An Android Headlines story claims that the Pixel 10 series will have better speakers. But it's still unclear exactly what the improvement would be. However, according to rumours, Google is not using Dolby Atmos on the Pixel 10. Notably, excellent speakers have always been a characteristic of Pixel devices. The regular Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL will probably be released by Google in August.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL may have a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a maximum brightness of 2,700 nits, while the base model and the Pro variant are rumoured to have a 6.3-inch AMOLED display. The next-generation Tensor G5 processor and up to 16GB of RAM are expected to be included in all three phones. With seven years of OS and security upgrades, they might be running Android 16.
The new AI features unveiled at Google I/O 2025 will also be included in the smartphones. There are rumours that the basic Pixel 10 will get a third telephoto lens. However, the camera hardware from the previous year will probably be included in the Pro models, along with some software upgrades and AI capabilities.
According to reports, Google plans to abandon the Obsidian and Porcelain colour options it typically uses for the Pixel 10 series this year. Instead, the pro models would have Sterling Grey, Light Porcelain, Midnight, and Smoky Green colour options, while the basic Pixel 10 might come in Ultra Blue, Limoncello, Iris, and Midnight.
Google Pixel 10 expected price in India
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Google's stylish foldable flagship, is at the top of the pricing range. The 256GB model may start at 1,899 (about Rs 1,72,000), while the 1TB model may cost as much as 2,289 (approximately Rs 2,07,500). If you can afford it, this year's top-tier storage option adds a little extra luxury.
In the meantime, there has been a minor redesign of the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Google has eliminated the base 128GB variant, but the pricing are still the same as those of the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The Pro XL now comes in three different capacities: 256GB for 1,299 (about Rs 1,17,700), 512GB for 1,429 (roughly Rs 1,29,500), and a huge 1TB for 1,689 (roughly Rs 1,53,100).
Technically speaking, that does indicate that the XL model's entry point has increased, but only because the least expensive variant is no longer available.
