A former Lieutenant in the Indian Army, Khushboo, shared a post on Instagram in remembrance of the bravehearts who were martyred in the Kargil War. She said that when one hears these sirens, they should take immediate action and look for a location that can serve as a bunker. People must shelter in basements or on the ground floor if they are at home during such air raids. Meanwhile, those who are outdoors must leave the buildings and seek out open areas or the ground. She also recommended that, in order to minimise the effects of the air waves during this time, people should lie on the ground.
