Revealed: Harry from Love Island's ex Emma is joining Casa Amor. Get the lowdown on her background and age

Cosmopolitan3 days ago
Love Island fans, it's nearly that time: Casa Amor is just around the corner. At the end of last night's episode, a teaser trailer confirmed that the iconic segment of the show would be returning on Sunday, 6th July.
For those who need a recap, it typically takes place around halfway through the season and is the ultimate loyalty test. Couples are separated (either the girls or the boys are sent to Casa Amor) while their partner stays in the main villa.
Last night, Meg was the Islander to read out the names of the new arrivals, which included Yaz, Lauren, Andrada, Lucy, Rheo and Emma. Following the announcement, Harry looked visibly shocked, sharing with the group that Emma is his ex.
Of course, Harry's current partner, Helena, looked completely bewildered, which suggests that there may be some new drama just around the corner.
So, ahead of Casa Amor's return, let's get the lowdown on Emma...
According to the internet, Emma Munro is 30 years old and from Norwich. While her 'gram is pretty sparse, with just eight posts to peruse, we can immediately tell that she's an intrepid traveller. From waterfall posts in the Philippines, accompanied by the most stunning white swimsuit, to cocktails in Dubai, she's also been spotted posing in front of a luxury infinity pool in Bodrum, Turkey.
Alongside this, Emma also looks to be a music fan, rocking up to the Jonas Brothers concerts, and more recently, Tate McRae.
While info is currently limited, we're sure we'll learn a lot more about the Casa Amor Islander once she enters the villa tomorrow night.
New episodes of Love Island air on weekdays and Sundays at 9pm on ITV2.

Cierra Ortega exits ‘Love Island USA' villa following backlash over resurfaced racial slur posts

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Cierra Ortega, a contestant of this summer's 'Love Island USA' left the villa just a week before the finale of the hit reality series is set to air on Peacock. Her departure, announced Sunday, followed weeks of uproar from viewers after old posts from Ortega resurfaced that contained a racial slur against Asian people. The show's narrator, Iain Stirling, announced Ortega had departed 'due to a personal situation' early in Sunday's episode. Ortega becomes the second contestant this season to depart the show amid controversy due to past social media posts. Yulissa Escobar abruptly exited last month in the second episode after clips of her using racist language resurfaced online. Her departure was also not explained in the show. A spokesperson for the show declined to comment Monday. Ortega's family posted to her Instagram story Sunday evening following the announcement of her departure, asking the public 'for compassion. For patience. For basic human decency. 'While Cierra is not in the villa anymore, she is still away. She hasn't had the chance to process any of this or speak for herself,' her family wrote. 'But we know our daughter. We know her heart. And when she returns, we believe she'll face this with honesty, growth, and grace.' Her family said they, along with Ortega's friends and online supporters, have received threats, attacks and cruel messages on social media, noting that 'no one deserve that kind of hate, no matter what mistakes they've made.' 'Love Island USA' is an American spin-off of the original U.K. series and is airing its seventh season . The show airs daily except Wednesdays and brings young singles together in a remote villa in Fiji to explore connections with the ultimate goal of finding love. Couples undergo challenges and are encouraged test their romantic connections as new contestants are introduced. Islanders are routinely 'dumped' from the villa throughout the series as stronger couples form. The winning couple receives $100,000. The show, which strips contestants of their phones or access to the outside world, has previously asked fans to avoid cyberbullying contestants. Host Ariana Madix called for fans to stop doxxing and harassing the show's stars in a recent interview with The Associated Press. Ortega entered the villa at the end of the first episode as a bombshell, one of the first in a steady stream of new contestants who come in after the show began, often expected to disrupt existing couples and create new relationship dynamics. Ortega quickly coupled up with Nic Vansteenberghe, whom she remained with up until her departure. Her exit broke up one of the few consistent couples of the season. The couple had just announced a few episodes prior they were 'closed off,' a popular 'Love Island' phrase to indicate neither contestant was interested in exploring a connection with any other islander. 'Before Cierra had left, my mind was clear. I knew what the future would look like, and now, I'm lost,' Vansteenberghe said during Sunday's episode. Vansteenberghe stayed on the show as a single islander after Ortega left, and he ultimately re-coupled with fellow contestant Olandria Carthen before the end of the episode. Belle-A Walker, a contestant who was dumped earlier this season, took to Instagram to express heartbreak over Ortega's resurfaced posts. Walker, who is Asian American, said she is 'deeply appreciative' of the show's producers 'for taking a stand and making it clear that racism of any kind is not tolerated.' 'Asian hate is oftentimes overlooked and dismissed. But being a first-generation American, I have personally witnessed and experienced how real and hurtful comments like these are,' Walker wrote on her Instagram story page. 'It is my hope that this situation can help shed light on how big of an issue anti-Asian hate really is.' Error! Sorry, there was an error processing your request. 4 signs Love Island's Harry will get back with his ex Emma, as fans pick up on their 'super long' kiss

