'Ballard'
'Ballard' is set in the 'Bosch' universe and follows Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q). After being introduced in the 'Bosch: Legacy' finale, Ballard now leads an underfunded, all-volunteer LAPD cold case unit.
Determined and fiercely empathetic, she juggles complex investigations like the high-profile 'Flower Girl' serial killer case while navigating bureaucratic roadblocks and inner-department corruption. Backed by familiar faces including Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), Ballard is tasked with reopening unsolved crimes, but the emotional toll and political weight of the job threaten to overwhelm her.

'The Summer I Turned Pretty' season 3
Premiering July 16 with a two-episode kick-off and rolling out weekly through September 17, the third and final season of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' adapts Jenny Han's concluding novel.
Set two years after Belly's (Lola Tung) decision to be with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), the story follows her summer after junior year of college. Belly and Jeremiah announce their engagement, only for Conrad (Christopher Briney) to reappear, reopening old wounds and thrusting Belly into a powerful emotional crossroads.
With an expanded 11-episode run (the longest yet) the series dives deeper into the central love triangle, Belly's growth into adulthood, and the dynamics between her friends and family. So expect moments of heartbreak, healing, and surprising adventures (including potential new settings like Paris).

John Cena passes torch to Cody Rhodes as 'American Nightmare' regains WWE title at SummerSlam
The passing of the torch only happens a few times in pro wrestling and Cody Rhodes and John Cena added another chapter to WWE lore at SummerSlam on Sunday night. Rhodes defeated Cena to regain the Undisputed WWE Championship in an epic street fight that finished off an incredible weekend at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It marked the second title reign for Rhodes after he won the championship at WrestleMania 40. Cena came out to his classic "My Time is Now" song in an apparent full circle return to his babyface ways. The crowd at MetLife Stadium erupted, even Rhodes smirked. But the pleasantries soon went away. It was a street fight for the Undisputed WWE Championship on a night that already featured a ton of violence. But there were many questions for both competitors going into the match. Could Rhodes muster up some killer instinct to put Cena away? Was Cena really going to dig deep into his soul to find himself and become Superman one last time? Rhodes took Tyrese Haliburton's crutch to the back. He slammed Cena onto the steel steps but then also ate these same steps. It was early in the match but the two proved they were going to go to great lengths to capture the biggest prize in the WWE. Cena struck first with the Attitude Adjustment out of nowhere. He tried to pin Rhodes but to no avail. It was too early to put the "American Nightmare" down. Rhodes had tried already to pin Cena off his lesser moves but Cena was ready and not beaten enough. Almost frustrated and too inside of his head, Rhodes hit a disaster kick and a Cody cutter. Still, the pin attempts weren't going to work on the 17-time world champion. Rhodes then pulled off a move that was technically banned – the piledriver. Cena wouldn't go down and he played opossum a bit to stun Rhodes with an Attitude Adjustment soon after. Both wrestlers were deep into their bag. The fight moved to the outside of the ring and Cena was on the hunt. He hit Rhodes with a microphone and then a Code Red. He cleared the Spanish announce table and propped Rhodes on his shoulders while standing on Michael Cole and Wade Barrett's table. He then hit Rhodes with the Attitude Adjustment through the Spanish announce table. Cena rolled Rhodes back into the ring and tried to pin him. Still, Rhodes wouldn't go down. One more gasp of air and Rhodes was able to counter Cena and hit a Cross Rhodes soon after Cena's pin attempt. Rhodes then covered Cena but couldn't get the three count. Frustrations boiled over for both men. They took the fight into the crowd – far away from the ring which they needed to complete the win. Cena and Rhodes fought around the stadium and back toward the ramp. Cena had Rhodes on his shoulders as the two went on the elevator that Rhodes used for his entrance. Cena then hit another Attitude Adjustment. Still, he had to get Rhodes back into the ring. Cena carried him back to the ring but Rhodes used the time to get one more burst of adrenaline. As they got back into the ring, Rhodes tossed Cena through the table. Rhodes loosened the rope and pulled it all off its hinges. The bottom rope was down and Rhodes used the entire turnbuckle to his advantage. But Cena, ever the veteran, tripped Rhodes up and choked Rhodes with the rope. The challenger turned the tables on Cena once more. Bruised and battered the fight wore on. Rhodes had Cena in a predicament. He hit not one but three Cross Rhodes on Cena. He thought he had Cena finished. He went for the pin but only got to two. Rhodes then had his stunning kickout. Cena reversed Rhodes' attempt to hit him with the title belt. Cena nailed two Attitude Adjustments and then a third from the middle rope. Still, Cena met his match. Rhodes kicked out at two. In the final moments, Rhodes put Cena through a table. After Cena lay hanging on the ropes, he saluted Cena and hit the Cross Rhodes. One, two, three – Rhodes picked up the win. Cena stood in the center of the ring, signaling his time was almost up. WWE fans thanked Cena for putting on another epic display of professional wrestling.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Results As Brock Lesnar Returns And Destroys John Cena
