Anne Hathaway enjoys a VERY rare family day out in NYC with her husband and two sons
Anne Hathaway showcased her summer style when she was seen on a rare family outing with her husband and sons on Wednesday. The actress, 42, who was spotted on a stylish solo outing recently, displayed her toned arms as she walked through New York City in a strappy cream, pink, blue and yellow floral sundress. The Oscar winner wore a wide brimmed straw hat over her long, dark locks, protecting her flawless complexion from the harsh summer sun. She appeared to be wearing natural looking makeup behind her dark sunglasses. The Idea of You star wore brown strappy sandals, and carried a cream tone purse. Hathaway held the hand of her son Jonathan, nine, who looked adorable in a blue and red basketball jersey with a pair of light blue shorts featuring black lightening bolts, and blue sneakers. Her younger son, Jack, five, showed his own team spirit wearing a long black and yellow San Francisco jersey with black sneakers. The Princess Diaries star shares her kids with her husband of nearly 13 years, Adam Schulman, 44. The James Banks Jewelry founder looked relaxed in a long sleeve white T-shirt, straight leg jeans and gray sneakers. His silver hair was closely cropped. Hathaway recently completed work on Verity, a thriller, as a writer unable to finish her books following an accident. The film is based on the Colleen Hoover best-seller by the same name. Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett also star in the project. Hathaway and her husband will be working together on the upcoming Yesteryear. The film based on the forthcoming novel by Caro Claire Burke, focuses on a trad-wife social media influencer who portrays her perfect life on a ranch with her husband and six kids, but doesn't disclose she does it with the help of modern amenities and staff. She and Schulman will produce the romantic comedy through their Somewhere Pictures company, per Deadline. The worked together more than a decade ago on the indie thriller Song One with Hathaway in front of the camera, and her husband as a producer. 'At first, I was curious how it would go. People always say don't work with your spouse. But I loved working with him,' Hathaway told People at the time. 'He's really good at this, and he's a wonderful producer. And I feel like I actually learned a lot from him in the process.'

More Hawley/Netflix © 2025 To say Holt McCallany's career exploded following his breakout role in Netflix's Mindhunter would be an understatement. Less than a decade after playing FBI profiler Bill Tench opposite Jonathan Groff's Holden Ford in the acclaimed serial killer drama, the longtime character actor found himself at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse just outside London, celebrating Tom Cruise's 60th birthday alongside such entertainment luminaries as Jerry Bruckheimer, Anne Hathaway, Sam Mendes, and James Corden. 'There was a lot of love in the room,' he remembers over Zoom. 'Yeah, I suppose it would be easy to say that when you're the biggest movie star in the world and your films have made billions of dollars at the global box office, it inspires goodwill. But it was more than that. People had flown in from all over the world to be there at that party, and it really was a wonderful event.' The event was so wonderful, in fact, that McCallany, who was in the United Kingdom for the production of Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (currently playing in theaters nationwide; click here for tickets), decided to go all-out for his own 60th celebration the following year at a classic Hollywood institution. 'I shared a car with Esai Morales [who plays The Final Reckoning's mysterious villain, Gabriel] on the way home and said to him, 'You know, man? I wasn't going to throw a party for my 60th, but now that I saw Tom's party, I know that I have to have a party.' Mine not was not quite as lavish. I did it at Musso and Frank, just because I happen to like that old school Hollywood vibe. I invited, just as Tom had done, people that had been with me since the beginning of my journey. And it was a really memorable evening, but had I not been invited to Tom's party, I probably wouldn't have had one of my own.' (Photo byfor Paramount Pictures) After decades of starring opposite A-listers like Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Jason Statham, Brad Pitt, Rami Malek, and Liam Neeson, and more McCallany says he's developed a nifty immunity to becoming starstruck. As such, sharing the same space as Cruise, Angela Bassett, and Nick Offerman for the latest Mission: Impossible (his second espionage-related project of 2025 after The Amateur) didn't seem as daunting as it might have been for an industry neophyte. 'When we get out there on the set, we're playing for the same team and you have your position to play,' he explains. 