 The newly married couple's second ceremony will be 'more informal, sexy and beautiful' Credit: Getty 7 This showbiz rift has been massively underestimated Credit: Getty

Irish singer says she's been cancelled for supporting Supreme Court trans ruling
'It was met with an intense internet pile-on and online harassment' Singer Molly O'Mahony has spoken of the 'chilling effects of being quietly cancelled' after she publicly supported the UK Supreme Court's trans ruling. The Cork native posted about how she had endured the 'quietest summer of music work in over a decade' as she was dropped from gigs and offers of work 'have all but dried up'. She said this had followed an Instagram post on April 22 in support of the UK Supreme Court ruling on the definition of 'woman'. 'It was met with an intense internet pile-on and online harassment,' O'Mahony explained. 'I lost hundreds of followers within days, and individuals publicly called for my work to be boycotted. 'Since then I have experienced the chilling effects of being quietly cancelled from the Irish music scene that I've been a part of for 13 years. I've been dropped from bills I was due to play, and offers of gigs have all but dried up. We need your consent to load this Social Media content. Please review your details and accept them to load the content 'It is my quietest summer of music work in over a decade, in fact; quieter than the covid years, even.' The Ballydehob musician said this had come as she is trying to finish and release her second record, 'a costly endeavour, as any independent musician knows' in the wake of her debut album, The House of David. 'It is a challenge, at the best of times, to find the resources to keep making music, let alone make a living as an artist in this country,' she wrote. 'Suffice to say, it all feels a whole lot harder now. 'The feeling that there is nowhere to turn is particularly pernicious,' she added. 'I have very little confidence that any of the institutions and gatekeepers of the industry will have my back. 'All are beholden to a culture which dictates that those who don't toe the line must be ousted.' O'Mahony insisted that she was just one of many women and men in the public eye, 'who have been punished for trying to speak in defence of women's rights against the prevailing tide of gender ideology'. 'The myriad messages of private support I have received since April tells me two things - that my views are widely sympathised with in Ireland, and that people are terrified to proclaim it,' she revealed. 'Is it not the remit of artists to speak what's true for them? How can creativity flourish if we are all expected to be a monolith of sameness where our beliefs are concerned?" Molly O'Mahony Today's News in 90 Seconds - July 8th She added that she wanted to 'an end to the vice grip that tyrannical woke liberalism has on the arts and on free speech'. 'And an end to cancel culture. If there are artists out there who resonate, I dare you to sound the alarm with me. The culture is not going to change until there is enough of us calling for it.' In her April post, O'Mahony had written how, 'this is an anomaly post about sex and gender issues'. 'If this is not your bag, you can just admire this especially beautiful piece of kelp and move on with your life,' she added, alongside a picture of her holding some seaweed. 'For the record, I f***ing love women,' she added. She wrote about how, in light of the landmark Supreme Court Ruling in the UK 'declaring unequivocally woman means biological woman', she wanted to add a 'counter narrative to the online echo chamber I exist in'. She wrote in part how trans-identified males are human beings – 'worthy of dignity, protection and the freedom to express themselves however the hell they want'. 'They are not however women,' she added. She also highlighted how it is the 'likes of prisons and rape crisis centres that most high-stakes where male violence against women are concerned, places that house women who are especially vulnerable'. O'Mahony had performed as part of the art-folk group Mongoose for which released their debut album in 2015. Their second outing Suck the Wound landed in 2019 with O'Mahony releasing her first solo project three years later.