Love Island continued tonight, with the Love Island 2025 cast getting acquainted with the Casa Amor boys and girls. During the episode, Harry had a chat with his ex Emma and they talked about the reason for their split - he cheated and brought other women into their home. Later in the day, the Islanders went head-to-head in a game of Raunchy Races where they had to race to complete naughty dares in the quickest time. The main villa came out on top, as they were the quickest to complete the dares, including one which saw the eldest boy and girl having to kiss. Over in Casa Amor, Harry and his ex Emma took quite some time to complete this challenge as they enjoyed their kiss for quite some time, leading fans to think that there could be some unresolved feelings there. And we can see it too! From the subtle compliments to that very kiss, here's all the signs Harry will get back with his ex - or will at least try to. During the game of Raunchy Races, both villas were dared to make the oldest boy and girl kiss. As the eldest in Casa Amor, Harry and Emma went in for a kiss, but it lasted a lot longer than the kiss in the main villa between Helena and Chris and caused them to lose that round. This didn't go unnoticed from the other Islanders and viewers at home, with one commenting on X (formerly Twitter): "Harry and Emma that kiss was a little long #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK" "That Harry and Emma kissed meant so much didn't think it was going to end #loveisland" another said. Up until this point, it seemed like Emma was completely done with Harry, but this kiss makes us think that there could be some unfinished business. Earlier in the episode, Harry admitted to the boys that he thinks Emma is the best looking by far out of all the Casa Amor girls. The day before, he gushed to Helena about being in love with his ex and showed off the E initial tattoo on his wrist, before knowing that she was about to enter the villa. Judging by these comments, it doesn't look like Harry is fully over his ex and might want to revisit things. On the first night, Harry slept out on the day beds, but fans questioned if this was to impress Helena back in the main villa or because of his ex in Casa Amor. "I still Think Harry didn't sleep outside for Helena it was because he didn't want to see Emma kissing others #LoveIsland" one viewer wrote. While Emma seems pretty annoyed at Harry, she did decide to go on Love Island, which he's currently on. So, maybe she was hoping they could resolve things or even get some closure... Love Island fans are backing Shakira and Boris to win the 12th season. On tonight's show (Monday 7th July), the Casa Amor boys entered the main vill aand Boris went straight for Shakira, telling all the girls that he didn't think that she'd been treated right from the start and that he was coming into the villa to "change that". Following the cute exchange, fans flocked to X (formerly Twitter). "Guys we have our winners Boris and Shakira please I need HARRY TO MELT #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK" one wrote. "Already hoping Boris and Shakira work out, especially since Boris confidently said he's there for Shakira only #LoveIsland" another said. "Just give Shakira and Boris the 50k #loveisland" another said in all caps. Agreeing, a fourth person commented: "Shakira and Boris for the winnn #loveisland" Boris made the declaration just minutes after entering the villa, as Casa Amor got underway for 2025. It comes after he revealed that he has his eye on Shakira ahead of stepping into the villa. "I'm super attracted to Shakira, I think she's got a great personality and seems like a good girl. I'm sure we'd get along well and have a good time together, but I need to see in person, it's all about energy," he told ITV. He added: "I don't have an exact type, if her energy matches my energy, that's what I like. Besides that; a beautiful smile, a nice figure, and a great personality. I want someone around me that I can laugh with 24/7. If she can roast me, I love her already!" We like a man who goes after what he wants. We're here for this couple, if Shakira is down, although she does look to be getting a bit friendly with Ty... New episodes of Love Island air on weekdays and Sundays.