'If Tom Cruise is like the Tom Brady of movie stars, Tom Brady still needs somebody to throw the ball to. He still needs somebody to block for him. Filmmaking is a team sport … We're all actors and our job is to try to make this particular scene that we're shooting on this particular day as good as it can possibly be.' The Amateur and The Final Reckoning, however, were only the appetizers to McCallany's action-packed summer, which also includes the release of a brand-new Netflix series, The Waterfront (all eight episodes are now streaming). Created by slasher maven Kevin Williamson (Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer), the engaging family crime drama molded in the vein of Ozark centers around a North Carolina fishing dynasty forced to smuggle drugs in order to keep itself afloat — no pun intended. 'Somebody said to me the other day in an interview, 'How would you feel if people compared the show to things like Ozark and Succession?'' shares McCallany. 'And I said, 'I'd be very flattered, because those are iconic shows and we should be so fortunate as to be considered in that category.'' Despite Williamson's horror background, the writer actually comes from a family of seafaring folk, hence the overtly maritime setting and hook-handed villain of I Know What You Did Last Summer. 'He's been very open about the fact that his father was, at one time, involved in smuggling — I think it was marijuana — back in the '80s. Of course, now people buy marijuana at the corner store, but it wasn't like that in those days," says McCallany, who plays Harlan, the grizzled and booze-swigging patriarch of the Buckley clan: wife Belle (Maria Bello), son Cane (Jake Weary), and daughter Bree (Melissa Benoist). 'A lot of the the experiences that Harlan has are drawn from that. It's kind of semi-autobiographical in a way,' notes the actor. "So I felt an responsibility to really do the character justice. I always feel that. I never want a writer or a director to feel like, 'Oh, I got the wrong guy,' or, 'This guy didn't understand the character,' or 'This guy gave me a performance, but it wasn't the performance that I wanted.'" While he's taken a step back from day-to-day operations in recent years, Harlan (whose methods are ruthlessly old school) is forced to intervene when his son's recklessness not only draws suspicion from DEA Agent Marcus Sanchez (Gerardo Celasco) but the ire and interest of dangerous criminals like Topher Grace's Grady. 'I liked the way that Harlan was written and Kevin seemed to like the way that I was playing him,' adds McCallany. 'And so, we had this very easygoing kind of relationship, which I was grateful for because above all else, I wanted the experience of shooting The Waterfront to be fun. I really liked the other people in the cast. I love the little town of Wilmington, North Carolina [where we shot] … With a show like Mindhunter, we were always delving into the psychological underpinnings of sexually-motivated homicides and these gruesome murders … It was heavy stuff. It was dark. And this is a different kind of a show. It's lighter. It's a crime drama. It's a family drama, yes, but it has humor and it has sex appeal. I think it's got a little bit of something for everyone." Even with a plethora of acting opportunities on his plate, McCallany has impressively found the time to prep his directorial debut, an American remake of the 1995 Italian film The Star Maker by Giuseppe Tornatore (Cinema Paradiso). In addition to serving as director, the actor also co-wrote the screenplay with collaborator Noel Lawrence and input from David Fincher (whom McCallany has worked with three times since 1992). 'We spent two years in script revisions with David and the thing became exponentially better by an order of magnitude,' he teases. 'In the past, whether it was Alien 3, Fight Club, or Mindhunter, I was always working as an actor-for-hire, for David. So you come in, the script is written, the project is already cast, the locations are chosen, and you just have your responsibilities as an actor to execute. It's very different when you come with a piece of material and say, 'Hey, how about this?' I was just really fortunate that he happened to like the thing that I had chosen, so he gave me a lot of his time. That was really valuable to me.' EXCLUSIVE Experts reveal what 30-year-olds should look like now - and why it's changed
Age is just a number - but thanks to beauty treatments, sophisticated skincare routines, the subtle plastic surgery, that number is getting harder to figure out based on how someone looks. Back in the '90s, the face of a 30-something-year-old looked very distinct, but now, age-reducing procedures and modern makeup techniques has made age a lot more ambiguous. Gen Z TikTok users are regularly expressing their disbelief when they discover a celebrity has a '3' in front of their age - such as when fans were stunned to learn Bridgerton star, Nicola Coughlan, was 37-years-old. In March, fans were left stunned over Anne Hathaway's youthful appearance after the 42-year-old showed off her stunning glow at the Moncler Grenoble Fall/Winter 2025 Show, with the actress throwing people into a tailspin thanks to her flawless skin. And in May, Kris Jenner - who is almost 70 - debuted a new look that left fans gushing that she appeared decades younger. Social media has certainly changed the perception of what middle-age should look like. In the past, TV shows like Cheers or Seinfeld very painted a different image of what a person in this 30s looks like, with many of the characters appearing much older than what it is perceived today of people in their 30s. 