Paul Mescal snogs Gracie Abrams after her Glastonbury set as they party till 3am
Actor Paul Mescal made sure to support his singer girlfriend Gracie Abrams at her Glastonbury set as they continued to party until the early hours and share a kiss Paul Mescal was spotted locking lips with singer Gracie Abrams following her performance at Glastonbury. The couple, who recently sparked engagement rumours, partied until the early hours together at the world famous festival. Gladiator actor Paul made sure to support his girlfriend as she performed on The Other Stage alongside his sister Nell, his Normal People co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones and her photographer boyfriend Ben Seed. Fellow Irish star Andrew Scott also joined the group as they supported Gracie. The chart-topper performed her hits including That's So True, Close To You and I Love You, I'm Sorry before she rejoined Paul and their pals. They all then headed over to watch DJ Seth Troxler and partied until 3am. At one point, Paul and Gracie were spotted sharing a passionate kiss. She changed into some more comfortable clothes and wore a pair of red tracksuit bottoms with a white top while Paul kept cool in some blue shorts and a long-sleeved white T-shirt. A source told the Sun, who saw the photo: 'Paul and Gracie were all over each other and couldn't resist a cheeky snog while their pals used the loos. Gracie was still full of energy despite playing on The Other Stage just hours before. 'The group were clearly still on a high from her magical performance as the sun set over Worthy Farm.' Earlier this year, Gracie had been spotted wearing a diamond ring that quickly sparked intense speculation that the duo were set to take their relationship to the next level. Celebrity gossip page Deux Moi also questioned if the big jewel was an engagement ring, sharing a snap of Gracie in Melbourne performing on stage while waring the big bit of bling on her engagement finger. However, in their next public appearance Paul and Gracie appeared to want to play down the speculation. They were in Cannes for the annual Film Festival but made sure to keep their distance as they walked the red carpet separately. Gracie and Paul got together almost a year ago. However, they had seemed as though they were ready to split months before engagement rumours spiralled. In January, they were reportedly dining in a London restaurant when onlookers spotted what was possibly a break-up. Singer Gracie was said to have burst into floods of tears before storming out of the eatery. The couple were said to have been enjoying a bite to eat in North London before things took a dramatic turn. Fellow diners claimed Paul had his "head in his hands as Gracie just sat there crying" at one point. "She was crying so much that he then started to cry too," one onlooker claimed. "She eventually got up and walked out of the restaurant while they were halfway through their meal and he was left to pay the bill before leaving shortly afterwards."

'Inspiring' Lewis Capaldi surprises fans again after secret Glastonbury set
Lewis Capaldi surprised another set of festival goers a day after his Glastonbury performance and was hailed for being an inspiration Lewis Capaldi has been at it again after an emotional Glastonbury comeback on Friday. The Scottish singer stunned the Worthy Farm crowd with a surprise set at this year's festival. But it wasn't just the British fans he wanted to make it up to. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the Someone You Loved singer, 28, wrote: "Had to come back and make it up to you all x" And in similar fashion to his gig a day earlier, Lewis surprised fans in Switzerland after previously having to pull out of a show in 2023. The clip shared by Lewis showed the crowd being told in Switzerland in 2023: "Lewis Capaldi can't sing for us right now. "So we're going to sing for Lewis Capaldi." The scenes showed how the crowd at the time at OpenAir St Gallen coming together to show support for the star by singing his hit tune. Lewis then told his followers: "You filled in for me when I couldn't be there." And a video then showed him walking back on stage to huge applause as he said: "Switzerland 2025 I wanted to make it up to you." After waving at his adoring crowd, he then said: "My name's Lewis Capaldi and I'm f***ing back baby. Here we go." He paused mid song once again to emotionally take in the moment as the crowd serenaded him. As he finished the song he shared a sweet laugh at the scenes as fans flashed love heart signs with their hands. Fans in the comment section were keen to also share their support to the pop star. One user gushes: "The LEGEND IS BACK," while another praised: "What a comeback," with a love heart emoji. A third told him: "You are so incredibly loved. It was great to see you on that stage," an another added: "This is why we need to support each other with understanding, support and grace. I LOVE this. And it's very, very helpful and inspiring. Brilliant! Blessings to all." Following his impressive and emotional comeback, Lewis has released his first new song in two years. He had sent shockwaves on social media when he dropped a teaser for his brand new song in a poignant Instagram video just hours before his Glastonbury appearance. The song, titled Survive, clearly means a lot to the BRIT Award winning artist who has faced much turmoil over the past two years after stepping out of the limelight due to his mental health. Alongside the video, Lewis wrote: "It's been a while." And in classic Lewis style, the artist's new song is full of emotion. Lyrics on the track include "I swear to God I'll survive" and "I'm going to get up and live until the day that I die."

Kneecap's opening Glastonbury montage divides fans as band boast over crowd size
Irish band Kneecap shared a peek at their controversial Glastonbury set after the BBC refused to show their performance live on Saturday Irish rap trio Kneecap took to social media to share their opening Glastonbury montage with their followers. The band's performance at the Worthy Farm event caused controversy with many having called for them to have been removed from the artist list. While the calls failed, the BBC refused to air the group's set live on Saturday as they took to the West Holts stage. And the group were keen to give fans a glimpse of what they missed. They also said they were sharing as some in the crowd wouldn't have been able to see either due to the sheer size of the turnout. Organisers had to announce the stage had been shut down prior to Kneecap's performance to deal with crowd levels. Taking to Twitter /X, the band said: "We made a wee intro video for Glasto - crowd was so big a good few heads couldn't see it so here yis go x," and also added a popcorn emoji. The clip showed a number of high profile people who were against their appearance. It included Sharon Osbourne, who was booed by the crowd at the set. Keir Starmer and other political members also featured in the upload. The video divided users on social media. While some loved the stance, others hit out at the band. One user wrote: "Boasting about having the counter terrorism squad investigating you ain't the flex you think it is." However, another was full of praise, saying: "What an intro," alongside a fire emoji. Another said: "Class lads," with an okay hand emoji. And another urged the band to share an unedited version of their set after they joked on stage that BBC would have their hands full in the editing studios. As the musicians performed to a lively crowd, chants of "f*** Keir Starmer" bellowed out on a number of occasions. Mo Chara also defiantly told the thousands of fans in attendance that he is a "free man". It came after his court appearance last week. During the court hearing, the 27-year-old was said to have been "well within his rights" to voice his opinions on Israel and Palestine, but the alleged incident is a "wholly different thing". At the hearing, Prosecutor Michael Bisgrove said: "Of course, support for the one is not the same as support for the other. So the issue in this case, and the reason it has come to court, it centres on the apparent support by Mr Óg Ó hAnnaidh of a proscribed terrorist organisation." Óg Ó hAnnaidh was released on unconditional bail until his next hearing at the same court on August 20. Due to his release, the band was allowed to play their controversial Glastonbury set. The band was, however, keen to reiterate that the "story isn't Kneecap". They made it clear hat the key talking point shouldn't be themselves, but instead said the focus should be on what is happening in Palestine.