Brock Lesnar returned to WWE after Cody Rhodes defeated John Cena in the main event of WWE SummerSlam 2025. This was a classic Street Fight as both Cena and Rhodes took turns kicking out of each others' finishers and avalanche finishers. Cody Rhodes shook hands with Cena after the match as the two shared an emotional passing-of-the-torch moment. Rhodes brought Cena to the center of the ring once again to raise his hand for a final time before exiting the ring. Rhodes gave the ring to Cena, who basked in the cheers of MetLife Stadium with four months left in his retirement tour. Fans chanted 'thank you Cena' as both Cody Rhodes and Cena left SummerSlam as babyfaces. The only difference is, Cody Rhodes left on his own two feet. As Cena basked in the glory of MetLife Stadium, Brock Lesnar's music hit to a huge reaction. Fans chanted 'holy s—t' as The Beast stalked John Cena and laid him out with an F-5. John Cena's heel turn at Elimination Chamber was one of the best heel turns in history. By kicking whitemeat babyface Cody Rhodes in the groin, Cena effectively sold his soul to The Rock and turned heel for the first time in 20 years. The execution of Cena's heel turn was masterful, but the booking was subject to scrutiny. Cena did not change anything about himself and blamed the fans for his newly nefarious ways. But with Cena on his retirement tour, he received the same mixed reactions he did when he was a divisive babyface in 2010. This time around, however, there were more cheers than boos despite Cena's best efforts. Cena was cheered opposite babyfaces such as Randy Orton, CM Punk and R-Truth. After Cody Rhodes challenged John Cena to become the old Cena, "the Greatest of all Time' abruptly turned babyface on the August 1, 2025 broadcast of SmackDown. 'After my last match, I want to leave here with [the WWE Championship] with me,' said Cena in an about-face. 'But it's not because I want to ruin wrestling. Geez, you guys know, I don't want to ruin wrestling. I love wrestling. I want to take this home with me so after I'm gone you guys don't forget about me.' Cena's face turn while in the midst of a heel run is reminiscent of Stone Cold Steve Austin turning babyface after Vince McMahon begged for 'the Old Stole Cold' in June of 2001. After the Old Stone Cold cleaned house to help Team WWE against The Alliance ahead of WWE Invasion, Austin turned heel all over again and screwed Team WWE. Ironically, Austin received the same criticisms for turning heel that John Cena is getting. But after turning babyface for SummerSlam, WWE's main event answered an open-ended question: Will Cena remain a good guy, double down as a villain or will there be a double-turn? Cody Rhodes lost the WWE Championship after failing to pull the trigger and hit Cena with the WWE Championship belt. In the end, Cody Rhodes attacked John Cena without hesitation time and again. Some moment made it seem as if he was going to fully turn heel. But after an Avalanche Cody Cutter, Cody Rhodes defeated John Cena. No heel turn needed. John Cena Vs. Cody Rhodes SummerSlam 2025 Highlights Now that SummerSlam has come and gone, it's clear that WWE has officially retconned John Cena's babyface turn. There is no Cody Rhodes heel turn in sight. Instead, WWE shook things up with the return of Brock Lesnar. Despite Twitter claiming Brock Lesnasr is canceled stemming from his involvement in Vince McMahon's sexual misconduct lawsuit, real-life gave Lesnar the biggest pop of SummerSlam. Lesnar seems primed for a feud against John Cena as Cena embarks on a babyface swan song against one of his greatest opponents. If this really is a Cena farewell tour, then the list of vintage opponents (Randy Orton, R-Truth and CM Punk) doesn't get any better than Brock Lesnar.

John Cena uses Tyrese Haliburton's crutch to beat Cody Rhodes at WWE Summer Slam
Tyrese Haliburton had a front row seat for Sunday night's WWE Summer Slam at Met Life Stadium, and he even had a role in the night's main event between John Cena and Cody Rhodes. The Indiana Pacers star, who will miss the 2025-26 season rehabbing an Achilles tendon tear, is a big WWE fan and has been involved in multiple events over the past few years. He was booed heavily earlier Sunday night by New York/New Jersey's fans when showed on the jumbotron. Haliburton enjoyed the heel moment, asking for more noise. Knicks fans still are salty over the Pacers ending the past two Knicks' seasons. In the opening moments of Sunday night's street fight for the Undisputed WWE championship, Cena walked over to Haliburton and grabbed one of the Pacers guard's crutches to beat Rhodes with. Haliburton has been using a scooter to get around since his Achilles surgery, so the crutches were an obviously planted prop. It's been an eventful summer for Haliburton, who used a ring of a different kind to propose to long-time girlfriend Jade Jones.