'The perception of 30 has changed because cosmetic procedures have become normalized, especially on social media,' Dr. Ann Monis, a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist at Medical Anti-Aging told the Daily Mail about the phenomenon. '[Influencers and public figures are sharing] their injectables, skin treatments and surgical tweaks,' Dr. Monis explained. 'That constant visibility shifts what we think is typical for 30.' Dr. Monis added that the shift isn't just cultural, but psychological as well. 'This is happening because repetition changes how the brain sets expectations,' the medical professional explained. 'When someone sees the same kind of edited or altered face over and over, the brain will then start treating that image as the baseline. It becomes the new 'normal' even though it is not natural or accurate.' She said in the past, people tried to dial back the clock all at once, whereas now, due to a combination of accessibility and new procedures, the change is happening slowly and from an earlier age. 'What used to be considered early signs of aging is now something people feel they need to erase before it fully appears,' Dr. Monis pointed out. Dr. Joshua Korman, a board-certified plastic surgeon and founder of Korman Plastic Surgery, based in Northern California, agreed, noting that '30 years ago, 50 really was kind of middle age.' 'I think a lot of times middle age may be 70 now,' Dr. Korman, who has worked as a plastic surgeon for 30 years, continued. Dr. Korman claimed the ideal face of a 30-year-old is: 'No pimples and no wrinkles.' '[People are] turning to technologies and medications to make the skin more rejuvenated, even at a young age, like in the 20s and as people approach 30,' he said. Dr. Korman shared that we age in four ways, which can be remedied through various treatments. 'We age with gravity, volume loss, skin texture and dynamic wrinkles, the wrinkles when we smile,' he explained. 'So there's treatments for each one of those things, and surgical stuff really deals with the gravity.' Dr. Monis noted the normalized surgical approach to halting age has resulted in an unrealistic standard being set and normalized - something she personally has noted. 'Patients will bring in filtered photos, not to say they want to look enhanced, but because they believe that's how people their age actually look,' she revealed. Dr. Monis warned this can lead to people constantly aiming for a version of 30 that 'is not even grounded in reality.' 'The constant exposure to curated faces has trained people to see youth as a polished look, not a stage of life,' she said.

Stunning gymnast Suni Lee gives two-word response to taunt about OG Anunoby dating rumors
Gymnast Suni Lee gave a hysterical response on Saturday to a heckle referencing the rumors of a relationship between her and Knicks star OG Anunoby. The lighthearted suggestions of a romance between the pair began back in April, when Lee was spotted sitting courtside for a Knicks-Suns game in which Anunoby ultimately scored 32 points. Actress Anne Hathaway was also present at that game. From there, some Knicks fans became convinced that Lee (who attended several playoff games too) was something of a good luck charm for Anuboby, with his teammate Josh Hart even saying on his 'Roommates Show' podcast that the Knicks 'need' Lee and Hathaway at every playoff matchup. Lee was talking about her Knicks fandom this weekend at Fanatics Fest when a fan interrupted her by shouting out Anunoby's name. 'OG!', he yelled. Lee looked a bit stunned as she laughed the comment off, before telling the fan that the comment was 'out of pocket.' Fan: 'OG!' Lee and Anunoby posed for some pictures after the Knicks beat the Magic on December 3, though the fellow athletes have not actually been spotted outside of Madison Square Garden together. Nonetheless, Lee became a Knicks fan favorite as they had their best postseason run in 25 years and went to the Eastern Conference Finals. Unfortunately, the Knicks lost to the Pistons in the first round on April 21 when Lee was seen sitting on Celebrity Row. Anunoby had a modest 10 points and shot 0-4 from three in that game. The Knicks also lost with Lee in attendance in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs. the Pacers, as Indiana pulled off a stunning comeback to win 138-135 in overtime. Anunoby performed better in that game, as he scored 16 points in the loss. While London-born Anunoby had an impressive year for the Knicks, Lee captured her second Olympic gold medal for Team USA last summer. After previously winning an all-around gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she claimed another in the team event in Paris
